The Bantam Stealth comes fully set up by Temple Audio for optimal performance.
Getting the most out of the Amplifier is as simple as plugging it in and using it.
The standard gain level of the Bantam Stealth is intended to match with the
majority of audio sources and speakers. It is possible to increase or decrease the
gain by accessing the internal gain switch.
In the rare event that you need to change the gain contact Temple Audio for
advice.
Troubleshooting:
Problem Solution
No sound from unit
(power light does not illuminate when button
is pressed)
Power not connected:
Check the power supply is properly
connected to the mains outlet. Also check
that the power supply is properly connected
to the Bantam Amplifier.
No sound from unit
(power light is illuminated when button is
pressed)
Self protection mode activated:
Try disconnecting each speaker individually.
A fault on one speaker output (I shorted
cable) will cause the amplifier to mute the
sound on both channels until the fault is
removed.
Try different speaker cables or a different
pair of speakers.
Audible Background noise: Poor quality input cable or source.
Try a different input cable
Earth connection not adequate:
Try a different sound source. Preferably full
size Hi-Fi unit. xamine your system for poor
earth connections or earth loops.
