Azuga SafetyCam™ | Installation Guide | V 27.04.21
Steps to get started

Prepare for Installation
A
Check the Compatability of your GPS device
(Skip this step if you received a new device in the box)
The SafetyCam works in conjunction with a Plug-and-Play GPS
Tracker in the vehicle.
Note that it only works with a 4G-LTE device that began
shipping from Azuga in July 2019. If you have an older device
that runs on the 3G network, it will need to be replaced with a
newer device.
You can determine 4G or 3G by looking on the Azuga Web
portal under Admin-Devices and check the Product Code
column. If the code starts with DCM970, you have the correct
device that works with SafetyCam.
CVerify the vehicle mapping in Azuga Fleet App
(If you have received an Azuga GPS device in the box)
In packages with SafetyCam and GPS device bundled together,
they are paired to each other by default. If you have changed
the pairing of the device and SafetyCam, you can refer to Step
3 of this guide to update the associated vehicle with the proper
SafetyCam.
DChoose your preferred way to mount & power Safetycam in vehicle
By default, your kit includes a mirror mount and an OBD - II
Power Cable for easy installation
BInsert the Device
Once you have ensured you have the latest device, plug it into
the diagnostic port in your vehicle.
