The Belkin N1 MIMO Wireless Modem-Router is equipped with an ADSL2+ modem,
allowing you to receive up to 24Mbs speeds on ADSL2+ enabled broadband
connections, the built-in wired switch and wireless access point also allows you
to share your ADSL broadband Internet access between multiple notebooks and
desktops. The Modem-Router also lets your computers quickly and efficiently
exchange documents, share resources and distribute large video and music files
throughout your network at a link rate of up to 300Mbps.***
Our advanced security protects both your wireless and wired computers from
hackers and intruders. You can add up to 32 computers to your wireless network with
additional notebook and desktop adapters.
For maximum wireless performance, use the Belkin N1 Modem-Router with N1
Notebook and Desktop Cards connecting your client computers.

What is N1 Wireless?
Based on the 802.11n draft, N1 Wireless enables multiple receivers and transmitters
to send and receive data through the air, using Intelligent MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple
Output) spatial multiplexing techniques. This smart-antenna technology builds upon
the widely deployed 802.11g standard by increasing speed, coverage and reliability
of wireless systems. Providing greater range and faster speeds, N1 Wireless offers a
quick and efficient way for people to distribute video, music, photos and files amongst
the networked computers in their homes.
Network Security
Belkin has included best-in-class security features in this wireless networking product:
Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA2) provides enhanced encryption, while Media Access
Control (MAC) address filters ensure that you can define which computer gains access
to your network. Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) and Network Address Translation
(NAT) double your Firewall and safeguard your network from Internet intruders.

Belkin incorporates all mandatory
elements of the IEEE 802.11n draft
specification and designs the software
to be upgradeable once the standard
is finalised, Belkin cannot guarantee
upgradeability.

will vary depending on interference,
network traffic, building materials, and
other conditions. Range and speed is
determined using a Belkin N1 Wireless

N1 Wireless Desktop Card (F5D8001au).
