Kraft 31. GB Clearing memorized course and power consumption value
Zum Löschen des eingelernten
Laufweges und der Kraft, zum Beispiel
b
eim Wechsel des Antriebes auf ein
anderes Tor, gehen Sie vor wie folgt:
Stellen Sie alle Dipschalter auf OFF,
dann drücken Sie folgende Tasten
nacheinander:
1 x Drücken Taste FUNK, Funk-LED

For clearing the memorized course and
p
ower consumption value, e. g. in case of
fitting the operator to a different door,
please follow the steps below:
Set all dip-switches to OFF, then press
the following buttons one after the other:
1 x press button “FUNK” (radio), LED
“FUNK” (radio) flashes
2 x press button “IMPULS” (impulse),
LED “FUNK” (radio) flashes three times
1 x press button “FUNK” (radio), LED
“FUNK” (radio) stays switched off.
Clearing process is finished.
32. D Sicherheitsabschaltung 32. GB Switching off in case
emergency
Fährt der Antrieb auf ein Hindernis, so
wird dieses erkannt und freigegeben. In
diesem Fall leuchtet die rote Leuchtdiode
auf der Steuerelektronik. Diese Diode ist
ohne Entfernen der Haube sichtbar. Wird
während der Freigabe des Hindernisses
wieder ein Hindernis angefahren, so
b
leibt der Antrieb stehen und wartet auf
den nächsten Startbefehl.
When the door touches an obstacle, the
operator recognizes it and reverses to set
the obstacle free. In this case the red LED
on the motor control shines. This LED is
visible without removing the cover.
Should the door touch a second obstacle
when it reverses, the operator stops and
remains in that position until a new start
impulse is given

ach erfolgter Montage und Einstellung
des Antriebes kann die Abdeckhaube
wieder aufgesetzt und befestigt werden.
After the fitting and adjustment process is
finished, you can put the cover onto the
operator and fix it.
30. D Notentriegelung 30. GB Emergency Release
Die Notentriegelung von Innen ist
serienmäßig. Ziehen Sie dazu an der
Drahtschlinge die am Hebel des
Laufwagens befestigt ist. Der Antrieb
wird dadurch entriegelt und das Tor kann
wieder von Hand bewegt werden. Wenn
Sie eine Notentriegelung von Außen
montieren, benötigen Sie hierfür optional
die Artikel Nr. 242 oder 247.

Standard feature is an emergency release
system that can be operated from inside
the garage. Pull on the wire loop which is
fixed to the lever of the carriage. Through
this you release the operator and the door
can be moved by hand again. If you want
to install an emergency release system,
that can be operated from outside, you
will need art.-no. 242 or 247. (It depends
on the kind of door.)
CAUTION! While the operator is
released, you must not give any impulse!
Pull the plug out of the socket!
4. D Vorbereiten des Tores 4. GB Preparation of the door
Vor Montagebeginn prüfen Sie bitte, ob
das Garagentor während des gesamten
Bewegungsablaufes leichtgängig und
ruckfrei läuft. Sollte dies nicht der Fall
sein, so treffen Sie geeignete Maßnahmen
oder ziehen Sie Ihren Torlieferanten
hinzu. Je nach Konstruktion und
Einstellung der Federn können beim
Öffnen oder Schließen des Tores höhere
Kräfte wirksam sein. Die Federn müssen
so eingestellt sein, dass sich ein
Schwingtor in einer Höhe von ca. 1,0m
von alleine einschwingt. Das Sektionaltor
muss an jeder Stellung von alleine stehen
b
leiben. Ist dies nicht gewährleistet,
müssen die Federn nachgestellt werden.
Before starting the fitting process, make
sure that the garage door runs smooth and
easy during the whole course. If this is
not the case, take corresponding measures
or consult your door supplier. It depends
on the construction and adjustment of the
springs whether stronger forces act on the
opening or closing movement of the door.
The springs have to be adjusted in a way
that a swing door at a height of about 1 m
is swinging in automatically. A sectional
door has to stop automatically in any
p
osition placed. If this is not the case,
please adjust once more the springs.
5. D Entfernen der Verriegelung 5. GB Removal of locking
Entfernen Sie die vorhandene
Verriegelung am Garagentor. Die
BelFox-Garagentorantriebe sind
selbsthemmend.
Remove existing locking from the garage
door. BelFox garage door openers are
self-locking.

6. D Tormitte ausmessen 6. GB Measuring the middle of the
garage door
Zeichnen Sie die Tormitte an das Tor und
übertragen Sie die Markierung auf dem
Torsturz.
Mark the middle of the door and transfer
the mark to the lintel.
7. D Ermitteln des Höchstpunktes 7. GB Determination of the top point
Öffnen Sie das Tor bis zum höchsten
Punkt seines Laufes und übertragen Sie
diesen auf den Torsturz.
Open the door until it reaches the top

the door lintel.
27. D Schlupftürsicherung 27. GB Access door protection
Ist am Garagentor eine zusätzliche
Schlupftür vorhanden, so muss verhindert
werden, dass der Antrieb bei geöffneter
Tür losläuft. Zu diesem Zweck kann ein
Endschalter an den Schraubklemmen 1 +
2 (Stop) angeschlossen werden
(potentialfreier Öffnerkontakt). Die
vorhandene Drahtbrücke muss in diesem
Fall entfernt werden.
If there is an access door integrated in the
garage door, it must be prevented, that
the operator starts running while the
access door is open. For this purpose it is
p
ossible to connect a limit switch
(potential free break contact) to the
clamps 1+2 (stop). The jumper has to be
removed!
28. D Taster /
Schlüsselschalteranschluss 28. GB Connection of push button / key switch

eben der Funkanlage kann der
Garagentorantrieb auch über Taster,
Schlüsseltaster oder Codierschalter
angesteuert werden. Der potentialfreie
Anschluss erfolgt über die
Schraubklemmen 3 + 4 (Impuls).

26. D Warnlicht, Vorwarnfunktion 26. GB Warning signal, prior warning
function
Optional kann die Motorsteuerung des
Antriebes mit einem Relais für ein
Warnlicht bestückt sein. In diesem Fall
können Sie ein externes Warnlicht direkt
an den Klemmen 1 + 2 anklemmen. Es
muss eine Leuchte mit 230 V AC
angeschlossen werden. Stellen Sie für
diese Betriebsart den Dipschalter 5 au
f
ON. Nach Befehlsgabe stehen direkt
230V an, nach ca. 5 Sekunden läuft der
Antrieb los. Die Leuchte ist so lange
aktiviert bis die Endstellung erreicht ist.
Wird während der 5 Sekunden
Vorwarnzeit ein weiterer Befehl gegeben,
so wird die Vorwarnung beendet und kein
Torlauf ausgeführt. Ein weiterer Befehl
startet den Vorgang von vorne.
Optionally a relay for a warning light can
b
e addedto the motor control. In this case
you can connect an external warning light
directly to the clamps 1+2. It must be a
light with 230 V AC. For this mode, set
dip-switch 5 to ON. As soon as an
impulse is given, a voltage of 230 V is
available. After about 5 seconds the
operator starts running. Light is active
until the limit stop is reached. If you give
a further impulse during the prior
warning period of five seconds, the

will be carried out. An additional impulse
starts the procedure from the beginning.
8. D Zusammenbau des Antriebes
(falls nicht vormontiert) 8. GB Assembly of the operator (if not pre-assembled)
Entfernen Sie die vier
Befestigungsschrauben aus der
Motorhalteplatte und nehmen den Motor
mit der Platte vom Geräteträger ab.
Remove the four fastening screws of the
motor fixing plate and separate the motor
and the plate from the operator carrier.
Schieben Sie die Antriebsschiene in die
dafür vorgesehenen Profile des
Geräteträgers bis zum Anschlag hinein
und verlegen dann die Kabel der
Reedkontakte zur Motorsteuerung.
Insert the rail in the corresponding
p
rofiles of the carrier until it reaches the
stop and lay the cables of the reed
contacts towards the motor control.

Setzen Sie den Motor auf und lassen die
Verzahnung der Motorwelle in das
Antriebsritzel einrasten. Nun wird der
Motor mit dem Motorhalteblech
verschraubt. Verbinden Sie die Stecker
der Endschalterkabel mit den
entsprechenden Anschlüssen auf der
Steuerplatine. Rechtes Kabel auf rechten
Stecker, linkes Kabel auf linken Stecker.
Place the motor onto the plate and make
sure that the toothed wheels of the motor
shaft fits into the pinion. Now fasten the
motor on the motor plate with the screws.
Connect the plugs of the limit switches to
the corresponding connections on the
control board. Attach right wire on the
right plug, left wire on the left plug.
9. D Sturwinkel befestigen 9. GB Fitting lintel angle
Halten Sie den Sturwinkel ca. 50-100mm
über dem markierten Höchstpunkt an und
kennzeichnen die Bohrungen. Bohren Sie
nun die Löcher Ø 10mm und setzen die
Dübel ein. Nun befestigen Sie den
Sturzwinkel mit den 8er
Schlossschrauben (Bei wenig Sturzhöhe
kann die Befestigung auch an der Decke
erfolgen).
Lift the operator at its front end and place
it approximately 5-100 mm above the
marked top point. Mark the borings. Drill
the holes (Ø 10 mm) and insert the
dowels. Now fasten the lintel angle
(fixation can also be made on the ceiling
if the height of the lintel is not too high).
Hauptschließkante
In der Regel wird Ihr Garagentor nur über
diese Hauptschließkante verfügen, es ist
die untere Schließkante des Tores zu der
der Fußboden die Gegenschließkante
b
ildet. Diese Kontaktleiste schließen Sie
an den Klemmen 17 + 18 an. Den
Schalter 1 auf dem blauen Schalterblock
schalten Sie auf ON. Vor Anschluss der
Kontaktleisten die Drahtbrücke
entfernen!!
Nebenschließkante
In Ausnahmefällen entsteht beim Betrieb
eines Garagentores auch eine oder
mehrere Nebenschließkanten. Die
Kontaktleiste oder mehrere Leisten
können Sie an den Klemmen 15 + 16
anschließen. Den Schalter 2 auf dem
b
lauen Schalterblock schalten Sie auf
ON.
Vor Anschluss der Kontaktleisten die
Drahtbrücke entfernen!!
Main closing edge
N
ormally your door will just have one
main closing edge: the lower edge of the
door which closes against the floor.
Connect the safety contact ledge at this
edge to the clamps 17+18. Set switch-no.
1 on the blue switch panel to ON.
Remove jumper before connecting the
safety contact ledges!
Secondary closing edges
In exceptional cases there can be one or
more secondary closing edges when a
garage door opener is used. You can
connect the safety contact ledge or
several safety contact ledges for such
edges to the clamps 15+16. Set the
switch-no. 2 on the blue switch panel to
ON. Remove jumper before connecting
the safety contact ledges!

24. D Anschluss Lichtschranke 24. GB Connection of light barrier
An den Klemmen 17 und 18 können eine
oder mehrere Lichtschranken mit einem
p
otentialfreien Öffnerkontakt
angeklemmt werden. Wird die
Lichtschranke während des
Schließvorganges unterbrochen, so stoppt
der Antrieb und fährt in Endlage AUF.
Während der Ruhelage des Tores und des
Öffnungsvorganges hat die Lichtschranke
keine Funktion. In dieser Betriebsart
muss der Schalter 1 des blauen
Schalterblocks auf OFF stehen. Vor dem
Anschluss des Lichtschrankenkontaktes
die Drahtbrücke entfernen!!

25. D Anschluss
Sicherheitskontaktleiste 25. GB Connection of safety contact ledge
Die Motorsteuerung hat serienmäßig
Anschlüsse und Auswerter für
Sicherheitskontaktleisten mit 8,2
Kiloohm-System integriert. Sie können
auch Kontaktleisten und Lichtschranken
gleichzeitig betreiben, dazu schalten Sie
die Sicherheitselemente potentialfrei in
Reihe und schalten Sie die Schalter am
blauen Schalterblock, wie nachstehend
beschrieben an.
Standard features of the motor control are

10. D Befestigung Antrieb am
Sturzwinkel 10. GB Fitting the operator on lintel angle
Stecken Sie das vorderste Ende der
Schiene in den Sturzwinkel und
verschrauben sie beide Enden mit den
Gewindeschrauben M8 x 20mm
untereinander. Schieben Sie nun auf jeder
Seite eine Schraube in das Profil der
Schiene für die spätere Decken-
befestigung.
Put the front part of the rail into the lintel

mm. Put a screw M 8 x 20 on each side o

on the ceiling.
11. D Befestigung des Antriebskopfes 11. GB Fitting the operating head
Heben Sie den Antrieb hinten an und
öffnen Sie das Tor. Richten Sie den
Antrieb hinten mittig aus (Markierung am
Tor). Befestigen Sie die Abhängung an
der Schiene und übertragen die
Bohrlöcher auf die Decke. Befestigen Sie
nun den Antrieb an der Decke.
Raise the back end of the operator and
open the door. Centre the operator at the

ack (take note of the marks at the door).

ow screw the fixing parts on the rail and
transmit the bore holes to the ceiling. Fix
the operator on the ceiling.

12. D Montage des Torbeschlages 12. GB Fitting the door mounting
Verschrauben Sie den Torwinkel in der
Mitte des Tores mittels den beiliegenden
Blechschrauben 6,3 x 19mm am oberen
Querrahmen. (Leichte Blechrahmen
werden am besten durchbohrt und mit
Gewindeschrauben verschraubt).
Befestigen Sie nun die Schubstange des
Antriebes am Torwinkel.
Fix the door mounting by means of the

rovided metal screws 6,3 x 19 mm to the
upper frame in the middle of the door. (I
f
your garage door has a light metal frame,
it is best to drill through it and screw it
with thread screws). Now fix the push-
b
ar
to the door mounting.
13. D Einstellen der Endschalter 13. GB Adjustment of the limit switches
Der Antrieb ist mit zwei Reedkontakten
für Stellung ZU (vorne) und AUF
(hinten) ausgerüstet.
Gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
Stecken Sie den Stecker des Antriebes in
die Steckdose damit die Leuchtanzeige in
den Reedkontakten leuchtet. Entriegeln
Sie den Antrieb und Schieben das Tor mit
Schlitten per Hand in die Endlage ZU.
(NICHT ÜBER MOTOR LAUFEN
LASSEN). Lösen Sie die
Arretierschraube des vorderen
Reedkontaktes und schieben ihn in
Richtung Antriebskopf bis die
Leuchtanzeige (rote LED) erlischt.
Arretieren Sie den Reedkontakt. Schieben
Sie nun per Hand den Antrieb in die
gewünschte Stellung AUF, lösen Sie die
Arretierschraube des hinteren Reed-
The operator is equipped with two reed
contacts. The front switch activates the
limit stop at the end of the closing course.
The back switch initiates limit stop at the
end of the opening course.
Proceed as follows:
Connect the plug of the operator to the
socket in order to activate the LED´s o
f
the reed contacts. Unlock the operator on
the rail and push the door manually
towards position CLOSED.
(DO NOT MOVE THE OPERATOR
BY MEANS OF THE MOTOR)
Loosen the locking screws of the front
switch and push it towards the operator
head until the red LED switches off.

Die gezielte Ansteuerung der Lauf-
richtungen AUF und ZU im Totmann-
betrieb kann mittels potentialfreien Be-
fehlsgeräten mit Schließerkontakt an den
Klemmen 3 + 4 (ZU) und 4 + 5 (AUF)
vorgenommen werden. Der Torlauf
erfolgt in die gewünschte Richtung,
solange der Befehl ansteht bzw. bis der
entsprechende Endschalter erreicht ist.
Um diese Funktion zu erhalten, müssen
die Dipschalter 7 und 8 auf ON stehen.
Im Totmannbetrieb hat die Funkfern-
steuerung keine Funktion.

Die gezielte Ansteuerung der Lauf-
richtungen AUF und ZU kann mittels
potentialfreien Befehlsgeräten mit
Schließerkontakt an den Klemmen 3 + 4
(ZU) und 4 + 5 (AUF) vorgenommen
werden. Mit einem kurzen Befehl wird
die entsprechende Laufrichtung ange-
steuert, das Tor fährt bis in die
entsprechende Endlage. Die Funkfern-
steuerung bleibt in der Funktionsfolge
auf, Stopp, zu ... erhalten. Um diese
Funktion zu erhalten, muss der
Dipschalter 7 auf ON stehen.

In dieser Betriebsart kann das Tor mit
Taster, Schlüsseltaster usw.
ausschließlich geöffnet werden, die
Schließung erfolgt immer automatisch.
Bei diesem Automatikbetrieb empfehlen
wir den Einsatz einer Lichtschranke. Zur
Programmierung der Offenhaltezeit
fahren Sie das Tor aus der Stellung ZU in
die Stellung AUF, warten Sie die
gewünschte Offenhaltezeit (max. 3 min.)
ab und schieben dann den Dipschalter 3
in die Stellung ON. Bevor das Tor
schließt, blinkt als Vorwarnung die
integrierte Beleuchtung des Antriebes.
Steht das Tor in Endstellung AUF und es
wird ein Bedienimpuls gegeben, so läuft
die Offenhaltezeit von vorne ab. Fährt
das Tor beim Zulauf gegen ein Hindernis

HANDSENDER:
Öffnen Sie den Handsender und stellen
Sie mit den Codierschaltern 1-10 Ihren

ersönlichen Code ein. Es sollten vier
Schalter auf ON stehen und keine
Abstandsgleiche Codierung (z.b. 2, 4, 6,
8) haben.
Alternativ: In den beschriftbaren
Handsendern besteht zusätzlich die
Möglichkeit zwei Festcodes einzustellen.
Hierzu müssen Sie alle Schalter auf OFF
oder ON stellen. Bei dem Betrieb mit
mehreren Handsendern können Sie die
Schalter-stellung „alle OFF“ oder „alle
ON“ mischen. Da jeder Sender einen
anderen Code besitzt, müssen alle Sender
eingelernt werden.

nun innerhalb von 15 Sekunden die Taste
des Handsenders (Bei Mehrkanal-
handsendern die gewünschte Taste)
solange, bis die gelbe Diode dauerhaft
leuchtet.
Somit ist die Codierung eingelernt!

Klemmen 4 +5 (TÖ) auf der Platine an.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Dipschalter 7
und 8 auf OFF stehen.
Fahren Sie das Tor in Endstellung ZU.
Danach fahren Sie das Tor per Impuls in
die gewünschte Teilöffnungsstellung und
schieben Sie den Dipschalter 4 in die
Stellung ON, die Teilöffnung ist
eingelernt. Wahlweise kann die
Teilöffnung auch mit dem zweiten Knop

des Handsenders aktiviert werden:
Drücken Sie dazu auf der Motorsteuerung
den Taster FUNK für ca. eine halbe
