Cautions
Please read before use. ■The product is intended for ages 6 and older. Do not
give the product to anyone below the specified age.
<Improper use of the battery may lead to overheating, exploding, and fluid leakage.
Please see the following Cautions content.>
■Swallowing the coin cell battery can be lethal. Do not store in a place that can be reached by
children. If swallowed, please contact a doctor immediately.
■Please have the parents or guardians change the batteries.
■
Do not mix alkaline, standard carbon-zinc or rechargeable batteries, or dierent type of batteries.
Do not mix new and used batteries. Remove batteries when not in use or discharge.
■Please set the battery in its proper + and

■Do not short-circuit, recharge, dismantle, heat, or place the battery into a fire.
■
Please follow your local district and area rules when discarding the product or batteries.
Do not douse the product in water or wet the product. Do not use
or place the product in humid or high-moisture conditions.
Please be careful not to place the “Demon Slayer Tamagotchi” in
your clothes and wear to avoid washing or drying of the product.
<Usage Warnings>
■We are not responsible for loss of data from use of the product.
■Discard plastic packaging immediately after opening.
■Do not place the product on resin treated products such as sofas,
seats, and tiles. Long-term exposure may discolor the product.
■Do not forcibly pull or bend moveable parts or attachments.
■The battery included is only for temporary use. Please replace the
battery if the screen does not show properly.
■The product is composed of various electronic components.
Do not drop, wet, dirty, or dismantle the product. Do not use or
store the product under extreme temperatures.
■Please press the reset switch if the product encounters an error.
■Clock precision: ±10 seconds daily

Press on the
holder with the
ball chain in
place to remove
the ball chain.
Hook the ball chain
inside the clasp, and pull
on the chain to lock the
ball chain to the clasp.

1_ Pull out the tab from the casing.
→
A sound will ring, and the time
setting screen will appear.
2_ Reset instructions
Press on the reset switch on the
back of the casing with a tipped
object to do a reset.
→A sound will ring if successful.
3_ Setting the timer
Use the A button to set the time in
order of “hours”
→
“minutes”. Use the
B button to confirm the changes. Press
the C button to return a step back.
4_ Joining the Demon Slayer Corps
Once the timer is set, the scene starts
from when the Demon Slayer passes
the Final Selection. The Demon
Slayer then receives a standard
uniform to show they have joined the
Demon Slayer Corps.
※Do not press hard on the reset switch
using pointed objects, such as
mechanical pencils, to prevent
damage to the device.
※Please press the reset switch after
changing the batteries.
※Please refer to “Reset instructions” if the device or screen doesn’t function properly.
※There is no save function to the product. Please be warned that changing batteries or going
through the “Reset instructions” will reset your current play data.

Press the B button during the Demon
Slayer display screen to transition to the
timer screen. Press the B button again to
return to the Demon Slayer display screen.
Low batteries may cause the screen to go
blank and may lead to loss of controls.
Please replace the batteries when the
battery exchange icon is displayed.
Press the A button while the
C button is pressed during the
Demon Slayer display screen to
transition to the sound select
screen. Use the A button to select
between “ON” or “OFF”
then press the B button to confirm
the change.
※Please be warned that turning the sound
“OFF” will prevent the Demon Slayer
call from ringing.
Press the B button to transition to the
timer screen, then press the A button
while the C button is pressed to transition
to the timer setting screen. To set the time,
please follow the instructions under
“Setting the timer” (see “2. Joining the
Demon Slayer Corps”).
1_ Slide the battery cover
downward (IMAGE ) while
pressing down on the push
lock on the back (IMAGE )
using a pointed object.
2_ Remove the batteries and
replace them with new
batteries (2 × LR44 batteries; sold
separately) making sure that the and of
the batteries are properly set.
※Always replace both batteries at the same time.
3_ Always go through the “Reset instructions”
(see “2. Joining the Demon Slayer Corps”)
after the battery cover is placed back into its
closed position.

Turning the sound on and off

If the Demon Slayer is unhappy, press the A button
to open the select screen, then use the A button to
select
→
, and press the B button to give
the Demon Slayer some green tea.
After a certain amount of time passes, a demon
will appear after you receive a mission from a
Kasugai crow. The demon will slowly take over
the screen. Press the A button to slay the demon
before it takes over the screen completely.
※You cannot give Green Tea to the Demon Slayer
when a demon is present, or when the Demon
Slayer is sleeping, injured, or is about to die. ※You cannot slay the demon if your Demon
Slayer is asleep, injured, or is about to die.
※You cannot turn the lights on or off while
the Demon Slayer is awake.
When the Demon Slayer goes to sleep, press the
A button to open the select screen, then use the
A button to select (OFF) and the B button to
turn the lights off. (You cannot control anything
other than turning the lights on or off, displaying
and fixing the time, or turning the sound on or
off while the Demon Slayer is asleep.)
If the Demon Slayer is hungry, press
the A button to open the select
screen, then use the A button to
select →, and press the B
button to give the rice ball to the
Demon Slayer.
Training is needed to become a
powerful Demon Slayer. From the
select screen, use the A button to
choose , then use the A button to
select one of the three training
methods and the B button to confirm
the selection.
The Demon Slayer will be injured if
the demon is left alone or if you do
not train the Demon Slayer. If injured,
press the A button until the Demon
Slayer fully recovers. If left injured,
the Demon Slayer may die, so please
be careful.
The Demon Slayer will die if left injured
or is injured a number of times. Kakushi
will appear upon death to clear the area.
You may receive an update from a
Kasugai crow on how things are
faring around the area. Once you
have checked the update, press the
A button, B button, or the C button
to continue.
→How to train a new Demon Slayer
Press the A button while the C button
is pressed to restart from the Final
Selection. Please do your best to lead
and train the Demon Slayer.
※You cannot display or fix the time, or turn
the sound on or off while the Demon
Slayer is injured.
※All controls are inaccessible if the Demon
Slayer is about to die.

You will need to take the proper action
depending on the state of the Demon
Slayer when you are called. In case
you do not notice the Demon Slayer’s
call, press the C button to confirm the
state of the Demon Slayer.
※You cannot give a Rice Ball to the Demon
Slayer when a demon is present, or when
the Demon Slayer is sleeping, injured, or
is about to die.
※You cannot train when a demon has
appeared, or when your Demon Slayer
is asleep, injured, or is about to die.
There are 3 dierent demons, and
1 of them will randomly appear to
attack the Demon Slayer.
Be careful, as the demons are very
active during the night.

Training_Shamisen
Quickly press the buttons as displayed
on the screen. If there are two A buttons
or B buttons displayed, press the
displayed button twice. The training is
a success if you followed the orders on
screen correctly. Follow the orders
5 times right to get a perfect result.
The shamisen strings will snap and
result in a fail if you don’t follow the
orders on the screen, or if you do not
press the A button or the B button.
Training_Slice the Flesh Obi
Press the A button or the B button the
moment the sword is positioned in the
middle of the obi. The training is a
success if you slice the obi. Slice the obi
successfully 5 times to get a perfect
result. You will fail if you don’t press the
button when the sword is in the middle,
or if you don’t press the button for a set
amount of time after the sword sets in
the middle.
Training_Baggage Carrying
Move the cursor left using the A button
and right using the B button to catch the
falling baggage ( or ).
The training is a success if you catch 20
baggage in a row.
