REQUIREMENTS OF SECURITY
MEASURES
• Do not use the xture if there are any damages of its
units or parts.
• Apply vibration meter only its intended purpose.
TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
3.1. Assignment
Vibration meter BALTECH VP-3410 is designed to perform
vibration measurement of a wide range of machines for the
purpose of checking their technical condition.
The vibration meter is a simple, portable measurement xture,
which allows to perform the following tasks:
•measurement of acceleration;
•measurement of velocity;
•measurement of displacement.

• environmental temperature, °С - from 0 to +50
• relative humidity at 25 °С: to 95%
4.2. Setting-up procedures
4.2.1. and exterior check of xture
To unpack the xture you just need to draw it out of the
packing cartoon.
Before starting the measurements it is necessary to make
exterior check of the xture on absence of mechanical damages
and contaminations.
To check the delivery set of the xture according to division 3.3.
«Structure of vibration meter».
In the presence of contaminations it is necessary to make
technical service according to division 5 of the present OM.

ATTENTION
In the presence of any mechanical damages please make
sure that they do not inuence on xture reading, otherwise
send the xture for repair.
4.2.2. Sensor installation
Vibration meter BALTECH VP-3410 uses an acceleration sensor,
which is connected to the electronic xture with a help of low-
noise cable.
Sensor installation on the object is done with the help of magnet
clamp, shipped with the sensor.
The place of installation need to be cleaned
and put consistent lubricant for resonance
lowering. (Pic. 4-1)
