1) Assembling the adapter and frequency converter
Connect the cables WN 211-102 and WN 211-103 to the frequency converter plug (order no. 76931026000)
as shown in gure 1.

Next, fasten the assembled cabling to the adapter plate (order no. 00360341100) using two M3 screws
(order no. 94630400000) as shown in gure 2.
Note: Using the adapter plate will increase the entire height by 4cm.

Afx the seal between the adapter and motor (gure 3) as shown for VAU4/2.

Carefully place the adapter plate and cabling onto the motor and fasten them using the three M5 screws
(order no. 94530800000) as shown in gure 4.
When placing the adapter plate onto the motor, ensure that the converter jack and motor plug mate together
properly.
Furthermore, be sure not to damage the motor cable.

Carefully t the converter onto the adapter from the wheel side. Use the rear aligning pin as a limit stop to
position the converter properly.
Feed both cables through the cable bushing. Slowly lower the converter. Using the three M5 screws (order
no. 94531500000), fasten the converter to the adapter plate (gures 5 and 6).

Connect the cables as shown in gure 7.
When assembling the cover, make sure that the ground cable is connected to the cover.

2) Assembling the bus component
(only when specied on the equipment)
The CANopen module (order no. 76930354000) is installed at the position as shown in gure 8.
To install the module, place it carefully onto the socket guide (gure 9) until it reaches the limit stop. Finally,
tighten the module using the two bolts (gure 10).

To install the mounted connector (order no. 74200870000), rst remove the threaded connection on the
left (gure 11).
Screw the installation plug now into the enclosure from the outside.
Warning: Do not forget the sealing ring under the installation plug!

Shorten the length of the connector so that you can easily reach the CANopen module.
Strip the cable ends, tin the wire ends and connect to the module without the wire end ferrules as shown
in gure 13.

Note
The cable ends may be stripped only very short. (Do not forget the tinning!).
The screws should be tightened very carefully but rmly nevertheless. (gure 14)

3) Conguration
To congure the converter, use KombiTool 6.2 in the accustomed manner. You only have to load one de-
scription le and create one new text le. The data line is connected to terminals 4 (RS485 A) 5 (RS485
B) of the converter.
