Application
The BERNINA embroidery hoop allows precise embroidering of large embroidery
motifs without re-hooping the material.
The embroidery hoop is accompanied with an embroidery template where the
embroidery area is marked in 1cm squares. Various punch holes are helpful to
transfer markings or corner points onto the material.
For your safety
> Make sure that you read the instruction manuals of the embroidery machine as
well as of this accessory carefully before use!
Calibrating the embroidery hoop
If the needle position and the center of the embroidery hoop do not corres-
pond, the embroidery hoop has to be calibrated in the setup program of the
embroidery machine.
You will nd detailed instruction hereto in the instruction manual of your emb-
roidery machine.

Selecting your embroidery motif
> Choose an embroidery motif, endless
embroidery or a combination of mo-
tifs.
Fixing the stabilizer on the fabric
> Select the stabilizer suitable for fabric
and embroidery motif.
> Tip: For light, soft and loosely woven
fabric additionally use spray starch
(1).
> To achieve an optimal stability, spray
soluble adhesive on the stabilizer.
> Place the fabric on the stabilizer.
Marking the position of the
embroidery motif
> Mark the center of the embroidery
motif with chalk or a marking pencil
on the fabric (2).
> While positioning, be aware that the
fabric needs to overlap the embroi-
dery hoop at 5 cm on every side.
Preparing the embroidery hoop
> Attach the template holders to the
embroidery template (3).
> Place the embroidery template into
the inner hoop (4).

> Press the release buttons beneath
the rotary lock against each other (5).
– The interlocking releases.
> Remove the outer hoop.
Hooping the fabric
> Place the inner hoop with the embro-
idery template onto the fabric. Make
sure that the center of the motif and
the center of the template lie exactly
on top of each other.
> Put the fabric and the inner hoop
into the outer hoop (6). Please be
careful that the fabric does not get
deformed.
> Make sure that the arrow markings
match (7).
> Turn the rotary lock so that the
hooped fabric is held slightly.
> Stretch the fabric and the stabilizer
evenly in the hoop.
> Turn the rotary lock in direction of
the arrow until the embroidery hoop
locks completely with a hearable
click.
> Remove the embroidery template.

Mode of operation
Attaching the embroidery hoop
> Hold the embroidery hoop at the at-
taching mechanism and pass under
the presser foot. (8).
> Squeeze the both ends of the atta-
ching mechanism against each other.
> Position the embroidery hoop above
the attaching mechanism and push
down.
> After the embroidery hoop has en-
gaged, release the ends of the atta-
ching mechanism.
Embroidering
> Open the desired embroidery motif
and make the necessary adjustments.
> Start the embroidery process.
Removing the embroidery hoop
> Squeeze both ends of the attaching
mechanism against each other.
> Remove the embroidery hoop.
Finishing and cleaning
> Squeeze both ends of the attaching
mechanism against each other.
> Remove the fabric.
> Remove adhesive residues on the
hoop using cleaning spray if neces-
sary.

Anwendung
Der BERNINA Stickrahmen ermöglicht präzises Arbeiten mit grossen Stickmus-
tern, ohne das der Stoff im Stickrahmen umgespannt werden muss.
Dem Stickrahmen liegt eine Stickschablone bei, worauf der Stickbereich in Quad-
ratzentimetern markiert ist. Diverse Stanzlöcher sind hilfreich, um Markierungen
oder Eckpunkte auf den Stoff zu übertragen.

> Vor Gebrauch des Zubehörs die Bedienungsanleitung der Stickmaschine und
dieses Zubehörs sorgfältig lesen!
Stickrahmen justieren
Stimmen Nadelposition und Stickrahmenmitte nicht überein, muss der Stickrah-
men im Setup-Programm der Stickmaschine justiert werden.
Eine detaillierte Anleitung hierzu nden Sie in der Bedienungsanleitung ihrer
Stickmaschine.

Stickdesign wählen
> Stickmotiv, Bordüre oder Muster-
kombination wählen.
Stoff und Stickvlies fixieren
> Stickvlies passend zum Stoff und
Stickmuster verwenden.
> Tipp: Leichte, weiche und locker ge-
wobene Stoffe zusätzlich mit Stär-
kespray behandeln/einsprühen (1).
Um eine optimale Stabilität zu errei-
chen, Stickvlies mit einem löslichen
Sprühkleber besprühen.
> Stoff auf Stickvlies legen.
Stickmusterposition markieren
> Stickmustermitte mit Kreide oder
Markierstift auf dem Stoff bezeich-
nen (2).
> Bei der Positionierung beachten, dass
der Stoff den Stickrahmen auf allen
Seiten mindestens 5 cm überlappen
muss.
Stickrahmen vorbereiten
> Stickschablonen-Halterungen an der
Stickschablone anbringen (3).
> Stickschablone in den Innenrahmen
setzen (4).

> Entriegelungstasten unterhalb des
Drehverschlusses zusammendrücken
(5).
– Die Verriegelung löst sich.
> Aussenrahmen entfernen.
Stoff einspannen
> Innenrahmen mit Stickschablone auf
den Stoff legen. Dabei müssen Stick-
mustermitte und Schablonenmitte
direkt übereinander liegen.
> Stoff und Innenrahmen in den Aus-
senrahmen legen (6). Dabei darauf
achten, dass sich der Stoff nicht ver-
zieht.
> Sicherstellen, dass die Pfeilmarkie-
rungen aufeinander treffen (7).
> Stickrahmen mit Drehverschluss vor-
spannen, bis das eingespannte Mate-
rial leicht gehalten wird.
> Stoff und Stickvlies gleichmässig im
Stickrahmen straff ziehen.
> Drehverschluss in Pfeilrichtung dre-
hen, bis sich der Stickrahmen, mit
einem deutlich hörbaren Klicken voll-
ständig schliesst.
> Stickschablone entfernen.

Stickrahmen befestigen
> Stickrahmen an der Stickrahmen-
Kupplung halten und unter dem
Nähfuss einfahren (8).
> Drucktasten der Stickrahmen-Kupp-
lung zusammendrücken.
> Stickrahmen über der Stickarm-
Kupplung positionieren und nach
unten drücken.
> Nach dem Einrasten der Stickrahmen
Kupplung Drucktasten lösen.
Sticken
> Stickmuster an der Stickmaschine
öffnen und gewünschte Anpassun-
gen vornehmen.
> Stickvorgang starten.
Stickrahmen entfernen

Application
Le cadre de broderie BERNINA permet de broder confortablement de très grands
motifs de broderie sans devoir retendre le tissu dans le cadre.
Le cadre de broderie est accompagné d’un gabarit de broderie qui divise le sec-
teur de broderie en centimètres carrés. Les divers trous offrent une précieuse aide
pour le marquage ou pour reporter des points de délimitation sur le tissu.

> Avant d‘utiliser cet accessoire veuillez lire attentivement les directives d‘emploi
de la machine à broder et de cet accessoire!
Calibrer le cadre de broderie
Si la position de l’aiguille et le centre du cadre de broderie ne correspondent
pas, le cadre de broderie doit être calibré dans le programme Setup.
Vous trouverez des directives détaillées dans les directives d’emploi de votre
machine à broder.

Choisir le motif de broderie
> Choisir le motif de broderie, la bordu-
re ou la combinaison de motifs.
Fixer le tissu et le non tissé de
broderie
> Choisir le non tissé de broderie ad-
apté au tissu et au motif de broderie
sélectionnés.
> Astuce: renforcer les tissus ns et
uides avec de l‘amidon en vaporisa-
teur (1).
> Vaporiser le non tissé de broderie de
colle pour textile fugace en vapori-
sateur pour renforcer la stabilité de
l‘ouvrage
> Poser le tissu sur le non tissé de bro-
derie.
Marquer la position du motif de
broderie
> Dessiner le centre du motif de bro-
derie sur le tissu à la craie ou avec un
stylo pour textile (2).
> Placer le tissu et veiller à ce qu‘il dé-
passe d’au moins 5 cm tout autour
du cadre de broderie.
Préparer le cadre de broderie
> Fixer les supports du gabarit de bro-
derie sur le gabarit (3).
> Poser le gabarit de broderie sur le
cadre intérieur (4).

> Presser les touches de déverrouillage
sous le bouton (5).
– Le verrouillage se libère.
> Retirer le cadre extérieur.
Tendre le tissu
> Poser le cadre intérieur avec le gaba-
rit de broderie sur le tissu. Le centre
du motif de broderie et du gabarit
doivent coïncider.
> Poser le tissu et le cadre intérieur
dans le cadre extérieur (6). Veiller à
ne pas déplacer le tissu.
> S’assurer que les èches de marqua-
ge soient parfaitement superposées
(7).
> Prétendre le cadre de broderie avec
le bouton jusqu’à ce que le tissu soit
légèrement xé.
> Tendre parfaitement dans le cadre le
tissu et le non tissé.
> Tourner le bouton dans le sens de la
èche jusqu’à entendre un clic (fer-
meture complète).
> Retirer le gabarit de broderie.

> Saisir l’embrayage du cadre de bro-
derie et le glisser sous le pied-de-
biche (8).
> Presser les boutons poussoirs de
l’embrayage du cadre de broderie.
> Placer le cadre de broderie par-dessus
l’embrayage du bras de broderie et
appuyer vers le bas.
> Après son encliquetage, relâcher les
boutons poussoirs.
Broder
> Ouvrir le motif de broderie enregistré
dans la machine à broder et entre-
prendre les modications souhaitées.
> Commencer la broderie.
Retirer le cadre de broderie
> Presser les boutons poussoirs de
l’embrayage du cadre de broderie.
> Retirer le cadre de broderie.
Terminer et nettoyer
> Presser les touches de déverrouillage
du cadre de broderie.
> Retirer le tissu.
> Retirer les résidus de colle sur le cadre
de broderie avec un spray nettoyant.
