Instructions for Use
Before First Use
STEP 1: Switch off and unplug the iron from the mains power supply.
STEP 2: Wipe the exterior surface of the iron with a soft, damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
STEP 3: To remove any impurities that may have occurred during the manufacturing
process, it is best to use the iron on an old piece of cloth, making sure that it is on the
highest temperature setting suitable for the material. Plug in and switch on the iron at
the mains power supply, place the iron onto the cloth and then push the steam burst
button 2–3 times, waiting approx. 5 seconds in-between each burst; this will remove any
impurities from the ceramic soleplate.
Do not immerse the iron in water or any other liquid.
Note: When using the iron for the rst time, a slight odour and
a small amount of smoke may be emitted. This is normal and
will soon subside. Allow for sufcient ventilation around the iron
when it is in use.
Filling the Water Tank
STEP 1: Switch off and unplug the iron from the mains power supply.
STEP 2: Check that the steam setting indicator is set to the ‘0’ position (off).
STEP 3: Place the iron onto the iron stand and open the water tank cap.
STEP 4: Fill the measuring jug with water, without exceeding the Max. ll mark. Carefully
pour the contents of the measuring jug into the water tank.
STEP 5: Close the water tank cap.
Caution: Do not ll the water tank past the max. ll mark; it is best
to check the water level when the iron is positioned upright.
Warning: Never add descaling, aromatic, alcoholic or
detergent products to the water tank, as this could cause
damage to the iron or injury to the user.
Using the Two in One Cordless Iron
Using as a Cordless Iron
STEP 1: Check that the iron is switched off and unplugged from the mains power supply.
STEP 2: When the iron is on the iron stand, make sure that the heel of the iron is pushed
back and is secure.
STEP 3: Move the locking switch up to the cordless position. This will lock the power
unit to the iron stand and release the iron.
STEP 4: Plug in and switch on the iron at the mains power supply; the temperature light
will illuminate to signal that the iron is charging.

7
STEP 5: When the temperature indicator light switches off after approx. 25 seconds,
remove the iron from the iron stand and use as a cordless iron.
STEP 6: Put the iron back onto the iron stand to recharge any point. Recharge time is
approx. 5 seconds.
Using as a Corded Iron
STEP 1: Check that the iron is switched off and unplugged from the mains power supply.
STEP 2: When the iron is on the iron stand, make sure that the heel of the iron is pushed
back and is secure.
STEP 3: Move the locking switch to the corded position. This will lock the power unit to
the iron.
STEP 4: Plug in and switch on the iron at the mains power supply.
STEP 5: Remove the iron from the iron stand and use as a corded iron.
Note: When the iron is not in use, keep the locking switch in the
‘locked’ position in the centre. This is ideal for storage.
Ironing with Steam
The steam settings are ideal for removing creases from fabrics such as cotton and linen
with ease.
STEP 1: Fill the water tank following the instructions in the section entitled ‘Filling the
Water Tank’.
STEP 2: Plug in and switch on the iron at the mains power supply.
STEP 3: To increase the temperature of the iron, rotate the temperature control dial in
a clockwise direction until the desired heat setting is reached. Reduce the temperature
by rotating the temperature control dial in an anticlockwise direction. The temperature
indicator light will illuminate to signal that the iron is heating up; this will switch off once
the iron is ready to use. The iron will only produce steam when the temperature control
dial is set to the 3-dot heat setting.
STEP 4: Select the desired steam setting by pressing the steam control trigger until
either ‘1’ or ‘2’ is visible on the steam setting indicator. The steam setting can be
switched off at any time by pressing the stream control trigger until it reaches ‘0’.
STEP 5: After use, rotate the temperature control dial to the ‘Off’ position. Switch off and
unplug the iron from the mains power supply and allow to cool thoroughly.
Note: Allow the iron to reach the desired heat setting before
use; not doing so may cause water to drip from the water tank.
The temperature indicator light will illuminate whilst the iron
is heating up but not when it is cooling down; it should not be
misinterpreted as a ready-to-use indicator light.

8
The temperature indicator light will cycle on and off during use
to regulate the temperature.
Warning: Never leave the iron’s ceramic soleplate resting on
fabric for any longer than 15 seconds.
If ironing with steam for prolonged periods of time, it is
advisable to use the iron as a corded unit.
Ironing without Steam
For removing creases from more sensitive fabrics, try ironing without steam.
STEP 1: Press the steam control trigger until the steam setting indicator is set to ‘0’.
STEP 2: Plug in and switch on the iron at the mains power supply.
STEP 3: To increase the temperature of the iron, rotate the temperature control dial in
a clockwise direction until the desired heat setting is selected. Reduce the temperature
by rotating the temperature control dial in an anticlockwise direction. The temperature
indicator light will illuminate to indicate that the iron is heating up; this will switch off
once the iron is ready to use.
STEP 4: Test the iron on a small area of the fabric to check that the selected temperature
is suitable; adjust if necessary.
STEP 5: After use, rotate the temperature control dial to the ‘Off’ position. Switch off and
unplug the iron from the mains power supply and allow to cool thoroughly.
If ironing with steam for prolonged periods of time, it is advisable to use the iron as a
corded unit.
Steam Burst Function
For creases that are stubborn and difcult to remove, use the steam control trigger to
select the desired steam setting; if necessary, press the steam burst button for extra
steam. Wait approx. 5 seconds in-between each burst to prevent any water leaking out
from the steam holes.
Note: The iron will only produce steam when the temperature
control dial is set to the 3-dot heat setting.
Vertical Steam Ironing
The steam burst button can also be used to vertically steam curtains and other
hanging garments.
STEP 1: Hang up the item to be vertically steamed.
STEP 2: Press the steam control trigger until the steam setting indicator is set to ‘0’.
STEP 3: Fill the water tank following the instructions in the section entitled ‘Filling the
Water Tank’.

9
STEP 4: Plug in and switch on the iron at the mains power supply.
STEP 5: Rotate the temperature control dial until the 3-dot heat setting is selected; the
higher the temperature, the more powerful the steam.
STEP 6: Hold the iron approx. 15 cm away from the item and press the steam burst
button to remove any creases, waiting approx. 5 seconds in-between each burst.
Water Spray Function
The water spray function can be used to help to remove stubborn creases on heavier
fabrics. It can also be used when dry ironing delicate fabrics that cannot be steam ironed.
To use the water spray function, hold the iron over the area to be ironed and then press
the water spray button.
Note: The water spray function will not work if the water tank
is empty.
When using the water spray function for the rst time, it may be
necessary to press the water spray button several times.
Anti-drip Feature
The iron has an anti-drip feature to prevent water leaking out from the steam holes when
the temperature is not high enough to generate steam. This is an automatic feature that
is permanently activated.
Anti-calcium Feature
The iron has a built-in resin anti-calcium lter located in the water tank to prevent
calcium and limescale build-up. Calcium build-up, which is prominent in areas with hard
water, can hinder performance and lower the lifespan of the iron. This is an automatic
feature that is permanently activated.
Note: The lter is built in and does not need replacing.
Self-clean Function
The self-clean function removes limescale and impurities from within the ceramic soleplate.
It is recommended to use this function on a fortnightly basis or more often if the iron is
used in a hard water area.
STEP 1: Switch off and unplug the iron from the mains power supply.
STEP 2: Press the steam control trigger until the steam control indicator is set to ‘0’.
STEP 3: Place the iron onto the iron stand.
STEP 4: Fill the water tank following the instructions in the section entitled ‘Filling the
Water Tank’.
STEP 5: Plug in and switch on the iron at the mains power supply.

10
STEP 6: Set the temperature control dial to the highest heat setting and allow the iron to
heat up until the temperature indicator light switches off.
STEP 7: Switch off and unplug the iron from the mains power supply.
STEP 8: Remove the iron from the iron stand and carefully hold it over a sink, making
sure that the power supply cord and plug are kept away from the ceramic soleplate.
STEP 9: Press and hold the self-clean button. Hot water and steam will expel from the
steam holes along with any impurities.
STEP 10: After approx. 1 minute or when the water tank is completely empty, release
the self-clean button.
STEP 11: Place the iron onto the iron stand and allow to cool thoroughly.
STEP 12: When the iron has sufciently cooled, wipe it with a soft, damp cloth.
STEP 13: Plug in and switch on the iron at the mains power supply.
STEP 14: Set the temperature control dial to the highest heat setting.
STEP 15: Once the temperature indicator light has switched off, use the iron on an old
piece of fabric to remove any excess water and impurity build-up from in the steam holes.
Note: Water may be ejected from the steam holes whilst the
iron is heating up.
For best results, carry out the self-clean process immediately
after unplugging the iron from the mains power supply.
Caution: Never press the self-clean button when using the iron;
only press it when the iron is switched off and unplugged from
the mains power supply and is safely held over a sink.
Hints and Tips
Always start ironing on a low heat setting and work up to a higher one, if necessary; it
takes less time for the iron to heat up than it does to cool down.
The temperature of the iron is the hottest when it has initially heated up and will
therefore need time to stabilise. Once the iron has heated up, allow the temperature
indicator light to cycle off and on again before using the iron.
Storage
Check that the iron is cool and dry and that the water tank is empty before storing in a
cool, dry place.
Wrap the cord loosely around the iron; never wrap it tightly as this could cause damage.
Troubleshooting
Warning: To reduce the risk of re, electric shock or injury,
switch off and unplug the iron from the mains power supply
before troubleshooting.
