The Beresford TC-7220 MKII
Stereo Amplifier and Speaker Router
REV1.2 instructions
This state of the art audio signal router allows you to select between or control two amplifiers or
speakers in 2 different rooms or locations. The combined screw, banana plug, or bare wire terminals
on the switch box allow secure and easy access for cables.
Product Features
 Listen to amplifier A or B through one pair of speakers
 Listen to Speakers pair A or B from one amplifier
Connections
Caution: Be sure to follow proper polarity (– to – and + to +) when making connections.
1. Connect amplifier A left speaker output terminals to the TC-7220 MKII AMPLIFIER A L (left)
negative (–) and positive (+) terminals.
2. Connect the amplifier's right speaker output terminals to the AMP R (right) negative (–) and
positive (+) terminals.
3. Connect the first speaker system's left and right negative (–) and positive (+) terminals to the
corresponding speaker A Right and Left terminals on the TC-7220 MKII.
4. Connect the second speaker system's left and right negative (–) and positive (+) terminals to the
corresponding SPK B R and L terminals on the TC-7220 MKII.

OPERATION
1 Make sure that each audio amplifier is switched OFF, or that the speakers’ output selector
on the amplifiers is in the OFF position.
2 Press and select Amplifier A or B on the TC-7220 MKII front panel, depending on which
amplifier you wish to listen to.
3 Press and select Speaker A or B on the TC-7220 MKII front panel, depending on which
speaker pair you wish to listen to.
4 Now switch ON the amplifier(s).
SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS
- Do not leave the amplifier that is not playing in the ON position. It is best to switch the
unused amplifier OFF.
- Do not switch between two amplifiers or speakers whilst there is music playing through
them that can also be heard through any of the speakers. This could otherwise trigger the
protection circuit in some amplifiers into assuming that there is a faulty connection, and
shut down the amplifier.
