1 Important instructions for safety and environment
This section contains safety instructions that will help protect from risk of perso-
nal injury or property damage. Failure to follow these instructions shall void any
warranty.
1.1 General safety
•Thisproductcanbeusedbychildrenatandabove8yearsoldandbypersons
whosephysical,sensoryormentalcapabilitieswerenotfullydevelopedorwho
lack experience and knowledge provided that they are supervised or trained on
thesafeusageoftheproductandtherisksitbringsout.Childrenmustnotplay
withtheproduct.Cleaningandmaintenanceworksshouldnotbeperformedby
childrenunlesstheyaresupervisedbysomeone.Childrenoflessthan3years
shouldbekeptawayunlesscontinuouslysupervised.
•Neverplacetheproductonacarpet-coveredfloor.Otherwise,lackofairflow
beneaththemachinewillcauseelectricalpartstooverheat.Thiswillcausepro-
blemswithyourproduct.
•Iftheproducthasafailure,itshouldnotbeoperatedunlessitisrepairedbythe
Authorized Service Agent. There is the risk of electric shock!
•Thisproductisdesignedtoresumeoperatingintheeventofpoweringonafter
apowerinterruption.Ifyouwishtocanceltheprogramme,see"Cancellingthe
programme"section.
•Connecttheproducttoagroundedoutletprotectedbya16Afuse.Donotne-
glecttohavethegroundinginstallationmadebyaqualifiedelectrician.Ourcom-
panyshallnotbeliableforanydamagesthatwillarisewhentheproductisused
without grounding in accordance with the local regulations.
•Thewatersupplyanddraininghosesmustbesecurelyfastenedandremainun-
damaged.Otherwise,thereistheriskofwaterleakage.
•Neveropentheloadingdoororremovethefilterwhilethereisstillwaterinthe
drum.Otherwise,riskoffloodingandinjuryfromhotwaterwilloccur.
•Donotforceopenthelockedloadingdoor.Theloadingdoorwillbereadytoopen
justafewminutesafterthewashingcyclecomestoanend.Incaseofforcing
the loading door to open, the door and the lock mechanism may get damaged.
•Unplugtheproductwhennotinuse.
•Neverwashtheproductbyspreadingorpouringwaterontoit!Thereistheriskof
electric shock!
•Nevertouchtheplugwithwethands!Neverunplugbypullingonthecable,
alwayspulloutbygrabbingtheplug.
•Usedetergents,softenersandsupplementssuitableforautomaticwashingma-
chines only.
•Followtheinstructionsonthetextiletagsandonthedetergentpackage.
•Theproductmustbeunpluggedduringinstallation,maintenance,cleaningand
repairing procedures.
•AlwayshavetherepairingprocedurescarriedoutbytheAuthorizedService
Agent.Manufacturershallnotbeheldliablefordamagesthatmayarisefrom

1.3 Children's safety
•Packagingmaterialsaredangeroustochildren.Keeppackagingmaterialsina
safe place away from reach of the children.
•Electricalproductsaredangerousforthechildren.Keepchildrenawayfromthe
productwhenitisinuse.Donotletthemtotamperwiththeproduct.Usechild
lock to prevent children from intervening with the product.
•Donotforgettoclosetheloadingdoorwhenleavingtheroomwheretheproduct
is located.
•Storealldetergentsandadditivesinasafeplaceawayfromthereachofthe
childrenbyclosingthecoverofthedetergentcontainerorsealingthedetergent
package.
While washing the laundry at high temperatures, the loading
doorglassbecomeshot.Therefore,keepespeciallythechildren
away from the loading door of the machine while the washing
operation is in progress.
1.4 Package information
•Packagingmaterialsoftheproductaremanufacturedfromrecyclablematerials
inaccordancewithourNationalEnvironmentRegulations.Donotdisposeofthe
packaging materials together with the domestic or other wastes. Take them to the
packagingmaterialcollectionpointsdesignatedbythelocalauthorities.
1.5 Disposing of the waste product
•Thisproducthasbeenmanufacturedwithhighqualitypartsandmaterialswhich
canbereusedandaresuitableforrecycling.Therefore,donotdisposethepro-
duct with normal domestic waste at the end of its service life. Take it to a collec-
tionpointfortherecyclingofelectricalandelectronicequipment.Pleaseconsult
your local authorities to learn the nearest collection point. Help protect the envi-

2 Installation
Refer to the nearest Authorised Service Agent for installation
of the product. To make the product ready for use, review
the information in the user manual and make sure that the
electricity, tap water supply and water drainage systems are
appropriatebeforecallingtheAuthorizedServiceAgent.If
theyarenot,callaqualifiedtechnicianandplumbertohave
any necessary arrangements carried out.
CPreparationofthelocationandelectrical,tapwaterand
waste water installations at the place of installation is
undercustomer'sresponsibility.
Make sure that the water inlet and discharge hoses
aswellasthepowercablearenotfolded,pinchedor
crushed while pushing the product into its place after
installation or cleaning procedures.
Bwarning: Installationandelectricalconnectionsof
theproductmustbecarriedoutbytheAuthorized
ServiceAgent.Manufacturershallnotbeheldliablefor
damagesthatmayarisefromprocedurescarriedoutby
unauthorized persons.
Awarning: Priortoinstallation,visuallycheckiftheproduct
hasanydefectsonit.Ifso,donothaveitinstalled.

2.1 Appropriate installation location
• Placethemachineonarigidfloor.Donotplaceitona
long pile rug or similar surfaces.
• Totalweightofthewashingmachineandthedryer-with
full load- when they are placed on top of each other
reachestoapprox.180kilograms.Placetheproduct
on a solid and flat floor that has sufficient load carrying
capacity!
• Donotplacetheproductonthepowercable.
• Donotinstalltheproductatplaceswheretemperature
mayfallbelow0ºC.
• Placetheproductatleast1cmawayfromtheedgesof
other furniture.
2.2 Removing packaging reinforcement
Tiltthemachinebackwardstoremovethepackaging
reinforcement.Removethepackagingreinforcementby
pullingtheribbon.
2.3 Removing the transportation locks
Awarning: Donotremovethetransportationlocksbefore
taking out the packaging reinforcement.
warning: Removethetransportationsafetyboltsbefore
operatingthewashingmachine!Otherwise,theproduct
willbedamaged.
1.Loosenalltheboltswithasuitablespanneruntilthey
rotate freely (C).
2.Removetransportationsafetyboltsbyturningthem
gently.
3.AttachtheplasticcoverssuppliedintheUserManualbag
into the holes on the rear panel. (P)
CKeepthetransportationsafetyboltsinasafeplaceto
reusewhenthewashingmachineneedstobemoved
again in the future.
Never move the product without the transportation safety
boltsproperlyfixedinplace!
2.4 Connecting water supply
CThewatersupplypressurerequiredtoruntheproductis
between1to10bars(0.1–1MPa).Itisnecessaryto
have10–80litersofwaterflowingfromthefullyopen
tap in one minute to have your machine run smoothly.
Attach a pressure reducing valve if water pressure is
higher.
Awarning: Modelswithasinglewaterinletshouldnotbe
connectedtothehotwatertap.Insuchacasethelaundry
will get damaged or the product will switch to protection
mode and will not operate.
warning: Donotuseoldorusedwaterinlethosesonthe
newproduct.Itmaycausestainsonyourlaundry.
Tightenallhosenutsbyhand.Neveruseatoolwhen
tightening the nuts.
Openthetapscompletelyaftermakingthehose
connection to check for water leaks at the connection
points.Ifanyleaksoccur,turnoffthetapandremovethe
nut. Retighten the nut carefully after checking the seal. To
preventwaterleakagesanddamagescausedbythem,
keep the taps closed when the machine is not in use.
2.5 Connecting to the drain
• Theendofthedrainhosemustbedirectlyconnectedto
thewastewaterdrainortothewashbasin.
Awarning: Yourhousewillbefloodedifthehosecomes
out of its housing during water discharge. Moreover, there
is risk of scalding due to high washing temperatures!
To prevent such situations and to ensure smooth water
intake and discharge of the machine, fix the end of the
discharge hose tightly so that it cannot come out.
• Thehoseshouldbeattachedtoaheightofatleast40
cm,and100cmatmost.
• Incasethehoseiselevatedafterlayingitonthefloor
levelorclosetotheground(lessthan40cmabovethe

ground),waterdischargebecomesmoredifficultandthe
laundry may come out excessively wet. Therefore, follow
theheightsdescribedinthefigure.

and to allow for easy discharge, do not immerse the hose
end into the dirty water or do not drive it in the drain more
than15cm.Ifitistoolong,cutitshort.
• Theendofthehoseshouldnotbebent,itshouldnotbe
steppedonandthehosemustnotbepinchedbetween
the drain and the machine.
• Ifthelengthofthehoseistooshort,useitbyadding
anoriginalextensionhose.Lengthofthehosemay
notbelongerthan3.2m.Toavoidwaterleakfailures,
theconnectionbetweentheextensionhoseandthe
drainhoseoftheproductmustbefittedwellwithan
appropriate clamp as not to come off and leak.
2.6 Adjusting the feet
Awarning: Inordertoensurethattheproductoperates
moresilentlyandvibration-free,itmuststandleveland
balancedonitsfeet.Balancethemachinebyadjusting
thefeet.Otherwise,theproductmaymovefromitsplace
andcausecrushingandvibrationproblems.
1.Loosenthelocknutsonthefeetbyhand.
2.Adjustthefeetuntiltheproductstandsleveland
balanced.
3.Tightenalllocknutsagainbyhand.
Awarning: Donotuseanytoolstoloosenthelocknuts.
Otherwise,theywillgetdamaged.
2.7 Electrical connection
Connecttheproducttoagroundedoutletprotectedbya16
Afuse.Ourcompanyshallnotbeliableforanydamages
that will arise when the product is used without grounding in
accordance with the local regulations.
• Connectionmustcomplywithnationalregulations.
• Powercableplugmustbewithineasyreachafter
installation.
• Ifthecurrentvalueofthefuseorbreakerinthehouseis
lessthan16Amps,haveaqualifiedelectricianinstalla
16Ampfuse.
• Thevoltagespecifiedinthe"Technicalspecifications"
sectionmustbeequaltoyourmainsvoltage.
• Donotmakeconnectionsviaextensioncablesormulti-
plugs.

3 Preparation
3.1 Sorting the laundry
• Sortlaundryaccordingtotypeoffabric,colour,and
degreeofsoilingandallowablewatertemperature.
• Alwaysobeytheinstructionsgivenonthegarmenttags.
3.2 Preparing laundry for washing
• Laundryitemswithmetalattachmentssuchas,
underwiredbras,beltbucklesormetalbuttonswill
damage the machine. Remove the metal pieces or wash
theclothesbyputtingtheminalaundrybagorpillow
case.
•Takeoutallsubstancesinthepocketssuchascoins,
pens and paper clips, and turn pockets inside out and
brush.Suchobjectsmaydamagetheproductorcause
noiseproblem.
• Putsmallsizeclothessuchasinfant'ssocksandnylon
stockingsinalaundrybagorpillowcase.
• Placecurtainsinwithoutcompressingthem.Remove
curtain attachment items.
• Fastenzippers,sewloosebuttonsandmendripsand
tears.
• Wash“machinewashable”or“handwashable”labeled
products only with an appropriate programme.
• Donotwashcoloursandwhitestogether.New,dark
coloured cottons release a lot of dye. Wash them
separately.
• Toughstainsmustbetreatedproperlybeforewashing.If
unsure, check with a dry cleaner.
• Useonlydyes/colourchangersandlimescaleremovers
suitableformachinewash.Alwaysfollowtheinstructions
on the package.
• Washtrousersanddelicatelaundryturnedinsideout.
• KeeplaundryitemsmadeofAngorawoolinthefreezer
forafewhoursbeforewashing.Thiswillreducepilling.
• Laundrythataresubjectedtomaterialssuchasflour,
limedust,milkpowder,etc.intenselymustbeshakenoff
beforeplacingintothemachine.Suchdustsandpowders
onthelaundrymaybuildupontheinnerpartsofthe
machine in time and can cause damage.
3.3 Things to be done for energy saving
Following information will help you use the product in an
ecological and energy-efficient manner.
• Operatetheproductinthehighestcapacityallowedby
theprogrammeyouhaveselected,butdonotoverload;
see,"Programmeandconsumptiontable".
• Alwaysfollowtheinstructionsonthedetergent
packaging.
• Washslightlysoiledlaundryatlowtemperatures.
• Usefasterprogrammesforsmallquantitiesoflightly
soiled laundry.
• Donotuseprewashandhightemperaturesforlaundry
that is not heavily soiled or stained.
• Ifyouplantodryyourlaundryinadryer,selectthe
highest spin speed recommended during washing
process.
• Donotusedetergentinexcessoftheamount
recommended on the detergent package.
3.4 Initial use
Beforestartingtousetheproduct,makesurethatall
preparations are made in accordance with the instructions in
sections“Importantsafetyinstructions”and“Installation”.
To prepare the product for washing laundry, perform first
operationinDrumCleaningprogramme.Ifyourproduct
isnotequippedwithDrumCleaningprogramme,perform
theInitialUseprocedureinaccordancewiththemethods
describedunder“5.2Cleaningtheloadingdoorandthe
drum”sectionoftheusermanual.
CUseananti-limescalesuitableforthewashingmachines.
Some water might have remained in the product due to
thequalitycontrolprocessesintheproduction.Itisnot
harmful for the product.
3.5 Correct load capacity
The maximum load capacity depends on the type of laundry,
the degree of soiling and the washing programme desired.
The machine automatically adjusts the amount of water
according to the weight of the loaded laundry.
Awarning: Followtheinformationinthe“Programme
andconsumptiontable”.Whenoverloaded,machine's
washing performance will drop. Moreover, noise and
vibrationproblemsmayoccur.
3.6 Loading the laundry
1.Opentheloadingdoor.
2.Placelaundryitemslooselyintothemachine.
3.Pushtheloadingdoortocloseuntilyouhearalocking
sound. Ensure that no items are caught in the door.
CThe loading door is locked while a programme is running.
Thedoorcanonlybeopenedawhileaftertheprogramme
comes to an end.
Awarning: Incaseofmisplacingthelaundry,noiseand
vibrationproblemsmayoccurinthemachine.
3.7 Using detergent and softener
CWhenusingdetergent,softener,starch,fabricdye,bleach
orlimescaleremoverreadthemanufacturer'sinstructions
on the package carefully and follow the suggested dosage
values.Usemeasuringcupifavailable.

Detergent Drawer
The detergent drawer is composed of three compartments:
–(1)forprewash
–(2)formainwash
–(3)forsoftener
–(*)inaddition,thereissiphonpieceinthesoftener
compartment.

Detergent, softener and other cleaning agents
• Adddetergentandsoftenerbeforestartingthewashing
programme.
• Neverleavethedetergentdraweropenwhilethewashing
programme is running!
• Whenusingaprogrammewithoutprewash,donot
put any detergent into the prewash compartment
(compartmentnr."1").
• Inaprogrammewithprewash,donotputliquiddetergent
intotheprewashcompartment(compartmentnr."1").
• Donotselectaprogrammewithprewashifyouareusing
adetergentbagordispensingball.Placethedetergent
bagorthedispensingballdirectlyamongthelaundryin
the machine.
• Ifyouareusingliquiddetergent,donotforgettoplace
theliquiddetergentcupintothemainwashcompartment
(compartmentnr."2").
Choosing the detergent type
Thetypeofdetergenttobeuseddependsonthetypeand
colourofthefabric.
• Usedifferentdetergentsforcolouredandwhitelaundry.
• Washyourdelicateclothesonlywithspecialdetergents
(liquiddetergent,woolshampoo,etc.)usedsolelyfor
delicate clothes.
• Whenwashingdarkcolouredclothesandquilts,itis
recommendedtouseliquiddetergent.
• Washwoolenswithspecialdetergentmadespecifically
for woolens.
Awarning: Useonlydetergentsmanufacturedspecifically
for washing machines.

Adjusting detergent amount
Theamountofwashingdetergenttobeuseddepends
on the amount of laundry, the degree of soiling and water
hardness.
• Donotuseamountsexceedingthedosagequantities
recommended on the detergent package to avoid
problemsofexcessivefoam,poorrinsing,financial
savings and finally, environmental protection.
• Uselesserdetergentforsmallamountsorlightlysoiled
clothes.
Using softeners
Pourthesoftenerintothesoftenercompartmentofthe
detergent drawer.
•Donotexceedthe(>max<)levelmarkinginthesoftener
compartment.
•Ifthesoftenerhaslostitsfluidity,diluteitwithwater
beforeputtingitinthedetergentdrawer.
Using liquid detergents
If the product contains a liquid detergent cup:
• Makesurethatyouhaveplacedtheliquiddetergentcup
incompartmentnr."2".
•Iftheliquiddetergenthaslostitsfluidity,diluteitwith
waterbeforeputtinginthedetergentcup.
If the product does not contain a liquid detergent
cup:
• Donotuseliquiddetergentfortheprewashina
programme with prewash.
• Liquiddetergentstainsyourclotheswhenusedwith
DelayedStartfunction.IfyouaregoingtousetheDelayed
Startfunction,donotuseliquiddetergent.
Using gel and tablet detergent
Applythefollowinginstructionswhenusingtablet,geland
similar detergents.
• Ifthegeldetergentthicknessisfluidalandyourmachine
doesnotcontainaspecialliquiddetergentcup,putthe
gel detergent into the main wash detergent compartment
duringfirstwaterintake.Ifyourmachinecontainsaliquid
detergentcup,fillthedetergentintothiscupbefore
starting the programme.
• Ifthegeldetergentthicknessisnotfluidalorintheshape
ofcapsuleliquidtablet,putitdirectlyintothedrumbefore
washing.
• Puttabletdetergentsintothemainwashcompartment
(compartmentnr.“2”)ordirectlyintothedrumbefore
washing.
CTabletdetergentsmayleaveresiduesinthedetergent
compartment.Ifyouencountersuchacase,placethe
tabletdetergentbetweenthelaundry,closetothelower
part of the drum in future washings.
Usethetabletorgeldetergentwithoutselectingthe
prewash function.

Using starch
• Addliquidstarch,powderstarchorthefabricdyeintothe
softener compartment.
• Donotusesoftenerandstarchtogetherinawashing
cycle.
• Wipetheinsideofthemachinewithadampandclean
cloth after using starch.
Using bleaches
• Selectaprogrammewithprewashandaddthebleaching
agentatthebeginningoftheprewash.Donotput
detergent in the prewash compartment. As an alternative
application, select a programme with extra rinse and add
thebleachingagentwhilethemachineistakingwater
from the detergent compartment during first rinsing step.
• Donotusebleachingagentanddetergentbymixing
them.
• Usejustalittleamount(approx.50ml)ofbleachingagent
and rinse the clothes very well as it causes skin irritation.
Donotpourthebleachingagentontotheclothesanddo
not use it for coloured clothes.
• Whenusingoxygenbasedbleaches,selectaprogramme
that washes at a lower temperature.
• Oxygenbasedbleachescanbeusedtogetherwith
detergents; however, if its thickness is not the same
with the detergent, put the detergent first into the
compartmentnr.“2”inthedetergentdrawerandwait
until the detergent flows while the machine is taking
inwater.Addthebleachingagentfromthesame
compartment while the machine is still taking in water.
Using limescale remover
•Whenrequired,uselimescaleremoversmanufactured
specifically for washing machines only.
3.8 Tips for efficient washing

underwear,etc.).Yourlaundrywillbewashedwithvigorous
washing action for a longer washing cycle.
• Synthetics
Usethisprogrammetowashyoursyntheticclothes(shirts,
blouses,synthetic/cottonblends,etc.).Itwasheswitha
gentle action and has a shorter washing cycle compared to
theCottonsprogramme.
Forcurtainsandtulle,usetheSynthetic40˚Cprogramme
with prewash and anti-creasing functions selected. As their
meshed texture causes excessive foaming, wash the veils/
tullebyputtinglittleamountofdetergentintothemain
washcompartment.Donotputdetergentintheprewash
compartment.
• Woollens
Usethisprogrammetowashyourwoolenclothes.Select
the appropriate temperature complying with the tags of your
clothes.Useappropriatedetergentsforwoolens.

Youmaywashyournormallysoileddurablecottonand
linen laundry in this programme with the highest energy
and water saving compared to all other wash programmes
suitableforcottons.Actualwatertemperaturemaydiffer
fromthedeclaredcycletemperature.Programmeduration
mayautomaticallybeshortenedduringlaterstagesofthe
programmeifyouwashlessamount(e.g.½capacityor
less)oflaundry.Inthiscaseenergyandwaterconsumption
willbefurtherdecreasedgivingyoutheopportunityfora
moreeconomicalwash.Thisfeatureisavailableforcertain
models having remaining time display.
• BabyProtect
Usethisprogrammetowashbabylaundry,andthelaundry
thatbelongstoallergicpersons.Longerheatingtimeandan
additional rinsing step provide a higher level of hygiene.
• Delicates
Usethisprogrammetowashyourdelicateclothes.Itwashes
with a gentle action without any interim spin compared to
the Synthetics programme.

Usethisprogrammetowashyourwoolen/delicateclothes

the set spin speed and drain the water coming out of them.
Ifyouwishtodrainonlythewaterwithoutspinningyour
laundry,selectthePump+Spinprogrammeandthenselect
the No Spin function with the help of Spin Speed Adjustment
button.PressStart/Pausebutton.
CUsealowerspinspeedfordelicatelaundries.
4.7 Temperature selection
Whenever a new programme is selected, the maximum
temperature for the selected programme appears on the
temperature indicator.
To decrease the temperature, press the Temperature
Adjustmentbutton.Temperaturewilldecreasegradually.
CIftheprogrammehasnotreachedtheheatingstep,
you can change the temperature without switching the
machinetoPausemode.
4.8 Spin speed selection
Whenever a new programme is selected, the recommended
spin speed of the selected programme is displayed on the
spin speed indicator.
To decrease the spin speed, press the Spin Speed
Adjustmentbutton.Spinspeeddecreasesgradually.Then,
dependingonthemodeloftheproduct,"RinseHold"and
"NoSpin"optionsappearonthedisplay.See"Auxiliary
functionselection"sectionforexplanationsoftheseoptions.
Rinse Hold
Ifyouarenotgoingtounloadyourclothesimmediatelyafter
the programme completes, you may use rinse hold function
to keep your laundry in the final rinsing water in order to
prevent them from getting wrinkled when there is no water
inthemachine.PressStart/Pausebuttonafterthisprocess
if you want to drain the water without spinning your laundry.
Programmewillresumeandcompleteafterdrainingthe
water.
Ifyouwanttospinthelaundryheldinwater,adjusttheSpin
SpeedandpressStart/Pausebutton.
The programme resumes. Water is drained, laundry is spun
and the programme is completed.
CIftheprogrammehasnotreachedthespinningstep,
you can change the speed without switching the
machinetoPausemode.

4.10 Auxiliary function selection
Selectthedesiredauxiliaryfunctionsbeforestarting
the programme. Furthermore, you may also select or
cancelauxiliaryfunctionsthataresuitabletotherunning
programmewithoutpressingtheStart/Pausebuttonwhen
themachineisoperating.Forthis,themachinemustbein
astepbeforetheauxiliaryfunctionyouaregoingtoselect
or cancel.
Iftheauxiliaryfunctioncannotbeselectedorcanceled,light
oftherelevantauxiliaryfunctionwillblink3timestowarn
the user.
CSomefunctionscannotbeselectedtogether.Ifa
second auxiliary function conflicting with the first one
isselectedbeforestartingthemachine,thefunction
selectedfirstwillbecanceledandthesecondauxiliary
function selection will remain active. For example, if you
want to select Quick Wash after you have selected the

with half of the maximum laundry specified in the
programmetable.
• Extra Rinse
Thisfunctionenablesthemachinetomakeanotherrinsing
in addition to the one already made after the main wash.
Thus,theriskforsensitiveskins(babies,allergicskins,etc.)
tobeeffectedbytheminimaldetergentremnantsonthe
laundrycanbereduced.
Delayed Start
WiththeDelayedStartfunctionthestartupofthe
programmemaybedelayedupto19hours.Delayedstart
timecanbeincreasedbyincrementsof1hour.
CDonotuseliquiddetergentswhenyousetDelayed
Start! There is the risk of staining of the clothes.
Opentheloadingdoor,placethelaundryandputdetergent,
etc. Select the washing programme, temperature, spin
speedand,ifrequired,theauxiliaryfunctions.Setthe
desiredtimebypressingtheDelayedStartbutton.Press
Start/Pausebutton.Thedelayedstarttimeyouhavesetis
displayed.Delayedstartcountdownstarts.“_”symbolnext
to the delayed start time moves up and down on the display.
CAdditionallaundrymaybeloadedduringthedelayed
start period.
At the end of the countdown, duration of the selected

Changing the Delayed Start period
Ifyouwanttochangethetimeduringcountdown:
PressDelayedStartbutton.Timewillincreaseby1hour
eachtimeyoupressthebutton.Ifyouwanttodecreasethe
delayedstarttime,pressDelayedStartbuttonrepeatedly
until the desired delayed start time appears on the display.
Canceling the Delayed Start function
Ifyouwanttocancelthedelayedstartcountdownandstart
the programme immediately:
SettheDelayedStartperiodtozeroorturntheProgramme
Selectionknobtoanyprogramme.Thus,DelayedStart
functionwillbecanceled.TheEnd/Cancellightflashes
continuously. Then, select the programme you want to run
again.PressStart/Pausebuttontostarttheprogramme.
4.11 Starting the programme
PressStart/Pausebuttontostarttheprogramme.
Programmefollow-uplightshowingthestartupofthe
programme will turn on.
CIfnoprogrammeisstartedornokeyispressedwithin
1minuteduringprogrammeselectionprocess,the
machinewillswitchtoPausemodeandtheillumination
level of the temperature, speed and loading door
indicatorlightswilldecrease.Otherindicatorlightsand
indicatorswillturnoff.OncetheProgrammeSelection
knobisrotatedoranybuttonispressed,indicatorlights
and indicators will turn on again.
4.12 Child Lock
UseChildLockfunctiontopreventchildrenfromtampering
with the machine. Thus you can avoid any changes in a
running programme.
CIftheProgrammeSelectionknobisturnedwhenthe
ChildLockisactive,“Con”appearsonthedisplay.
TheChildLockdoesnotallowanychangeinthe
programmes and the selected temperature, speed and
auxiliary functions.
Even if another programme is selected with the
ProgrammeSelectionknobwhiletheChildLockis
active, previously selected programme will continue
running.
To activate the Child Lock:
Pressandhold1stand2ndAuxiliaryFunctionbuttonsfor
3seconds.Thelightsonthe1stand2nd Auxiliary Function
buttonswillflash,and"C03","C02","C01"willappearon
thedisplayrespectivelywhileyoukeepthebuttonspressed
for3seconds.Then,"Con"willappearonthedisplay
indicatingthattheChildLockisactivated.Ifyoupressany
buttonorturntheProgrammeSelectionknobwhentheChild
Lockisactive,samephrasewillappearonthedisplay.The
lightsonthe1stand2ndauxiliaryfunctionbuttonsthatare
usedtodeactivatetheChildLockwillblink3times.

To deactivate the Child Lock:
Pressandhold1stand2ndauxiliaryfunctionbuttonsfor3
seconds while any programme is running. The lights on the
1stand2ndAuxiliaryFunctionbuttonswillflash,and"C03",
"C02","C01"willappearonthedisplayrespectivelywhile
youkeepthebuttonspressedfor3seconds.Then,"COFF"
willappearonthedisplayindicatingthattheChildLockis
deactivated.
CInadditiontothemethodabove,todeactivatetheChild
Lock,switchtheProgrammeSelectionknobtoOn/
Offpositionwhennoprogrammeisrunning,andselect
another programme.
ChildLockisnotdeactivatedafterpowerfailuresor
when the machine is unplugged.
4.13 Progress of programme
Progressofarunningprogrammecanbefollowedfromthe
ProgrammeFollow-upindicator.Atthebeginningofevery
programme step, the relevant indicator light will turn on and
light of the completed step will turn off.
You can change the auxiliary functions, speed and
temperature settings without stopping the programme flow
while the programme is running. To do this, the change
youaregoingtomakemustbeinastepaftertherunning
programmestep.Ifthechangeisnotcompatible,relevant
lights will flash for 3 times.
CIfthemachinedoesnotpasstothespinningstep,Rinse
Holdfunctionmightbeactiveortheautomaticunbalanced
loaddetectionsystemmightbeactivatedduetothe
unbalanceddistributionofthelaundryinthemachine.
4.14 Loading door lock
There is a locking system on the loading door of the
machine that prevents opening of the door in cases when
thewaterlevelisunsuitable.
Loadingdoorlightwillstartflashingwhenthemachine
isswitchedtoPausemode.Machinechecksthelevelof
thewaterinside.Ifthelevelissuitable,LoadingDoorlight
illuminatessteadilywithin1-2minutesandtheloadingdoor
canbeopened.
Ifthelevelisunsuitable,LoadingDoorlightturnsoffandthe
loadingdoorcannotbeopened.Ifyouareobligedtoopen
theLoadingDoorwhiletheLoadingDoorlightisoff,you
havetocancelthecurrentprogramme;see"Cancelingthe
programme".
4.15 Changing the selections after
programme has started
Switching the machine to pause mode
PresstheStart/Pausebuttontoswitchthemachineto
pause mode while a programme is running. The light of
the step which the machine is in starts flashing in the
ProgrammeFollow-upindicatortoshowthatthemachine
hasbeenswitchedtothepausemode.
Also,whentheloadingdoorisreadytobeopened,Loading
Doorlightwillalsoilluminatecontinuouslyinadditiontothe
programme step light.
Changing the speed and temperature settings for
auxiliary functions
Dependingonthesteptheprogrammehasreached,you
maycanceloractivatetheauxiliaryfunctions;see,"Auxiliary
functionselection".
You may also change the speed and temperature settings;
see,"Spinspeedselection"and"Temperatureselection".
CIfnochangeisallowed,therelevantlightwillflashfor
3 times.
Adding or taking out laundry
PresstheStart/Pausebuttontoswitchthemachineto
pause mode. The programme follow-up light of the relevant
step during which the machine was switched into the pause
modewillflash.WaituntiltheLoadingDoorcanbeopened.
OpentheLoadingDoorandaddortakeoutthelaundry.
ClosetheLoadingDoor.Makechangesinauxiliaryfunctions,
temperatureandspeedsettingsifnecessary.PressStart/
Pausebuttontostartthemachine.
4.16 Canceling the programme
Tocanceltheprogramme,turntheProgrammeSelection
knobtoselectanotherprogramme.Previousprogramme
willbecanceled.End/Cancellightwillflashcontinuouslyto
notifythattheprogrammehasbeencanceled.
Pumpfunctionisactivatedfor1-2minutesregardlessofthe
programme step, and whether there is water in the machine
ornot.Afterthisperiod,yourmachinewillbereadytostart
with the first step of the new programme.
CDependingonthestepwheretheprogrammewas
canceled in, you may have to put detergent and
softener again for the programme you have selected
anew.
4.17 End of programme
“End”appearsonthedisplayattheendoftheprogramme.
Waituntiltheloadingdoorlightilluminatessteadily.PressOn
/Offbuttontoswitchoffthemachine.Takeoutyourlaundry
and close the loading door. Your machine is ready for the
next washing cycle.
4.18 Your machine is equipped
with a “Standby Mode”
Incaseofnotstartinganyprogrammeorwaitingwithout
making any other operation when the machine is turned
onbyOn/Offbuttonandwhileitisinselectionsteporif
nootheroperationisperformedapproximately2minutes
after the programme you selected has come to an end,
your machine will automatically switch to energy saving
mode.Brightnessofindicatorlightswilldecrease.Also,
ifyourproductisequippedwithadisplayshowingthe
programmeduration,thisdisplaywillcompletelyturnoff.In
caseofrotatingtheProgrammeSelectionknoborpressing
anybutton,lightsanddisplaywillrestoretotheirprevious
condition. Your selections made while exiting the energy
savingmodemaychange.Checktheappropriatenessof
yourselectionsbeforestartingtheprogramme.Readjustif
necessary. This is not a fault.

CUseananti-limescalesuitableforthewashing

Aftereverywashingmakesurethatnoforeignsubstanceis
left in the drum.
Iftheholesonthebellowshowninthefigureisblocked,
open the holes using a toothpick.
CForeignmetalsubstanceswillcauseruststainsinthe
drum.Cleanthestainsonthedrumsurfacebyusing
cleaning agents for stainless steel. Never use steel
wool or wire wool.
Awarning: Neverusespongeorscrubmaterials.These
will damage the painted and plastic surfaces.
5.3 Cleaning the body and control panel
Wipethebodyofthemachinewithsoapywaterornon-
corrosive mild gel detergents as necessary, and dry with a
soft cloth.
Useonlyasoftanddampclothtocleanthecontrolpanel.
5.4 Cleaning the water intake filters
There is a filter at the end of each water intake valve at the
rear of the machine and also at the end of each water intake
hose where they are connected to the tap. These filters
preventforeignsubstancesanddirtinthewatertoenterthe
washingmachine.Filtersshouldbecleanedastheydoget
dirty.
1.Closethetaps.
2.Removethenutsofthewaterintakehosestoaccess
thefiltersonthewaterintakevalves.Cleanthemwithan
appropriatebrush.Ifthefiltersaretoodirty,takethemout
bymeansofpliersandcleanthem.
5 Maintenance and cleaning
Servicelifeoftheproductextendsandfrequentlyfaced
problemsdecreaseifcleanedatregularintervals.
5.1 Cleaning the detergent drawer
Cleanthedetergentdraweratregularintervals(every
4-5washingcycles)asshownbelowinordertoprevent
accumulation of powder detergent in time.
1.Pressthedottedpointonthesiphoninthesoftener
compartment and pull towards you until the compartment
is removed from the machine.
CIfmorethannormalamountofwaterandsoftener
mixture starts to gather in the softener compartment,
thesiphonmustbecleaned.
2.Washthedetergentdrawerandthesiphonwithplentyof
lukewarmwaterinawashbasin.Wearprotectivegloves
oruseanappropriatebrushtoavoidtouchingofthe
residues in the drawer with your skin when cleaning.
3.Insertthedrawerbackintoitsplaceaftercleaningand
make sure that it is seated well.
Ifyourdetergentdraweristheoneindicatedinthefollowing
figure:
CLifttherearpartofthesiphontoremoveitasillustrated.
Afterperformingtheabovementionedcleaning
procedures,replacethesiphonbacktoitsseatingand
push its front section downwards to make sure that the
lockingtabengages.
5.2 Cleaning the loading door and the drum
For products with drum cleaning programme, please see
Operatingtheproduct-Programmes.
Forproductswithoutdrumcleaning,followthebelowsteps
to clean the drum:
Select Additional Water or Extra Rinse auxiliary
functions.UseaCottons programme without pre-wash.
Set the temperature to the level recommended on the
drum cleaning agent which can be provided from
authorized services. Apply this procedure without any
laundry in the product.Beforestartingtheprogramme,

Dischargingthewaterwhentheproductdoesnothavean
emergency draining hose:
a. Placealargecontainerinfrontofthefiltertocatchwater
from the filter.
b.Loosenpumpfilter(anticlockwise)untilwaterstartsto
flow. Fill the flowing water into the container you have
placed in front of the filter. Always keep a piece of cloth
handytoabsorbanyspilledwater.
c. When the water inside the machine is finished, take out
thefiltercompletelybyturningit.
4.Cleananyresiduesinsidethefilteraswellasfibers,if
any, around the pump impeller region.
5.Installthefilter.
6.Ifthefiltercapiscomposedoftwopieces,closethefilter
capbypressingonthetab.Ifitisonepiece,seatthetabs
in the lower part into their places first, and then press the
upper part to close.
3. Take out the filters on the flat ends of the water intake
hoses together with the gaskets and clean thoroughly
under running water.
4. Replace the gaskets and filters carefully in their places
andtightenthehosenutsbyhand.
5.5 Draining remaining water and
cleaning the pump filter
The filter system in your machine prevents solid items
suchasbuttons,coinsandfabricfiberscloggingthepump
impeller during discharge of washing water. Thus, the water
willbedischargedwithoutanyproblemandtheservicelife
of the pump will extend.
Ifthemachinefailstodrainwater,thepumpfilterisclogged.
Filtermustbecleanedwheneveritiscloggedorinevery3
months.Watermustbedrainedofffirsttocleanthepump
filter.
Inaddition,priortotransportingthemachine(e.g.,when
movingtoanotherhouse)andincaseoffreezingofthe
water,watermayhavetobedrainedcompletely.
Awarning: Foreignsubstancesleftinthepumpfiltermay
damageyourmachineormaycausenoiseproblem.
Inordertocleanthedirtyfilteranddischargethewater:
1.Unplugthemachinetocutoffthesupplypower.
Awarning: Temperature of the water inside the machine
mayriseupto90ºC.Toavoidburningrisk,filtermustbe
cleaned after the water in the machine cools down.
2.Openthefiltercap.
Ifthefiltercapiscomposedoftwopieces,pressthe
tabonthefiltercapdownwardsandpullthepieceout
towards yourself.
CYoucanremovethefiltercoverbyslightlypushing
downwards with a thin plastic tipped tool, through the
gapabovethefiltercover.Donotusemetaltippedtools
to remove the cover.

Program does not start after closing the door.
