1. Sicherheitshinweise / Safety instructions / Avertissements

1.1 Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
- Das Tragsystem ist zur Anbindung von gekapselten IPCs und Steuergehäusen bestimmt,
dabei kann es stehend oder hängend angebunden werden.
- Das Tragsystem darf nur mit Anbindungen des Tragsystems CS-3000 der BERNSTEIN AG befestigt werden
und ist für den industriellen Einsatz vorgesehen.
- Positionierung von Kupplungskomponenten sind nur mittig und nicht einseitig zulässig.
- Interne Durchführungsquerschnitte mit und ohne Steckverbinder sind auf S.12 zu entnehmen.
- Maximale Belastungen sind dem Diagramm auf S.10 zu entnehmen
- Weitere Tragsystemspezifikationen sind den jeweiligen gültigen techn. Datenblättern zu entnehmen.
- Fehlerhafter oder unzulässiger Einsatz sowie Nichtbeachten der Hinweise dieser
Anleitung schließen eine Gewährleistung aus.
- Die Benutzung der Kupplung als Standfuß ist nicht zulässig.
- Eine waagerechte Ausrichtung der Längsachse der Komponenten ist nicht zulässig
- Es wird darauf hingewiesen, dass bei der Produktion weitgehend auf LABS-Stoffe verzichtet wird,
jedoch eine 100prozentige LABS-Freiheit nicht gewährt werden kann.
1.1 Intended use
- The suspension system is designed to connect encapsulated IPCs and control enclosures, whereby it can be
attached upright or suspended.
- The suspension system may only be fastened with connections of the CS-3000 suspension system by
BERNSTEIN AG and is intended for industrial use.
- Coupling components may only be positioned in the centre and not on one side.
- Internal feed-through cross-sections with and without connectors can be found on page 12.
- Refer to the diagram on p.10 for the maximum loads
- Refer to the respective valid techn. datasheets for other suspension system specifications.
- Incorrect or impermissible use and non-compliance with the notes in these instructions will void any warranty.
- It is not permitted to use the coupling as a base.
- Horizontal alignment of the longitudinal axis of the components is not permitted.
- It is noted that LABS substances are largely omitted in the production process,
but a 100 % exemption from LABS cannot be granted.

Gebrauch:
-In den Kapiteln werden jeweils Piktogramme gezeigt (siehe „Zuordnung der Produkte“), für die der Montageschritt gilt
- Die Adaption des Ergo.flex-Systems an die CS-3000 Tragsystem-Familie ist mittels entsprechender Komponenten z.B. Winkel,
Standfuss, etc. möglich. Der Montageprozess wird in der jeweiligen BMA des Tragsystems beschrieben.

Use:
- Pictograms are shown in each of the chapters (see "Allocation of products"), which apply to the assembly step
- The adaptation of the Ergo.flex system to the CS-3000 support system family is possible by means of appropriate components,
e.g. elbow, base bracket, etc. The assembly process is described in the related BMA of the support system.

1.1 Utilisation prévue
- Le système de suspension est conçu pour la fixation d’IPC encapsulés et de pupitres de commande en position
suspendue ou verticale.
- Le système de suspension peut uniquement être fixé à l'aide de raccords du système de suspension CS-3000 de
BERNSTEIN AG et est destiné à un usage industriel.
- Les composants de couplage doivent uniquement être positionnés au centre ; le positionnement d’un côté n’est pas
autorisé.
- Pour les sections de passage internes avec et sans connecteurs, voir page 12.
- Les charges maximales sont mentionnées dans les diagrammes de la page 10.
- Les autres spécifications du système de suspension sont mentionnées dans les fiches de données techniques
correspondantes en vigueur.
- Une utilisation incorrecte ou non autorisée ainsi que le non-respect des instructions de ce manuel excluent toute
garantie.
- Il est interdit d’utiliser le couplage comme pied support.
- L'alignement horizontal de l'axe longitudinal des composants n'est pas autorisé
- Il est à noter que les substances LABS sont largement omises dans le processus de production,
mais l’assurance d’une exemption à 100 % de la LABS ne peut être accordée.

- Das Tragsystem darf nur unter einer Bemessungsspannung von höchstens 400 V AC
oder 48 V DC und zur allgemeinen Anwendung in Innenraumaufstellung verwendet werden.
- Folgende besondere Bedingungen sind nicht, oder nur in Sonderabsprache zulässig:
- Außergewöhnliche mechanische Beanspruchung
- Ionisierende Einflüsse
- Übermäßige Erschütterungen
- Strahlung
- Folgende Bedingungen während des Transportes und der Lagerung sind zu beachten:
- Lagertemperatur -5°C bis +70°C !

1.3 Installation, Betrieb und Wartung
- Unsachgemäße Installation und Betrieb des Höhenverstellungssystems führt zum Verlust der zugesicherten
Eigenschaften und der Garantie.
- Für das Errichten bzw. Betreiben sind die relevanten Normen, nationalen Vorschriften und Gesetze
für Geräte sowie die allgemein anerkannten Regeln der Technik bindend.
- Für das Verlegen von Leitungssystemen ist Spannungsfreiheit sicherzustellen und geeignete
Schutzmaßnahmen sind zu ergreifen.
Dies gilt sowohl bei der Installation, als auch bei Reparaturen bzw. Wartungsarbeiten.
- Achtung: Stromschläge können zu schweren gesundheitlichen Problemen führen, die unter Umständen
zum Tode führen.
- Als Ersatz und zur Reparatur dürfen nur Originalteile von BERNSTEIN verwendet werden.
- Unsachgemäße und nicht zulässige Modifikationen am Tragsystem, die außerhalb des
bestimmungsgemäßen Gebrauchs liegen und die die vorgegebenen Bedingungen missachten,
können zum Verlust der zugesicherten Eigenschaften und der Garantie führen.
- Sachgemäße und zulässige Modifikationen dürfen nur durch erfahrene und geschulte
Elektrofachkräfte sowie entsprechend unterwiesene Personen durchgeführt werden.
1.3 Installation, operation and maintenance
- Improper installation and operation of the height adjustment system will void the warranted characteristics
and the guarantee.
- The relevant standards, national regulations and laws for equipment as well as the generally recognized standards of
technology are binding for installation and operation.
- For the installation of power line systems, it must be ensured that the power supply is disconnected and suitable
protective measures must be taken.
This applies both during the installation, during operation and also when carrying out repair and maintenance work.
- Attention: Electric shocks can cause serious health problems, which may lead to death.
- Only original BERNSTEIN parts may be used for replacement and repair.
- Improper and impermissible modifications to the suspension system, which are outside the intended use and which do
not comply with the specified conditions, can lead to the loss of the warranted properties and the guarantee.
- Appropriate and permissible modifications may only be carried out by experienced and trained electricians and
appropriately instructed persons.

1.3 Installation, utilisation et maintenance
- Une installation et un fonctionnement incorrects du système de réglage en hauteur entraînent la perte de la garantie
les propriétés et la garantie.
- Pour l'installation et/ou le fonctionnement, les normes, réglementations et lois nationales applicables en matière
d'appareils, ainsi que les règles techniques généralement acceptées sont contraignantes.
- Pour l'installation des câblages, s'assurer de l'absence de tension et prendre les mesures de protection qui s'imposent.
Cette consigne s'applique aussi bien à l'installation qu'aux interventions de réparation et de maintenance, ou encore
pendant l’utilisation.
- Attention : Une électrocution peut nuire gravement à la santé voire entraîner la mort.
- Seules des pièces d'origine BERNSTEIN doivent être utilisées pour le remplacement ou la réparation.
- Toute modification inappropriée et non autorisée du système de suspension, en dehors de l'utilisation prévue et qui ne
respecte pas les conditions spécifiées, peut entraîner la perte des qualités garanties et des droits au regard de la garantie.
- Toute modification appropriée et autorisée doit être exécutée par des électriciens expérimentés et qualifiés, ou par des
personnes ayant reçu la formation adéquate.

1.4 Dichtsystem
- Dichtungen müssen während des Betriebes an ihrer vorgesehenen Position liegen.
- Komponenten und Dichtungen dürfen nicht beschädigt sein, da sonst die geprüften technischen Eigenschaften nicht
eingehalten werden.
- Der Betreiber ist für das ordnungsgemäße Verschließen des Produktes verantwortlich, um die entsprechende Schutzart
zu gewährleisten. Anzugsmomente sind einzuhalten.
- Am Übergangsbereich Ø48 Rundrohr zum eckigen Tragrohr ist die Dichtung regelmäßig zu fetten.
Dieses erfolgt durch ein benetzen des Ø48 Rundrohres mit Fett (s. Seite 26) .
1.4 Sealing system
- Seals must remain in their intended position during operation.
- Components and seals must not be damaged, otherwise compliance with the tested technical properties is not possible.
- The operating company is responsible for the proper sealing of the product to ensure the appropriate degree of
protection. Compliance with the tightening torques is mandatory.
- At the transition area Ø48 round tube to square support tube the seal must be greased regularly.
This is done by wetting the Ø48 round pipe with grease (see page 26).
1.4 Étanchéité
- Pendant l'utilisation, tous les joints d'étanchéité doivent être présents aux emplacements prévus.
- Les composants et les joints d'étanchéité doivent être en parfait état, sans quoi le respect des caractéristiques
techniques prévues ne peut plus être garanti.
- Il incombe à l'opérateur de s'assurer du scellage correct du produit afin de garantir le degré de protection approprié.
Veiller à respecter les couples de serrage.
- Au niveau de la zone de transition entre le tube rond Ø48 et le tube support carré,
le joint doit être graissé régulièrement. Pour ce faire, on mouille le tuyau rond Ø48 avec de la graisse (voir page 26).

Mögliche scharfe Kanten im Inneren des Tragrohres
Das übermäßige Stauchen, Strecken und Knicken von stromführenden Leitungen ist zu vermeiden
Das Leitungssystem ist regelmäßig auf Scheuerstellen zu überprüfen
Die Montage bzw. der Anschluss des Leitungssystems ist durch eine Elektrofachkraft durchzuführen
Dichtungen dürfen bei der Montage nicht beschädigt werden, da ansonsten die technischen
Eigenschaften nicht eingehalten werden können.
Die Anzugsmomente der Schraubverbindungen sind regelmäßig zu überprüfen.
Es ist darauf zu achten, dass die gewählten Kabellängen die Bewegungen des Tragsystems zulassen.

The excessive crushing, stretching and bending of power lines has to be avoided.
The power line system has to be checked for abrasion points regularly.
Mounting or the electrical connection of the power line system must be carried out by a qualified electrician.
Do not damage seals during installation as otherwise the technical characteristics cannot be complied with.
The tightening torques of the screw connections should be inspected on a regular basis.
It must be ensured that the selected cable lengths allow the movements of the support system.

Eine direkte Anbindung der Ergo.flex Komponente an Maschinen oder Gebäudeelementen (z.B. Wand) ist nicht möglich.
Hierzu wird auf Komponenten und die BMA des Tragsystems CS-3000 verwiesen
Optional kann die Kupplungskomponente mit einzelnen Komponenten des Tragsystems CS-480B.flex getauscht werden.
A direct connection of the Ergo.flex component to machines or building elements (e.g. wall) is not possible.
For this purpose we refer to components and the manual for the CS-3000 support system.

- Die Schutzfolie von der selbstklebenden Dichtung abziehen und
glatt auf die untere Stirnfläche der Kupplung anpressen
- Die Ausrichtung der Dichtung beachten
- Gewindestifte (1+2) zur Innenseite der Tragrohraufnahme
einschrauben
- Bremsstab (3) in die Gewindebohrung einsetzen
Klemmhebel (4) einschrauben
- Pull the protective film off the self-adhesive seal and press
smoothly onto the front face of the coupling
- Pay attention to the alignment of the seal
- Screw in grub screws (1+2) to the inside of the support tube holder
- Insert the braking pole (3) into the threaded hole and screw in the
clamping lever (4)
- Retirer le film de protection du joint d'étanchéité autoadhésif et le
presser à plat sur la surface avant inférieure du couplage
- Tenir compte de l’orientation du joint d'étanchéité
- Visser les vis sans tête (1+2) à l'intérieur du réceptacle du tube de
support
- Insérer la tige de frein (3) dans le trou fileté et visser le levier de
serrage (4)

- Place the lock washers onto the screws, push the screws through
the horizontal profile and screw them into the coupling and
tighten to 6 Nm

- Rohr in die Komponente bis zum Anschlag einfügen
(Dichtung bei Montage leicht zusammendrücken)
- Gewindestifte im Wechsel mit 20 Nm anziehen
- Pull the protective film off the self-adhesive seal and
press smoothly onto the front face of the tube
- Insert tube into the components as far as it will go
(press the seal gently together during assembly)
- Tighten the set screws alternately with 20 Nm
- Retirer le film de protection du joint d'étanchéité
autoadhésif et le presser à plat sur la surface avant du
tube
- Insérer le tube dans le composant jusqu’à la butée
(légèrement comprimer le joint d'étanchéité lors du
montage)
- Serrer les tiges filetées en alternance avec une force de 20 Nm

Fix the cable with cable ties.
Fold the energy chain back again.
