Safety
If you have sensitive skin, are taking a dermatologist-related medication,
undergoing dermatologist-related treatment, are pregnant or have a
pre-existing medical condition, please consult your doctor before using
Ice Queen.
Those with darker skin complexions may have adverse reactions to
using Ice Queen, such as pigmentation and depigmentation, severe
redness, swelling or burning. If you have a darker complexion, please
consult a doctor before using this product.
Do not use in the shower or bath, or near water-filled
bathtubs or sinks. At all times, keep the product and
power adapter dry.
Do not use the product around your eyes, genitals or
other sensitive areas.
Wear protective glasses when using the product. The
high-frequency flashing lights may otherwise affect your
vision.
Do not insert any objects into the product.
If the product is damaged, do not touch any internal parts
due to risk of electric shock.
Keep out of reach of children under 18 years old.

treatment home with you!
The sleek, ergonomic design allows you to use the
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) process to break down the
hair follicles at their roots, stopping stubborn hair
growth and keeping your skin silky smooth.
The Ice functionality will cool down your skin during
treatment, stopping those painful moments when
your hair removal session starts to burn.
Use it all over your body and you’ll see results after
just two sessions.

Before You Ice
First up, Ice Queen is not waterproof, so stay far away
from the bath or shower when using the product.
Once you’re in a safe location, make sure your hair is no
longer than 2mm. If your hair is longer, you may burn the
hairs, which will cause skin redness and swelling (and not
the most pleasant smell!) A quick shave with the razor
provided will have you ready to go in no time.
Clean your skin, so it is free of any products, such as
moisturisers or gels. Ice Queen won’t work properly
otherwise.
Put on the sunglasses provided, or your own eye cover, as
the flashing lights can affect your vision.
Do a patch test on a small area of skin at Intensity Level 1
and then leave for 24 hours. If you have no negative
reaction, you can trial using higher Intensity Levels across
your full body.
We know how excited you are to start using your Ice Queen,
but before you begin, you have to prepare properly. This will
ensure you get the best experience!

Instructions
Plug in the power cord and press the Power button for
two seconds. This will turn the product on.
Press the power button quickly to change intensity. For
your first session, use Intensity Level 1, so your skin can
adjust to the product.
Press Ice Queen onto your skin at a 90 degree angle. This
will ensure your skin is completely in contact with the
product.
Gently press the Flash button on the centre of Ice Queen.
You will see a flash and feel a slight crack. Your skin may
also tingle with an electric current, which may feel like a
flick of an elastic band. This is completely normal. Your
skin is just adjusting to the product.
If the temperature is too hot on your skin, turn the
Intensity Level down.
Now that your skin is prepped, you can start using your new
Ice Queen!

Keep Ice Queen as close as possible to the skin to
properly flash the areas where you wish to remove hair.
Wait for the white light on the lamp to re-illuminate after
you have pressed the Flash button and then press again
on the next area.
If you are using Ice Queen on a large area, use the
Continuous Flash Mode by holding down the Flash button
for two seconds.
To cool down the skin, press the Ice button on the side of
the product. Press it again to turn off the Ice function.
When you’re finished, hold the Power button down for
two seconds to turn off the product. Don’t forget to clean
your product after use so it is ready for your next hair
removal!
Don't forget that you should not use Ice Queen on sensitive
areas.

After Use Care
Once you have used Ice Queen, it is recommended to avoid
water on the area for at least six hours.
After six hours, moisturise the area. Try to avoid perfumes or
active ingredients on the area, as this may irritate the skin.
Avoid sunburn or artificial tanning in the first 48 hours after
using Ice Queen. Wear SPF50 sunscreen if it is not possible to
avoid direct sunlight.

Tips
Hold Ice Queen on the skin and hold down the Flash
button for two seconds.
The flashes will now continue automatically at set
intervals.
Make sure you continuously move the Ice Queen up and
down the skin in this mode, sliding back and forth over
the key areas. This will ensure that no area is missed.
The flashes will occur at different rates based on the
Intensity Level you have selected. The flash speed is
fastest at Intensity Level 1 and slowest at Intensity Level 5.
How to use on large areas
Looking to use Ice Queen on large areas, such as your legs or
arms?
You will want to use the Continuous Flash Mode.

Put Ice Queen on the area where you want to remove the
hair.
Press the Flash button.
Move the product to the next area and wait until the
white light of the lamp is illuminated. Then, press the
Flash button again.
Repeat for any other small areas.
How to use on small areas
Looking to use Ice Queen on smaller areas, such as fingers
and toes?
You will want to use the Single Flash Mode.

Product Care
Turn Ice Queen off and unplug it. If you have just used it,
give it time to cool down fully.
Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe and clean the mirror surface
of the light outlet.
You can use a few drops of highly concentrated alcohol
(no more than 96%) to clean the rest of the product.
Store the product in a dry, dust-free area at room
temperature.
Don’t clean the product under a tap or in a dishwasher.
Don’t use cleaning utensils such as steel wool, flammable
liquids (such as acetone or gasoline) or abrasive cleaners
(such as toothpaste) to clean Ice Queen.
To get the best results and extend the life of Ice Queen, make
sure to clean it before and after use, every time.

Warranty
The Beauty Buddy Ice Queen is warranted to be free of manufacturer’s
defects in materials or workmanship for one year from the date of
purchase. Damage or wear resulting from an accident, misuse, abuse,
commercial use or unauthorised adjustment and/or repair are not
covered under this warranty.
Should this product require warranty service (or replacement at our
discretion), please contact customer service. Proof of purchase is
required. Products returned without prior authorisation from Beauty
Buddy will not be accepted and the sender will not receive a refund or
replacement.
This warranty stipulates uninterrupted 12 month use of the item from
the date of purchase. In the event that the item is faulty within the 12
month warranty period, the customer has the right to return the item to
Beauty Buddy for a resolution in the form of a refund if less than 6
months from purchase or an account credit if after, replacement or
fixing the faulty item at the discretion of Beauty Buddy. Please note that
the replacement item will not be subject to a new 12 month warranty
period, it will just provide cover for the remaining months left in the
warranty of the original item.
There are no express warranties except as listed above. This warranty
gives you specific legal rights and you may have other rights which vary
from state to state.
Please do not return this product to the retailer. Contact us directly for
warranty service.
