The pocket-sized Wireless 802.11g Travel Router from Belkin lets you wirelessly
share your hotel’s broadband access, even if it is provided through a hardwired
Ethernet connection. With this being the case with Internet access in most hotels
and conference rooms, the Travel Router becomes an indispensable tool that
gives you wireless freedom and flexibility. It seamlessly lets you share a broadband
Internet connection and files with multiple computers, so you and your colleagues
can be more productive on the road.
Along with the flexibility to work better on the road, this solution gives you the
peace of mind only advanced security features can provide. The Wireless 802.11g
Travel Router supports Wi-Fi® Protected Access (WPA) technology and 64-/128-bit
Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) encryption to protect your data from hackers and
network intruders.
Featuring 802.11g technology, network security, and multifunctional capabilities,
the Travel Router offers you a wide working range—up to 65 metres—and
greater interoperability in mixed networking environments. 802.11g technology is
backward-compatible with the 802.11b Wi-Fi® networking standard.
The Travel Router can also be used as a wireless adapter or an access point. As
an adapter, it adds wireless capabilities to a computer so you can use it to connect
to Wi-Fi hotspots. In access point mode, the Travel Router expands the coverage
area of an existing network.
