Besten Dank und Gratulation zum Kauf dieses AXTON PERFECT V-FIT 3-Wege Komponen-
tensystems. Die bei diesen Lautsprechersystemen verwendeten Einzelteile und Baugrup-
pen entsprechen höchsten Qualitäts-Standards!
Für hochwertige Car Audio Komponenten ist eine Montage durch einen professionellen
Einbauer sehr empfehlenswert. Falls Sie jedoch beabsichtigen, dieses System selbst ein-
zubauen, bitten wir Sie, sich eingehend mit der nachfolgend im Detail beschriebenen Mon-
tageanleitung vertraut zu machen. Lesen Sie sich diese Bedienungs-/Installationsanleitung
sorgfältig durch und bewahren Sie diese für vielleicht später auftauchende Fragen auf.
Falls Sie weitere Fragen bezüglich der Einstellmöglichkeiten oder der Installation dieses
Lautsprechersystems haben, lassen Sie sich von Ihrem AXTON Fachhändler beraten.
AUSPACKEN DES SYSTEMES
Nehmen Sie die Lautsprecher vorsichtig aus dem Karton und kontrollieren Sie, ob sich alle
Teile in einem einwandfreien Zustand benden. Das System besteht aus folgenden Einzel-
Komponenten:
n 2 Tieftöner
n 2 Mitteltöner
n 2 Hochtöner
n 2 In-Line Frequenzweichen
n 1 Kabelsatz für Hochtöner, Mitteltöner und Tieftöner
n 1 Bedienungsanleitung mit Garantiekarte
Bitte wenden Sie sich an Ihren AXTON Fachhändler, falls der Lieferumfang unvollständig
ist oder Teile dieses Sets einen Transportschaden aufweisen.
BEVOR SIE BEGINNEN
Sie benötigen für den Einbau des Sets folgendes Werkzeug:
n Torx 20 Schraubendreher
n Kunststoffkeil
n Klebeband
n Kabelbinder
n Crimpzange
n Heißklebepistole

MONTAGE DER TIEFTÖNER
 WARNUNG
n Bevor Sie mit der Demontage der Türverkleidung beginnen, nehmen Sie unbedingt das
Fahrzeug vom Strom. Entfernen sie das Minus-Kabel an der Batterie, um Störungen vom
Bordcomputer zu vermeiden.
n Entfernen Sie die 3 Schrauben an der Unterkante der Türverkleidung und die Schrauben
hinter der Türgriff-Verkleidung resp. der Verkleidung der Armlehne. Lösen Sie nun vorsichtig
die Stopfen der Türverkleidung. Hebeln Sie hierzu vorsichtig mit einem Kunststoffkeil oder
einem achen aber breiten Schlitzschraubendreher die Verkleidung vom Türblech weg. Um
Beschädigungen am Lack zu vermeiden, kleben Sie die Stellen, wo Sie den Keil ansetzen,
mit Klebeband ab Achten Sie darauf, das erst sämtliche Stopfen angelöst sein müssen, be-
vor die Türverkleidung endgültig abgenommen werden kann. Nachdem die Türverkleidung
abgebaut ist, ziehen Sie die Kabel ab und hängen den Seilzug des Türöffners aus. Eine
letzte Schraube hält die Verkleidung in der Nähe des Hochtöners.
n Der originale Tieftöner ist am inneren Türblech festgenietet. Entfernen Sie die Nieten,
z.B. indem Sie sie mit einem 10mm Bohrer aufbohren, und nehmen dann Lautsprecher
heraus. Sammeln Sie die evtl. heruntergefallen Nieten wieder ein, um evtl. auftretenden
Störgeräuschen entgegenzuwirken. Bringen Sie nun den neuen AXTON Tieftöner an und
schrauben Sie ihn fest.

MONTAGE DER FREQUENZWEICHEN
n Die Frequenzweiche ist mit einem stark haftenden, doppelseitigen Klebeband ausgestat-
tet. Befestigen Sie die Frequenzweiche im Bereich neben dem Tieftöner. Dort ist ausrei-
chend Platz vorhanden.
MONTAGE DER MITTELTÖNER
n Die originalen Mitteltöner sind verschraubt und können leicht demontiert werden. Setzen
Sie die neuen AXTON Mitteltöner ein und schrauben Sie sie fest.
MONTAGE DER HOCHTÖNER
n Der Hochtöner bendet sich hinter einer Verkleidung, die wie oben schon erwähnt, von ei-
ner Schraube und durch Stopfen gehalten wird. Nachdem die Verkleidung abgebaut wurde,
trennen Sie vorsichtig den Hochtöner von der Verkleidung und setzen Sie den neuen AXTON
Hochtöner die diese Stelle. Fixieren Sie den Hochtöner mit etwas Heißkleber und bringen
Sie die Verkleidung wieder an der Tür an.

ANSCHLUSS DER FREQUENZWEICHE
n Verbinden Sie nun die Anschlusskabel mit den entsprechenden Lautsprechern. Den Aus-
gang WF verbinden Sie mit dem Woofer, resp. Tieftöner; den Ausgang MID mit dem Mittel-
töner; den Ausgang TW mit dem Hochtöner.
n Wählen Sie eines der beiden mitgelieferten Anschlusskabel mit Original-Fahrzeugstecker,
um die Frequenzweiche mit der Zuleitung vom Radio zu verbinden.
n Auf der Frequenzweiche bendet sich ein Schiebeschalter um den Hochtonpegel je nach
Geschmack um -3dB absenken zu können.
MONTAGE DER TÜRVERKLEIDUNG
n Die Montage des Lautsprechersets ist abgeschlossen. Um die Türverkleidung wieder zu
montieren, gehen Sie in umgekehrter Reihenfolge der Demontage vor.
INBETRIEBNAHME DES SYSTEMES
n Schalten Sie Ihren Moniceiver, Radio oder Head-Unit ein und erhöhen Sie langsam die
Lautstärke.
Achten Sie auf erhöhte Verzerrungen oder Störgeräusche. Wenn dies der Fall sein sollte,
müssen Sie Ihren Einbau nochmals genau überprüfen, im speziellen die Polaritäten der
Anschlüsse am Verstärker und den Frequenzweichen.

Thank you and congratulations on your purchase of this AXTON PERFECT V-FIT 3-way
component system. This loudspeaker system uses very high quality parts and compo-
nents only. The careful development of the speaker units and the crossovers becomes
obvious, when the system is installed and playback starts. As with all high-quality car audio
components, professional installation is highly recommended. If you plan on installing this
component system by yourself, please read the following installation guide carefully, before
you attempt the installation. You should retain this manual, the packing and the purchasing
receipt for future reference. For any further information about mounting, connecting or ad-
justing this speaker system, please contact an authorized AXTON dealer.
UNPACKING THE SYSTEM
Carefully remove the loudspeakers, crossovers and the accessories from the giftbox and
check whether all parts are in good undamaged condition, and match with the set contents
listed below:
n 2 Woofers
n 2 Midrange speakers
n 2 Tweeters
n 2 In-line crossovers
n 1 Set of wiring hardware for tweeter, mid and woofer
n 1 Instruction manual with warranty card
Please contact your authorized AXTON dealer if the content of this set is incomplete or
parts of it show signs of transport damage.
BEFORE YOU START
To be able to install the loudspeaker system it is helpful to have the following tools and
parts at hand:
n Torx 20 screwdriver
n Wedge of plastic
n Tape
n Straps
n Crimp pliers
n Hot glue

WOOFER INSTALLATION
 WARNING
nBefore you remove the door panel, it’s very important to disconnect the battery from the
electrical system of the vehicle. Unscrew the terminal of the negative battery pole. This step
will avoid errors in the blackbox of the car.
nRemove the 3 screws in the lower area of the door panel and the screws behind the cover
of the arm rest. The last screw can be found in the area of the tweeter cover. Use the plastic
wedge to lever the door panel off the door. To avoid scratches on the varnish, adhere some
tape on the affected area. Disconnect all plugs between the door panel and door.
nThe original woofer is held by rivets. Remove these rivets, for example with a 10mm drill,
and replace the woofer with the new AXTON woofer. Collect the drilled out rivets to avoid
background noises. Do this on both front doors.

CROSSOVER INSTALLATION
nThe in-line crossover comes with an adhesive tape on the backside. Remove the backing
adhere the crossover besides the woofer. There is enough space left for the crossover.
MIDRANGE INSTALLATION
nThe original midrange speaker is held by screws. Unscrew the speaker and replace it with
the new AXTON midrange speaker. Do this on both front door panels.
TWEETER INSTALLATION
nThe tweeter is located behind a cover in the area of the mirror. Remove the tweeter from
the cover and replace it with the new AXTON tweeter. Use a little bit of hot melt glue to x
the new tweeter.
nNow mount the cover including the tweeter back in place. Be sure that the cover ts
perfectly. Do this on both front door sides.
CROSSOVER WIRING
nNow run all wires to the designated speakers: WF to the woofer, MID to the midrange
speaker and TW to the tweeter.
nChoose one of the provided connecting wires to connect the crossover with the supply
line of the radio.
nThere is a switch on the crossover PCB to decrease the tweeter volume level by -3dB.

MOUNTING THE DOOR PANEL
nThe install of the speaker system is complete. Follow the steps in reversed way to re-
mount the door panel.
TESTING THE INSTALLED SYSTEM
Slowly turn up the volume of your head unit, and listen for distorted sounds. If everything
appears to be okay and it just sounds right, check out the speaker balance of the left and
right side by adjusting the balance control of your headunit. Shifting the balance to the left
channel should provide you with sounds coming solely from the left speaker system, whi-
le shifting the balance to the right should do the same for the right speakers. If anything
appears to be wrong, you must recheck the wiring of the x-overs, the amp or the mid/
woofers.

WARRANTY CONDITIONS
AXTON warrants this 3-way component speaker system and its parts to be free of defects
in materials and workmanship for two years from the date of purchase at retail, contingent
upon being properly installed and approved by an authorized AXTON dealer.
AXTON Inc. will at its own discretion repair or replace any mechanically defective speaker
unit or crossover during this warranty period.
Should your AXTON component system – or parts of it – require warranty service, please
return it to the retailer from whom it was purchased. Please do not send any product to
AXTON. Should you have difculty in nding an authorized AXTON service center, details
are available from the national distributor in the country of purchase.
Abuse of this component speaker system due to excessive amplier power, improper in-
stallation, amplier clipping or physical damage is not covered under warranty.
GARANTIE GEWÄHRLEISTUNG
AXTON gewährt auf dieses Produkt, bzw. seine Einzelteile eine Garantiezeit von ZWEI JAH-
REN, gültig ab Kaufdatum im Fachhandel. Diese vollumfängliche Garantieleistung basiert
auf korrekter Installation des Sets durch einen autorisierten AXTON Fachhändler. Die Ga-
rantie gewährleistet – während der Garantiezeit – den kostenlosen Ersatz von allen mecha-
nisch defekten Einzellautsprechern und Frequenzweichen. Im Falle eines Schadens bringen
Sie dieses Komponentensystem am besten zum autorisierten Fachhandelspartner, wo es
gekauft wurde.
Senden Sie dieses System auf keinen Fall direkt an die angegebene Adresse des Haupt-
sitzes, dies könnte große Verzögerungen bei der Garantieabwicklung zur Folge haben.
Missbrauch oder elektrische Überlastung dieses Komponenten-Systems in Form von über-
höhter Leistungszufuhr, fehler- oder laienhafter Installation, clippendem Verstärker oder
auch Fremdeinwirkung durch Manipulation/Modikation an den Einzelteilen fallen nicht un-
ter die Garantie-Gewährleistung!
