1. AVANT DE COMMENCER
1.1 Que contient l’emballage

1.2 Consignes de déballage
Immédiatement après réception d'un appareil, déballez soigneusement le carton, vérifiez le contenu pour
vous assurer que toutes les pièces sont présentes et qu'elles ont été reçues en bon état. En cas de
manquement ou de bien vous semblant endommagées, avisez immédiatement l'expéditeur et conservez
le matériel d'emballage à des fins de vérification. Faites de même si l’emballage vous semble endommagé
ou n’avoir pas été manipulé convenablement.
Conservez le carton et tous les matériaux d'emballage. Dans le cas où un appareil doit être retourné sous
garantie, il est important qu’il soit retourné dans la boîte d'origine et l'emballage d'origine.
2. UTILISATION
•Avant de mettre la guirlande sous tension, toutes les lampes doivent d'abord être vissées. N'utilisez
jamais la guirlande avant que toutes les prises aient été équipées d'une lumière. Vous allumez les
lampes jusqu'à ce que vous ressentiez une résistance. Il n'est pas nécessaire d'appliquer une force sur
les lampes.
•Les lampes peuvent être suspendues, mais chaque douille (douille double ou triple) doit être
supportée individuellement. En pratique, une fixation sur un câble en acier est la solution la plus
simple, sauf si vous pouvez vous connecter quelque part par prise.
•Les connexions IP offrent une protection IP65, attention, toutes les prises classiques doivent être
fournies avec un boîtier ainsi qu'une protection IP65. La protection IP65 ne démarre donc qu'après la
prise. La valeur IP de la connexion dépendra du type de prise sur laquelle elle est branchée.
•Les guirlandes peuvent être rallongées avec les raccords étanches, jusqu'à une consommation totale
de 6a, soit 1320 watts. Donc, vous additionnez la puissance de toutes les lampes et vous ne pouvez
pas dépasser la puissance totale de 1320 Watt (à 220V).
•Il est absolument nécessaire de placer la butée pour obtenir une protection correcte.

VALEUR IP
Qu’est-ce qu’une valeur IP?
La valeur IP indique dans quelle mesure les appareils électriques tels que les luminaires sont protégés
contre les objets solides et l'eau. Une valeur IP se compose toujours de deux chiffres.
Le premier chiffre indique la protection contre les objets solides. Le deuxième chiffre indique le degré
de protection de l'appareil contre l'eau.
Il est logique que lorsqu'un appareil soit bien étanche à l'eau, il soit également difficile pour des objets
solides de pénétrer dans l'appareil. Un deuxième chiffre élevé est donc toujours accompagné d'un
premier chiffre élevé.

IP 0x Non protégé.
IP 1x Protégé contre les objets solides d'un diamètre supérieur à 50 mm (par ex. Contact
accidentel avec les mains).
IP 2x Protégé contre les objets solides d'un diamètre supérieur à 12 mm (par exemple les
doigts).
IP 3x Protégé contre les objets solides d'un diamètre supérieur à 2,5 mm (p. Ex. Fils, câbles

1. BEFORE YOU START
1.1 What is included

1.2 Unpacking Instructions
Immediately upon receiving a fixture, carefully unpack the carton, check the contents to ensure that all
parts are present, and have been received in good condition. Notify the shipper immediately and retain
packing material for inspection if any parts appear damaged from shipping or the carton itself shows
signs of mishandling. Save the carton and all packing materials. In the event that a fixture must be
returned to the factory, it is important that the fixture be returned in the original factory box and packing.
2. USAGE
•Before energizing the garland, all lamps must be screwed in first. Never use the garland until all
sockets have been fitted with a light. Turn the lamps in until you feel resistance. There is no need to
apply force to the lamps.
•The lamps can be hung, but each socket (dual or triple socket) must be individually supported. In
practice, an attachment to a steel cable is the simplest solution, unless you can hook up somewhere
per socket.
•The IP connections provide IP65 protection, mind you, all classic plugs must be provided with a casing
if they also want IP65 protection. The IP65 protection therefore only starts after the plug. The IP value
of the plug connection will depend on the type of socket it is plugged into.
•The garlands can be extended with the waterproof couplings, up to a total consumption of 6A, or 1320
Watt. So you add up the wattage of all lamps, and you may not exceed the total wattage of 1320 Watt
(at 220V).
•It is absolutely necessary to place the end stop in order to obtain correct protection.

IP Value
What’s an IP value?
The IP value indicates to what extent electrical appliances such as lighting fixtures are shielded against
solid objects and water. An IP value always consists of two digits.
The first digit indicates protection against solid objects. The second number indicates the degree to
which the appliance is protected against water.
It makes sense that when a device is well sealed against water, it is also difficult for solid objects to
enter the device. A high second digit is therefore always accompanied by a high first digit.

IP 1x Protected against solid objects with a diameter greater than 50mm (eg accidental
contact with hands).
IP 2x Protected against solid objects with a diameter greater than 12mm (eg fingers).
IP 3x Protected against solid objects with a diameter greater than 2.5mm (eg wires, cables
and tools).
IP 4x Protected against solid objects with a diameter greater than 1mm (eg wires, cables
and tools).
IP 5x Complete protection against contact with live parts (i.e. wiring) and at the same time
harmful accumulation of dust. Dust can enter, but this will not affect operation.
IP 6x Complete protection against contact with live parts (i.e. wiring) and against ingress of
dust.
IP Value Digit 2

IP x1 Protected against vertically falling water drops.
IP x2 Protected against water drops falling at a maximum angle of 15 °.

1.2 Uitpakinstructies
Pak de doos na ontvangst voorzichtig uit, controleer of alle onderdelen aanwezig zijn en in goede staat
zijn ontvangen. Breng de verzender onmiddellijk op de hoogte en bewaar het verpakkingsmateriaal voor
inspectie als er onderdelen beschadigd zijn tijdens de verzending of als de doos tekenen vertoont van
verkeerd gebruik. Bewaar de doos en al het verpakkingsmateriaal. In het geval van retour naar de
fabriek, is het belangrijk dat de armatuur terug gestuurd wordt in de originele fabrieksdoos en
verpakking.
2. GEBRUIK
•Vooraleer de guirlande onder stroom te zetten, moeten eerst alle lampen ingedraaid worden. Gebruik
de guirlande nooit voordat alle sockets zijn voorzien van een lamp. De lampen draait U in tot je voelt
dat er weerstand komt. Het is niet nodig kracht te zetten op de lampen.
•De lampen kunnen gehangen worden, maar iedere socket (dual of triple socket) moeten individueel
ondersteund worden. In de praktijk is een aanhechting aan een staalkabel de eenvoudigste oplossing,
tenzij u per socket ergens kunt aanhaken.
•De IP-verbindingen zorgen voor een IP65 bescherming, let wel, alle klassieke stekkers moet je
voorzien van een omhulsel als ook die IP65 bescherming willen hebben. De IP65 bescherming begint
dus pas na de stekker. De IP-waarde van de stekkerverbinding zal afhangen van het type contrastekker
waar deze wordt ingeplugd.
•De guirlandes kunnen verlengd worden met de watervaste koppelingen, tot een totaal verbruik van
6A, of 1320 Watt. U telt dus de wattage op van alle lampen, en U mag de totale wattage van 1320
Watt (bij 220V) niet overschrijden.
•Het is absoluut nodig de eindstop te plaatsen om een correcte bescherming te verkrijgen.

IP WAARDE
Wat is een IP-waarde?
De IP-waarde geeft aan in welke mate elektrische toestellen zoals verlichtingsarmaturen afgeschermd
zijn tegen vaste voorwerpen en water. Een IP-waarde bestaat altijd uit twee cijfers.
Het eerste cijfer geeft de bescherming aan tegen vaste voorwerpen. Het tweede cijfer geeft aan in
welke mate het toestel beschermd is tegen water.
Het is logisch dat wanneer een toestel goed is afgesloten tegen water, het ook moeilijk is voor vaste
voorwerpen om het toestel binnen te dringen. Een hoog tweede cijfer gaat daarom steeds gepaard
met een hoog eerste cijfer.

IP 0x Niet beschermd.
IP 1x Beschermd tegen vaste voorwerpen met een diameter groter dan 50mm (bv. per
ongeluk aanraken met handen).
IP 2x Beschermd tegen vaste voorwerpen met een diameter groter dan 12mm (bv.
vingers).
IP 3x Beschermd tegen vaste voorwerpen met een diameter groter dan 2,5mm (bv. draden,
kabels en gereedschap).

IP 5x Volledige bescherming tegen contact met spanning voerende delen (i.e. bedrading)
en tegelijk schadelijke ophoping van stof. Er kan stof binnendringen, maar dit
beïnvloedt de werking niet.

en tegen binnendringen van stof.
