SPEED:The riding speed
AVG:Average speed, 0~99.9Km/h (MPH)
MAX:Maximum speed , 0~99.9Km/h (MPH)
Trip:Trip distance（0~99999.9Km/Mile）
ODO:Total distance（0~99999.9Km/Mile）
Time: The riding time
:Battery indicator; it will not fluctuate with the motor on/off.
:Show when the temperature is below freezing.
:H
eadlamps & backlight indication, automatic work according to the external light.
ERROR:Error code indicator.
MAINTAIN:Indicate the maintain information according to the battery cycle times and ODO.
:PAS Level, 0~ 3, 0 for neutral.
:Power indication (Battery output), can be hide by parameter setup.
:Temperature display. The range is -20℃~50℃, higher than 50℃will display HI
Lower than -20℃will display Lo.

Operation:
1.Power On/Off : Press and hold Power button for 2 seconds can turn on/off the Meter.
2. Speed mode switch: Short press LEFT button can change the speed mode,
Speed->AVG Speed->MAX Speed.
Note: If there is no operation for 5 seconds, the meter will return Speed (Real-Time) display automatically.
3. Mileage mode switch: Short press RIGHT button can change the mileage mode,
Trip->ODO->Time.
4. PAS operating: Short press UP/DOWN button can change the PAS level from 0 to 3, 0
for neutral.
5. Headlight/backlight On/Off: Press and hold UP button for 2 seconds can turn on/off
the headlight/backlight.
Note: At the automatic light sensor mode, press and hold the UP button can turn on the backlight /
headlights. If automatic light sensor had opened the backlight / headlight, press and hold the UP button
can’t turn it off. You should close the automatic sensor first, and then turn off the light manually.
Note: The motor does not work when the battery voltage is low, meter still can keep the headlight on for a
while when E-bike is in riding.
6. 6km walk :Press and hold DOWN button can get into 6km walk mode, out of the mode
when release the button.
Note: this function needs the support of controller.
7. Data clean:Press and hold RIGHT button for 2 seconds can cleanup several temporary
data, the temporary data include AVG Speed / MAX Speed / Trip / Time.
Note: Meter will not erase these data when power off.
8. Parameter settings
Double press the POWER button (press interval less than 0.3 second), the Meter will get
into the parameter setting state, current parameter flash. short press the LEFT/RIGHT
buttons can switch the setting parameter, press the UP/DOWN buttons can change the
parameter values, press the POWER button to save and exit the parameter setting state.
Warning: don't change the following parameters if you are not sure
The location of speed display symbol Wd, this is the wheel diameter, wrong wheel diameter will cause
speed abnormal.
The location of speed display symbol bU0, this represent the battery parameter, wrong parameter can
cause battery indication abnormal.
8.1 Kilometer / Mile : Get into parameter setting state, the location of speed icon display
symbol S7,presstheUP/DOWN button rotate display the symbol km/h /MPH (Km /
Mile), short press the POWER button to exit the parameter setting state.

8.2 ℃/℉:Get into parameter setting state, the location of speed icon display symbol CF,
press the UP/DOWN button rotate display the symbol ℃/℉.
8.3 Light sensitive : Get into parameter setting state, the location of speed icon display
symbol bL0,pressUP/DOWN button display symbol 0~5.0indicate automatic
headlight/backlight OFF, 1~5 indicate automatic headlight/backlight ON. 1indicates the
brightest on(auto turn on the backlight at bright environment), 5indicates the darkest
on(auto turn on the backlight at dark environment).
8.4 Backlight brightness : Get into parameter setting state, the location of speed icon
display symbol bL1,pressUP/DOWN button display symbol 1~5 to change the
brightness of the backlight.
8.5 Buzzer : Get into parameter setting state, the location of speed icon display symbol bEP,
press the UP/DOWN button rotate display symbol 0/1,0indicates buzzer off, 1indicates
buzzer on.
8.7 Auto off delay time : Get into parameter setting state, the location of speed icon display
symbol OFF,presstheUP/DOWN button display symbol 1~9, represent automatically
shutdown delay time (minutes), default value is 5.
8.8 Power display : Get into parameter setting state, the location of speed display symbol
Pod,pressUP/DOWN button display symbol 0/1, represent whether to show the
power indicate on LCD.
8.9 Maintain reminded : Get into parameter setting state, the location of speed icon display
symbol nnA(ma), press the UP/DOWN button rotate display symbol 0/1,0represent
maintain reminding off, 1represent maintain reminding on.
8.10Wheel diameter : Get into parameter setting state, the location of speed icon display
symbol Wd,presstheUP/DOWN button can change this parameters as follows,
16/18/20/22/24/26/700C/28/29. This is represent the wheel diameter, in units of inches.
8.11Battery parameter : Get into parameter setting state, the location of speed icon display
symbol bU0,presstheUP/DOWN button can change this parameters as follows,
24/36/UbE. This is represent the Battery rated voltage, UbE means user define voltage.
8.12Password : Get into parameter setting state, the location of speed icon display symbol
PSd, remind to input passwords, press UP/DOWN buttons to setup password value
(0~9), press LEFT/RIGHT buttons to switch the password items. Passwords are 4 digit,
default password is "1919". Press POWER button when password adjustment is
completed. Meter will back to the Voltage set item if the password is wrong. Correct
password will enter the Speed limit set item.
8.13 Speed limit set : The location of speed display symbol SPL, the location of mileage
display speed limit value, default value is 25km/h. Press UP/DOWN buttons to adjust
the speed limit value, the minimum value is 10km/h, the maximum value is 99km/h.

Note: The meter will automatically exit the parameter setting state when there is no operation for
10 seconds.
9. Maintain reminded (this function is optional)
The meter can remind maintain information，according to mileage（ODO）and battery cycle
times.
Meter will display symbol MAINTAIN when the ODO accumulated more than setting
mileage (this parameter can be set by dealers), the mileage symbol will flash for 4
seconds when the meter power on, the buzzer beep for 2 seconds at the same time.
Meter will display symbol MAINTAIN When the battery cycle over setting times, the
symbol of battery will flash for 4 seconds when the meter power on, the buzzer beep for
2 seconds at the same time.
You can shutdown maintain reminding message by parameter setting. Parameter setting
->Maintain reminded（nnA）->0
Trouble shooting
Black display: Temperature is too high or too low. Exposed too long in sunlight directly.
No Back-light or too dark: Reset the backlight brightness.
Error Code define
800U meter can warn the E-bike’s error, show error icon and error code on LCD, error code
definition see the table below.

Precaution
1. This meter can be used in the rain but should not be started or used under water.
2. Don’t leave the main unit exposed to direct sunlight when not riding the bike.
3. Check the communication of the meter the button periodically.
4. Don’t disassemble the meter or the accessories.
5. Don’t use thinner, alcohol or benzene to clean the meter or the accessories when they
become dirty.
6. There is waterproof membrane inside the sound hole. Don’t insert sharp object into the
hole, it will causes waterproof failure.
7. Do not concentrate on meter while riding. Safety first.
