PART 2: INSTALLING THE VERTICAL TELEVISION BARS
2-1. With the help of an assistant, and taking extreme
caution not to damage the front of your television, lay
the TV face-down on a flat, level, and very soft surface.
You may want to use soft blankets or towels to cushion
the face of the TV. Make sure the outer frame of the
television is supported, and that no pressure is applied
to the screen of the TV.
2-2. Locate the mounting holes on the back of your TV.
Place the Vertical Plastic Interior Bars (A3) over the
mounting holes in your TV as shown in Fig. 20 and
center vertically. If mounting the soundbar ABOVE the
TV, the small round bumps on the Plastic Interior bars
should be on the left side of both bars. If mounting
your soundbar BELOW the TV, they should be on the
right side.
2-3. If mounting the soundbar BELOW the TV, place the
Vertical Metal Exterior Bars (A2) over the Vertical
Plastic Interior Bars (A3) with the protruding screws
toward the bottom as shown in Fig. 21. If mounting
ABOVE, place the Metal Bars with the screws toward
the top of the TV as shown in Fig. 22.
2-4. Select from the included hardware kit (Silver) the best
Washers and Screws to fit your model television's
mounting holes. You may need to try several to find the
right fit. Make sure the Screw you select fully inserts
through both vertical arms and into the hole. If it does
not go in all the way, select a slightly shorter Screw
from the hardware kit. (Fig. 23)
2-5. Insert the four Screws with Washers through the
Interior (A3) and Exterior (A2) Bars and partially screw
into the mounting holes on the back of your television
as shown in Fig. 23. Do not yet fully tighten, allow the
Vertical Metal Exterior Bars (A2) to slide up and down
the TV as needed to find the correct fit later.

FOR LARGE SIZE TELEVISIONS:
If your television is very large, you may need to extend
the Vertical Metal Exterior Bars (A2) quite a distance
from the mounting holes in your TV.
2-6. Extend the Vertical Metal Exterior Bars (A2) as far as
you need to in order to accomodate your soundbar and
TV, however MAKESURE you leave at least two
holes past the TV mounting screw as shown in Fig. 24.
This will allow enough support to safely hold your
soundbar in place.
N TE: D N T attempt to mount the Vertical Metal
Exterior Bars (A2) with LESS THAN TW holes past
your mounting point, as shown in Figs. 24 & 25.
This amount of space is required to safely support
the weight of the soundbar.
2-7. In cases in which in you need to extend the Vertical
Metal Exterior Bars (A2) to accommodate a large TV,
you will need to add an additional Washer (R or S) to
the TV mounting holes that are not covered by the
Vertical Metal Exterior Bars (A2). See Fig. 26.
This extra Washer will fill the space between the
Vertical Mounting Bars (A2 & A3) and your wall
mount or pole mounting system to ensure a safe
and even installation:

PART 3: INSTALLING THE SOUNDBAR
3-1. Attach the Horizontal Support Plate (A1) to the
protruding screws of the Vertical Metal Exterior Bars
(A2) and secure using two M8 Washers (SB) and two
M8 Nuts (AF). Make sure it is even and parallel with
the frame of the TV, then tighten fully. (Figs. 27 & 28).
3-2. With the help of an assistant to hold the soundbar in
place, attach the soundbar to the Universal Soundbar
Mount as you did in Part 1. Make sure the soundbar is
securely attached and positioned correctly in relation
to the television. Make all necessary adjustments.
3-3. Fully tighten all four Silver Mounting Screws in the
Vertical Bars (A2, A3) from Steps 2-4 and 2-5.
3-4. Mount the TV with the installed Universal Soundbar
Mount on to your wall mount or post mount furniture
according to the specifications of that manufacturer.
N TE: To prevent damage, it is recommended that you
REM VE your soundbar from the Universal Soundbar
Mount while you mount your TV. If your soundbar is
screw mounted, as shown on the bottom of page 7,
you may need to mount to the TV with the soundbar
already attached. In this case, please use 2 or more
people to lift the TV with attached soundbar. Make
sure the TV and soundbar are always supported to
avoid unintended damage from falling.
