1. Open door, the drying process is interrupted.
2. Load or remove laundry and close door.
3. If required, select a new program me and additional functions.
4. Press the $inicio/stop (start/stop) button.
Emptying condensation
Empty the container after every use.
1. Remove the condensation container and hold it
level.
2. Open the locking cap.
3. Pour out the condensation .
Check the valve in the condensation container for dirt:
If there are fluff deposits on t he valvearinse the valve under running water. Also pour
some tap water into the empty condensation contain er then pour it out again through
the valve. To do this, press the valve in and allow all th e water to drain out.
4. Close the locking cap.
5. Always push the tank fully back in until it locks in place.
If the depósito (container) /filtro (clean) indicator light
comes on after emptying the container asee page 1 0.
Cleaning the fluff filter
Clean the fluff filter after each drying operation.
1. Open the door, remove the fluff filter.
2. Remove the fluff (by wiping t he filter with your hand).
If the fluff filter is heavily soiled or blocked, rinse it with wa rm water,
and dry it thoroughly.
3. Re-insert the fluff filter so that you hea r it click into place.
4. Remove fluff from door/door area.
Switching off the dryer
Turn the programme selector to stop (Off).
Do not leave laundry in the d ryer.
Removing the laundry
Your dryer is equipped with an automatic a nti-crease function. The drum is moved at specific time intervals
for 30 minutes once the programme has ended. The la undry remains loose and soft (for 90 minutes if the
menos c(Reduced Ironing) additi onal function is selected, depend ing on the model).

– Wipe off with a soft, damp cloth.
– Do not use harsh cleaning agents/solvents.
– Remove detergent and cleaning agent residue immediately.
Clean air cooler 5 or 6 times a year
or if depósito (container) /filtro(clean) flashes after cleaning the fluff filter.
Air cooler
– Allow the dryer to cool.
– Residual water may leak out, so place an absorbent towel underneath
the maintenance door.
1. Unlock the maintenance door (1).
2. Open the maintenance door fully (2).
3. Turn both locking levers outwards (1).
4. Remove the front insert (2).
5. Remove the air cooler.
Do not damage the air cooler!
When cleaning, use warm water only. Do not use hard or sharp-edged objects.
6. Clean the air cooler completely. Let it drip completely dry.
Clean the seals.
7. Insert the air cooler first (handle facing down), then the front insert.
8. Turn back both locking levers.
9. Lock the maintenance door.

Do not tumble-dry the followi ng fabrics for example:
– Airtight fabrics (e.g. rubber -coated fabrics).
– Delicate materials (silk, cur tains made from synthetic material) athey m ay crease.
– Laundry contaminat ed with oil.
Before using the dryer for the first time
– Do not put any laundry inside the dry er. Turn the programme selector to Timed
Programmes (apage 7) and press $inici o/stop (start/stop). At the end of the
programme, turn the programme s elector to stop (Off).
Drying tips
– To ensure a consist ent result, sort the laundry by fabric t ype and drying programme.
– Always dry ver y small items (e.g. baby socks) together with larger item s (e.g. hand towels).
– Close zips, hooks an d eyelets, and button up covers. Tie cloth bel ts, bands, etc. together.
– Do not over-dr y easy-care laundry arisk of creasing!
Allow laundry to finish drying in the ai r.
– Do not iron la undry immediately after drying, fo ld items up and leave for a while a
the remaining moisture will then be distributed evenly.
– Knitted fabrics (e.g. T-sh irts, jerseys) often shrink during the ir first drying.
aDo not use the caliente 120 min (warm 120 min) programme.
– Starched laundry is not always suitable for dry ers astarch leaves behind a coating that
adversely affects the drying opera tion.
– Use the correct dosage of fabric softener as per the manufact urer's instructions when
washing the laundry to be dried.
– Use the timer programme for small loads athis im proves the drying result.
Environmental protection/energy-saving tips
– Before drying, spin the laund ry thoroughly in the washing machine athe higher the spin
speed, the shorter the drying time will be (consumes less energy), al so spin easy-care
laundry.
– Use the maximum recomme nded capacity, but do not exceed it

– Make sure the roo m is well ventilated during drying.
– Clean the fluff f ilter after every drying operation apage 4.
– Do not obstruct or seal up the air inlet.

Installation
– Delivery specification : dryer, instructions for insta llation and use.
– Check dryer for transpo rt damage.
– The dryer is very heavy. Do not attempt to lift it on your own.
– Be careful to avoid sharp edges.
– Do not lift the d ryer by protruding parts (e .g. the door) - risk of breakage.
– Do not set up in a roo m that is susceptible to frost.
Freezing water may cause damage.
– If in doubt, have the a ppliance connected by an e xpert.
Setting up the dryer
– The appliance plug must always be accessible.
– Ensure that the appliance is instal led on a clean, level
and firm surface.
– Keep the air inlet on th e front of the dryer clear.
– Keep the area ar ound the dryer clean.
– Adjust the height of the dryer using the threaded
feet at the front.
Do not remove the threaded feet under any
circumstances.

– Connect to an AC e arthed socket. If in doubt have the socket checked by an expe rt.
– The mains volta ge and the voltage shown on the rating plate (aPage 9) must correspond.

Washer-dryer stack connec tion set
The dryer can be placed o n top of a suitable washing m achine with the same width a nd depth
to save space. This connect ion set must always be used to secure the dryer to the washing
machine. If the worktop of the washing machine is less than 544 mm deep, please consult
the after-sales service or your sp ecialist retailer.

Defect
– Do not use the dryer if it is d efective or if you suspect it is.
Repairs must only be carrie d out by the after-sales service.
– Do not use the drye r if the mains cable is defective. T o avoid danger, only
have the defective mains cabl e replaced by the after-sales service.
Spare parts
– Only use genuine spare parts and accessories for safety reasons.
Disposal
– Dryer: pull out the appliance plug, then cut off the mains cable from the
appliance. Dispose of the a ppliance at a municipa l waste disposal facility.

– Do not iron laundry immediately after drying, fold items up and leave for a while a

– Knitted fabrics (e.g. T-shirts, jerseys) often shrink during their first drying.

Environmental protection/energy-saving tips
– Before drying, spin the laundry thoroughly in the washing machine athe higher the spin
speed, the shorter the drying time will be (consumes less energy), also spin easy-care

Installation
– Delivery specification: dryer, instructions for installation and use.
– Check dryer for transport damage.
– The dryer is very heavy. Do not attempt to lift it on your own.
– Be careful to avoid sharp edges.
– Do not lift the dryer by protruding parts (e.g. the door) - risk of breakage.
– Do not set up in a room that is susceptible to frost.
Freezing water may cause damage.
– If in doubt, have the appliance connected by an expert.
Setting up the dryer
– The appliance plug must always be accessible.
– Ensure that the appliance is installed on a clean, level
and firm surface.
– Keep the air inlet on the front of the dryer clear.
– Keep the area around the dryer clean.
– Adjust the height of the dryer using the threaded
feet at the front.
Do not remove the threaded feet under any
circumstances.

– Connect to an AC earthed socket. If in doubt have the socket checked by an expert.
– The mains voltage and the voltage shown on the rating plate (aPage 9) must correspond.
– The connected load and necessary fuse protection are specified on the rating plate.

Washer-dryer stack connection set
The dryer can be placed on top of a suitable washing machine with the same width and depth
to save space. This connection set must always be used to secure the dryer to the washing
machine. If the worktop of the washing machine is less than 544 mm deep, please consult
the after-sales service or your specialist retailer.

the problem yourself. You will be charged for advice if a technician is called out, even during

Emergency
– Pull the appliance plug out of the socket immediately or disconnect the fuse.

– To dry fabrics.
The dryer must

– Be used for other purposes than those described above.
– Be modified in terms of its technology or attributes.
Dangers
– The dryer must not be used by children or persons who have not been
instructed in its use.
– Do not leave children unsupervised near the dryer.
– Keep pets away from the dryer.
– Remove all objects from pockets.
Make especially sure that cigarette lighters are removed as they constitute an

– Open the door carefully. Hot steam may escape.

– Dust (e.g. coal dust, flour) poses a danger:

– Switch off the dryer once the programme has ended.
– Condensation is not drinking water and may be contaminated with fluff.
Defect
– Do not use the dryer if it is defective or if you suspect it is.
Repairs must only be carried out by the after-sales service.
– Do not use the dryer if the mains cable is defective. To avoid danger, only
have the defective mains cable replaced by the after-sales service.
Spare parts
– Only use genuine spare parts and accessories for safety reasons.
Disposal
– Dryer: pull out the appliance plug, then cut off the mains cable from the
appliance. Dispose of the appliance at a municipal waste disposal facility.
– Packaging: do not leave children alone with packing parts

– All materials are environmentally safe and can be reused. Dispose of all
materials in an environmentally-responsible manner.
