Before us ng th s product,please make sure that you have f rst
read th s manual, use t n the proper method. In order to work best
you should also follow the nstruct ons of the warn ng labels .

● Before us ng ,please read the user’s manual carefully ,and
understand the caut on rules completely .
The blades are very sharp , f operated wrongly t s
very dangerous. Never use th s hedge tr mmer when
under the nfluence of alcohol, when suffer ng from
exhaust on or lack of sleep ,when suffer ng from drows ness as a result
of hav ng taken med c ne or at any
t me when the poss b l ty ex sts
that your judgment m ght be
mpa red . Ch ldren under 16 years,
are not allowed to use the

● Because the fuel produces dangerous carbon monox de,please
don’t use t ndoors, n tunnels and other areas of

■ Warning considering handling of fuel
The eng ne of th s product s des gned to run on
m xed fuel wh ch conta ns h ghly flammable
petroleum. You should never store
cans of fuel or ref ll the tank n any place where there s a
bo ler,stove ,wood f re ,electr cal sparks, weld ng sparks
or any other source of heat or f re wh ch m ght

gn te the fuel.
● Smok ng wh le operat ng the hedge-tr mmer or ref ll ng ts fuel
tank s extremely dangerous. Never operate l ke that.
● When ref ll ng the tank always turn off the eng ne f rst and take a
careful look around to make sure that there are no sparks or open
flames anywhere nearby before refuel ng.
● If any fuel sp llage occurs dur ng refuel ng, use a dry rag to w pe
up sp lls before attempt ng to start the eng ne.
● After refuel ng, screw the fuel cap back t ghtly onto the fuel tank
and then carry the hedge-tr mmer to a spot three meters or more
away from the refuel ng area.

■Things to check before using your hedge-trimmer
Before beg nn ng work, look around carefully to
get a feel for the shape of the land, or hedge to
be tr mmed, and whether or not there s any obstacle wh ch m ght get
n the way wh le work ng, and remove any obstacle wh ch can be
cleared away.
● The area w th n a per meter of f fteen meters of the person us ng
the hedge-tr mmer should be cons dered a hazardous area nto
wh ch no one should enter wh le the hedge-tr mmer s n use. When
work s to be performed s multaneously by two or more persons,
always check the presence and locat on of others so as to ma nta n a
safe d stance between each person suff c ent to ensure safety .
● Before start ng, please nspect the mach ne,make sure that the fuel
tank , blades ,and mach ne are n good cond t on . Be espec ally
carefully to check that there s noth ng wrong w th the blades or
w th the jo nts by wh ch the blades are attached to the
hedge-tr mmer.
● When the blades wear ser ously or the clutch mechan sm has worn
out, stop mmed ately and attend to the repa rs.
● Make sure that the handles and protect ve covers are n good
cond t on.

● The mach ne has a centr fugal clutch; the blades w ll not move
when dle. Only when the eng ne speed s up to a certa n level w ll
the blades beg n to move.
Please don’t put the throttle nto the h ghest speed
when start ng.

● Keep your hands t ght on the handles, and keep
the correct operat ng pos t on.
● When the blade s be cleaned, stop qu ckly, restart
t after clean ng.
● Do not touch the spark plug or w re n an attempt
to stop the eng ne.

the spark.
IMPORTAT
● Us ng unm xed fuel (pure petroleum) w ll
result n eng ne damage. So must make sure
that the fuel s r ght when add ng fuel.
● Fuel w ll become stale f stored for a long t me
due to degradat on, the f xed fuel should used
up w th n th rty days.
● Always use clean fuel that has no water
contam nat on, water can cause blockages
w th n the fuel system and cause corros on.
● Never use o l for four stroke eng nes or water
cooled two stroke eng nes, t can cause spark
plug foul ng, exhaust port block ng or p ston
r ng st ck ng.

Pay attention to agitation.
·Add su table o l to the petroleum accord ng to volume, the rat o s
25:1.
·Put some of the gasol ne nto a clean ,approved fuel conta ner.

percent.
4. After f n sh ng add ng fuel/o l,t ghten the
tank l d ,make sure that there s no leakage.

The starting way of engine
1.
Uses the f ngers press ng the pr mer button unt l you observe the
fuel return ng to the tank.
IMPORTAT
When refuel ng, do not f ll beyond e ghty percent of
the tank capac ty, f you add too much, the fuel w ll
leak from the tank, and poss bly result n an
acc dent.

When there s some fuel rema n ng n the tank,
when the eng ne s st ll hot, f you w sh to start
t aga n , t s no need to operate the pr mer button.
1. Put the choke lever on the carburetor
to the closed pos t on.
2. Put the mach ne onto even ground, at
f rst pull the reco l handle slowly,
when you feel some res stance,pull
the reco l handle qu ckly .
3. After start ng the eng ne,return the
choke lever to the opened pos t on .
4. Start the eng ne for one to two
m nutes for warm ng.
If the fuel s too
much ,wh ch
wont allow the eng ne to start , please remove the spark plug to dry,
then start aga n.

■ To stop the engine
1. Release the throttle,run on low speed to allow the eng ne to cool.
2. SL700C: put the stop lever n “stop” place.
SLP600C: put the stop lever n“○” place.

■ The operation method of engine
CAUTIO
● Before operat ng the throttle and handle, please
remove the lock.
● After start ng the eng ne, return to the throttle handle,
make sure the blade s operat ng,f not stop the
eng ne and make sure carburetor and throttle whether
s n good cond t on .
● Before start ng the mach ne, make sure that the fuel
tank cap s not loose and that there s no fuel leakage.
● Place the mach ne onto even ground, there
could be an
acc dent when the blade s too near the ground, also
don’t start w th a s ngle hand.

the double blade hedge-tr mmer handle can be sw vel through n nety
degrees to the left or r ght.
Proceed as follows:
1. Free the handle by press ng the lock ng lever,tw st the handle to
the des red way.
2. When the handle s the des red pos t on,let go of the handle
lock ng lever.
3.Wh le the handle bracket has become f xed you can beg n work ng.

1. Wh le tr mm ng, you should go forward along the hedge ,
please do not go backwards.
2. Make sure the mach ne s n ts normal env ronment, away
from any stone work, plast c, w re or large branches.
3. Never use th s mach ne for branches above 15mm th ckness.

outs de cover,then clean the nner d rt. When the f lter net s d rty,
please add warm water, clean and dry t ,re assemble t .
A d rty cleaner w ll reduce the power,f there s no
cleaner or damage , do not start the mach ne,
otherw se the eng ne w ll be damaged qu ckly.

After operat ng for 25 hours, take the f lter from the fuel tank for
clean ng off d rt, f t s very d rty t should be replaced.
A clogged f lter w ll reduce the eng ne speed,

the speed w ll not be stable. Change the f lter promptly.

■ Spark plug
Spark plug s eas ly have carbon depos t, after
operat ng for twenty-f ve hours, remove t, and
clean the electrodes w th a steel w re brush. The
su table electrode clearance of the spark plug s
0.6~0.7mm.

■ Gear case
After operat ng for twenty hours, you need to add grease to the gear
case .Please use a grease gun on the n pple prov ded.

■ Blade
Every t me work ng for 1~2 hours, you should add grease to the
blade.
To sharpen the blade
1. Start the eng ne, keep the blade w th low
speed, move the blade for 2mm, and stop
the eng ne.
2. To sharpen the blade use a su table small flat
f le or dress ng stone and address the
exposed blade edge.
3. Start the eng ne aga n,stagger the blade for
2mm, then stop t . Address the newly
exposed blades as before.
4. Repeat as requ red.
5. Start the eng ne, al gn the blades and address the top of the blades.

■ Muffler
After operat ng for f fty hours, please remove the muffler, clear the
nner carbon depos t w th screw dr ver, at the same t me clean the
carbon of the outlet p pe. Fasten every screw securely.

Ⅶ Instructions for long storage
1. Wh le clean the mach ne, nspect every part whether t s
damaged or loose, f found, repa r t before next use.
2. Extract fuel from the tank and run off the eng ne unt l t stops
naturally.
3. Remove the spark plug and put n two stroke o l n the eng ne.
Pull the start ng ropes two to three t mes, replace the plug and
stop t at the compress on pos t on. Make sure the stop sw tch s n
the off pos t on.
4. Apply ant -rust o l to any exposed metal parts such as the throttle
w re . Put the cover on the blade and keep the mach ne ndoors to
avo d t becom ng damp.
IMPORTANT
● Long storage of the mach ne ncorrectly may
result n damage to the eng ne (shortage of power).
● Do not t ghten the tank cap too much, otherw se
the seal ng r ng w ll be damaged.
