CARE AND CLEANING
To clean your Misting Fan, first disconnect the power cord from the mains. Remove the Front Guard
and the blades, taking care not to drop the blades. First use a soft cloth with a mild detergent to
clean off oil stains, then wipe thoroughly with a dry cloth. Never use polish or any corrosive liquid
that will damage the paint, metal or plastic. Replace the blades and lock the guard securely before
use.
Never spray with liquids or submerge the Misting Fan in water or any other liquid.
Do not fill the water tank with water over 45°C, to avoid discoloration or deformation.
For regular maintenance, remove Mist Generator Body cover (as shown below) by unscrewing the
4 screws and gently clean the white mist release ports (as shown below) every 60 days (based on
heavy use) with a wet cloth.
When ambient temperature is near or below 0°C, remove all water from in and around the tank to
prevent ice forming, which could damage components.
Do not fill water anywhere other than the water tank. Mop up any spills immediately.
WARNING: Unplug from electrical supply source before cleaning or filling / emptying the water
tank. After servicing, any safety device (including grilles and blades) must be reinstalled or remount-
ed as previously installed.
USING THE COOL MIST FUNCTION
The Cool Mist function may only be used with the fan blades in operation.
Before using the Cool Mist function check that there is sufficient water in the Water Tank. Turn the
fan blades on first. Then turn on the misting function. When the water runs out, the self-protect
mechanism engages and the mist generator will switch off. The lights on the Mist Generator Body
will turn red.
