oil).Theprimary
harness
is
prewired
totheoil
burner
and
consists
of
1-fan
limit,
1-blocked
flue
sensor,
1-transformer,
1-relay,
1-J
boxand
cover.

to
have
a

CHIMNEY
AND
SMOKE
PIPE
The
specification
ofthe
chimney
tobe
used,mustcomplywith
the
requirement
that,
otherthansolid-
fuel/oil
combinations
and
add-ons,woodburningappliancesshall
notbe
connected
toa
ventingsystem
serving
an
appliancevented
by
anothertype
of
fuel.

be

capable

maintaining

times

conditions.Carefullyinspect
the
chimney
for
safety
and
dirt
beforemakingconnections.Place
the
furnace
as
close
tothe
chimney
as
possible.
The
smokepipeshould
be
blue
or
black
steel,
24ga.or
heavier.
Useasfew
turns
as
possiblebetween
the
furnace
andthe
chimney,
as
each
90°
elbowadds
10'
of
restriction
anda 45°
elbowadds
5'
of
restriction.
The
barometricdampershould
be7"
diameter
andsetat

to
open.Install
the
barometricdamper
a
minimum
of18"anda
maximum
of24"
from
the
furnace
breech.
Avoidlong
horizontalruns
of
smokepipe.Maintain
a
minimum
of
Yt"
rise
per
foot
of
pipe
from
the
furnace
tothe
chimney.
DONOTrunthe
pipedownhillfrom
the
furnace
tothe
chimney.Confirmthat
the
installation
clearances
aremetor
exceeded.
All
pipejointsshould
fit
relatively
gas
tight.
Secure
all
smokepipe
jointswiththreesheetmetalscrews
in
eachjoint.
DO
NOT
pass
the
smokepipesthrough
a
wall,floor
or
ceiling
to
reach
the
chimney.Remove
the
smokepipe
from
the
furnace
and
cleanmonthly
oras
necessary.
