Eine Weiterverarbeitung der Produkte entgegen deren bestimmungsgemäßen
Verwendung ist nicht zulässig.
Endproduktehersteller und Installateur haben darauf zu achten, dass bei Ver-
wendung unserer Produkte alle, insbesondere hinsichtlich Herstellung des
Endproduktes, Installation und Kundenberatung, erforderlichen gesetzlichen
und behördlichen Vorschriften, insbesondere die einschlägigen aktuellen
EMV-Vorschriften, beachtet und eingehalten werden.
Gewährleistung
Allgemeines
Mit dem VC581 können Sie die Funkreichweite eines Senders aus dem
Centronic Steuerungsprogramm verlängern. Bei optimalen Bedingungen kann
die Reichweite verdoppelt werden. Das Funksignal des Senders kann maximal
3x verlängert werden.
Eine einfache Bedienung zeichnet dieses Gerät aus.

Bitte bewahren Sie die Anleitung auf!
• Nur in trockenen Räumen verwenden.
• Verwenden Sie nur unveränderte Becker Originalteile.
• Halten Sie Personen aus dem Fahrbereich der Anlagen fern.
• Halten Sie Kinder von Steuerungen fern.
• Beachten Sie Ihre landesspezischen Bestimmungen.
• Wird die Anlage durch einen oder mehrere Sender gesteuert, muss
der Fahrbereich der Anlage während des Betriebes einsehbar sein.

Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Der VC581 darf nur für die Optimierung der Funkreichweite von Becker- Centronic-
Funk-Produkten verwendet werden.
• Bitte beachten Sie, dass Funkanlagen nicht in Bereichen mit erhöhtem Stö-
rungsrisiko betrieben werden dürfen (z.B. Krankenhäuser, Flughäfen).
• Die Fernsteuerung ist nur für Geräte und Anlagen zulässig, bei denen eine
Funktionsstörung im Handsender oder Empfänger keine Gefahr für Perso-
nen, Tiere oder Sachen ergibt oder dieses Risiko durch andere Sicherheits-
einrichtungen abgedeckt ist.
• Der Betreiber genießt keinerlei Schutz vor Störungen durch andere Fern-
meldeanlagen und Endeinrichtungen (z.B. auch durch Funkanlagen, die
ordnungsgemäß im gleichen Frequenzbereich betrieben werden).
• Funkempfänger nur mit vom Hersteller zugelassenen Geräten und Anlagen
verbinden.
Hinweis
Achten Sie darauf, dass die Steuerung nicht im Bereich metallischer
Flächen oder magnetischer Felder installiert und betrieben wird.
Funkanlagen, die auf der gleichen Frequenz senden, können zur Stö-
rung des Empfangs führen.
Es ist zu beachten, dass die Reichweite des Funksignals durch den Ge-
setzgeber und die baulichen Maßnahmen begrenzt ist.

Funktionserklärung
Das Gerät empfängt ausschließlich Becker Centronic Funksignale, speichert
diese kurzfristig und sendet sie mit einem Zeitversatz von ca. 0,1s erneut aus.
Das Gerät enthält einen Funkempfänger und einen Funksender. Die Stromver-
sorgung erfolgt mit einem fest angeschlossenen externen Steckernetzteil. Der
VC581 muss nicht eingelernt werden.

Montage
Schließen Sie den VC581 an eine Steckdose an. Beachten Sie bei der Auswahl
der Steckdose, dass der VC581 Ihr Funknetz optimal erweitert, wenn er sich auf
halbem Weg zwischen Funksender und Funkempfänger bendet, für die das
Funknetz erweitert werden soll.
Wählen Sie für den VC581 eine hohe exponierte Lage z. B. auf einem Schrank
oder Regal aus. Achten Sie darauf, dass in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Funkrepea-
ter keine Metallächen z. B. durch einen Stahlschrank oder durch eine Metall-
fensterbank benden. Diese können die Funktion des Funkrepeaters sehr stark
einschränken.
Wir empfehlen bei der Positionierung des VC581 mit einem Funkanalysetool die
Verbesserung des Funksignals am anzusteuernden Empfänger zu prüfen.
Reinigung
Reinigen Sie das Gerät nur mit einem feuchten Tuch. Verwenden Sie kein Reini-
gungsmittel, da dieses den Kunststoff angreifen kann.

Structural modications and incorrect installation which are not in accordance
with these and our other instructions can result in serious injuries, e.g. crushing
of limbs. Therefore, structural modications should only be carried out with our
prior approval and in accordance with our instructions, particularly the informa-
tion contained in these Assembly and Operating Instructions.
Any further processing of the products which does not comply with their intend-
ed use is not permitted.
The end product manufacturer and tter have to ensure that all the current stat-
utory, ofcial regulations and, in particular, EMC regulations are adhered to dur-
ing utilisation of our products, especially with regard to end product assembly,
installation and customer advice.
Warranty
General
The VC581 lets you extend the radio range of a transmitter from the Centronic
control programme. Under optimum conditions, the range can be doubled. The
radio signal range of the transmitter can be extended to a maximum of three
times that of the original.
This device is excellent because it is so easy to operate.

Use in accordance with regulations
The VC581 is only suitable for optimising the radio range of Becker Centronic
radio-controlled products.
• Please note that radio equipment cannot be operated in areas with increased
risk of interference (e.g. hospitals, airports).
• The remote control is only permitted for equipment and systems with which
a malfunction in the hand-held transmitter or receiver does not present a risk
to persons, animals or objects, or this risk is covered by other safety devices.
• The operator does not enjoy any protection from disturbances by other re-
mote signalling equipment and terminal equipment (for example, also by
radio sets operated in the same frequency range in accordance with regula-
tions).
• Use radio receivers in conjunction only with devices and systems permitted
by the manufacturer.
Note
Ensure that the controls are not installed and operated in the vicinity of
metal surfaces or magnetic elds.
Radio equipment transmitting at the same frequency could interfere
with reception.
It should be noted that the range of the radio signal is restricted by leg-
islation and constructional measures.

Functions
The device exclusively receives Becker Centronic radio signals, records them
temporarily and then retransmits them with a time delay of approx. 0.1 s. The
device comprises one radio receiver and one radio transmitter. The device is
mains-powered via a permanently connected plug-in power supply. It is not
necessary to program the VC581.

Installing
Plug the VC581 into a power socket. When choosing a plug socket, make sure
that the VC581 will optimally extend your radio network by locating it approxi-
mately half way between the radio transmitter and receiver for which you wish
to extend the radio range.
The VC581 works best if placed at a higher level, e.g., on a shelf or on top of a
cupboard. Make sure that there are no metal surfaces in close proximity to the
radio repeater such as a steel cabinet or a metal window sill, as these can seri-
ously impair the function of the radio repeater.
When positioning the VC581, we recommend using a radio analysis tool to check
that the radio signal is stronger at the receiver to which it is coupled.
Clean the device with a damp cloth only. Do not use a cleansing agent since this
could damage the plastic.

Grâce au VC581, vous pouvez augmenter la portée d’un émetteur de la gamme

Utilisation conforme aux prescriptions
Le VC581 ne doit être utilisé que pour optimiser la portée radio des produits
Becker Centronic.
• Sachez qu’il est interdit d’utiliser les installations radio dans les zones ris-
quant de provoquer des perturbations (p. ex. hôpitaux, aéroports).
• La télécommande n’est autorisée que pour les appareils et installations pour
lesquels une perturbation fonctionnelle dans l’émetteur portable ou dans le
récepteur ne constitue aucun danger pour les personnes, les animaux ou les
choses ou que ce risque est éliminé par d’autres dispositifs de sécurité.
• L’exploitant n’est en aucun cas protégé contre les perturbations par d’autres
installations de télécommunication et dispositifs terminaux (p. ex. par des
installations de radio qui sont utilisées de manière conforme dans la même
plage de fréquence).
• Combinez les récepteurs radio uniquement à des appareils et installations
autorisés par le fabricant.
Remarques
Veillez à ce que la commande ne soit pas installée et utilisée dans une
zone avec des surfaces métalliques ou de champs magnétiques.
Les installations de radio qui émettent sur la même fréquence peuvent
causer une perturbation de la réception.
Sachez que la portée du signal radio est limitée par la législation et par

Explication des fonctions
L’appareil reçoit uniquement les signaux radio des produits Becker Centronic,
les enregistre sur une courte période et les renvoie après un délai de 0,1 s env.
L’appareil est composé d’un récepteur et d’un émetteur radio. L’alimentation
électrique se fait par le biais d’un bloc d’alimentation enchable externe ratta-
ché à l’appareil. Le VC581 ne nécessite aucune programmation.

Montage
Enchez le VC581 dans une prise. Lors du choix de la prise, tenez compte du fait
que le réseau radio est élargi de manière optimale lorsque le VC581 se trouve à
mi-chemin entre l’émetteur et le récepteur radio concernés.
Positionnez le VC581 à un endroit exposé en hauteur, par ex. sur une armoire ou
une étagère. Veillez à ce qu’aucune surface en métal (par ex. armoire ou rebord
de fenêtre métallique) ne se trouve à proximité immédiate du répéteur radio. Le
métal peut très fortement limiter le fonctionnement du répéteur radio.
Lors du positionnement du VC581, nous recommandons de vérier à l’aide d’un
outil d’analyse des ondes radio que la réception du signal radio par le récepteur
à commander est améliorée.
Nettoyez l’appareil uniquement avec un chiffon humide. N’utilisez aucun déter-
gent, celui-ci risquant d’attaquer la matière synthétique.
