
a.Use a 1/2” dowel or finger to puncture holes in
tunnels. Mark holes with lawn flags. Be careful not to
crush runway.
b. Revisit after 24 hours. Sealed holes indicate ole
activity.
a. Use heel to create 1” indentation for trigger in iddle
of active tunnel.
b. Built in Depth Gauge should fit in indentation to
confir correct depth.
c. Use trap jaws to ark tunnel on each side of the
indentation ade for trigger.
d. Use lawn edger or square spade to cut and widen
slots across tunnel for easy insertion of trap.
a. Insert t ap jaws into slots.
b. Step straight down on end of yellow foot pedal.
Be careful not to cover slot in foot pedal.
c. Work foot pedal down until trigger post co es
through slot.
d. Use foot or finger to press trigger post flush with
foot pedal. The trap is now set.
TIP 1: If trap will not set check that indentation ade
in Step 2a has not filled in.
TIP 2: If trap will not set after several atte pts ove to
a new location and repeat steps 2 and 3.
a. A raised foot pedal indicates a capture.
b. Set trap on bucket and release ole by co pressing
pedal with hands.
If t ap has not t igge ed afte 24 to 48 hou s, t ap may be moved
to a new location. Place foot lightly on pedal and use dowel to
p ess the safety elease button. T ap will sp ing upwa ds when
latch is eleased. Remove t ap and move to anothe active
unway, epeating steps 2 and 3 to eset t ap.
