QUICK START
TURN ON THE AMP
Check the MASTER volume, GAIN and channel VOLUME pots are completely closed or the MUTE is engaged.
Connect the power cable to mains and switch on the amp.
If a ground noise (hum at 50-60Hz) occurs, ip the ground lift switch (GND LIFT) on the rear panel.
CONNECTIONS
Connect microphones to the XLR or instruments to the ¼”jack sockets. Remember to activate the P48 phantom
power on the XLR when using condenser microphones and DYN P48 contact microphones or the 10V on the
¼”jacks when using STAT pickups or other electrostatic microphones. LINE signals can be connected via the
stereo 1/8”jack.
LEVELS SET UP
Playing (or singing) loud, turn the GAIN up until the OL red LED starts to blink, from there turn it back down a
little. Now open the MASTER between 30% and 50% nally adjust CHANNEL VOLUME as needed.
OTHER FEATURES
Once the levels are properly set, you can shape your sound with the EQ and the WARM lter (on ch. 1) or cut
the selectable 150 Hz or 240 Hz with the RESON notch lter (on ch.2) and set the amount of REVERB you want
on each channel and its return on the MASTER. The LOW CUT button will high pass the signal to the MASTER.
EXTERNAL EFFECTS
You can connect external effects on the MASTER (affecting all channels) using a Y-cable: connect the stereo
¼”jack to the INSERT socket and the two mono ¼”jacks to the input and output of the external pedal.
In alternative, for parallel connection, connect the AUX OUT to the external effect’s input and the return from
the effect into ch. 5. Set the amount of signal you want to send to the effect with the REV/AUX pot of each
channel. If you don’t want to use the internal reverb module, simply turn the REVERB MASTER down to zero.
