ATTENZIONE
IMPORTANTE LEGGERE COMPLETAMENTE IL PRESENTE MANUALE PRIMA DI UTILIZZARE LA LAMPADA A RAGGI
ULTRAVIOLETTI. IN CASO DI MANCATO RISPETTO DELLE NORME DI SICUREZZA E DELLE ISTRUZIONI OPERATIVE,
POSSONO VERIFICARSI SERI INFORTUNI.
Conservare accuratamente le istruzioni di sicurezza e consegnarle al personale utilizzatore.
DESTINAZIONE D’USO
La lampada a raggi ultravioletti è destinata al seguente uso:
• ricerca di fughe tramite l’utilizzo di liquido di contrasto sensibile ai raggi UV
Non sono consentite le seguenti operazioni:
• è vietato l’utilizzo su persone o animali o per scopi medici
• è vietato il contatto della lampada con sostanze chimiche e corrosive
• è vietato l’uso per tutte quelle applicazioni diverse da quelle indicate
SICUREZZA DELLA POSTAZIONE DI LAVORO
Non utilizzare la lampada in ambienti contenenti atmosfere potenzialmente esplosive perché possono svilupparsi scintille in
grado di incendiare polveri o vapori.
Impedire che bambini o visitatori possano entrare in diretto contatto con la lampada a raggi UV.

SICUREZZA LAMPADA A RAGGI UV
Controllare prima dell’utilizzo che la lampada non abbia subito danneggiamenti, che non vi siano parti usurate.
Non manomettere il circuito elettronico della lampada.
INDICAZIONE PER LA SICUREZZA DEL PERSONALE
Si raccomanda la massima attenzione, avendo cura di concentrarsi sempre sulle proprie azioni. Non utilizzare la lampada
a raggi UV in caso di stanchezza o sotto l’effetto di droghe, bevande alcoliche o medicinali.
Utilizzare sempre i seguenti dispositivi individuali di protezione:
• occhiali di protezione per raggi ultravioletti
Non indirizzare mai direttamente il fascio di luce UV sulle persone o animali, in quanto può causare accecamento
temporaneo.

UTILIZZO ACCURATO DELLA BATTERIA

Caricare la lampada regolarmente.
La luce rossa indica che la batteria è in carica.
La luce verde indica che la batteria è completamente carica.
Non lasciare la lampada scarica per un periodo di tempo prolungato, in quanto la batteria potrebbe venire danneggiata
da una scarica totale.


Collegare il cavo di alimentazione alla presa di rete, assicurandosi che la tensione di rete sia quella indicata sul dispositivo
di alimentazione. (Vedere tabella DATI TECNICI)
Tenere la lampada fuori dalla portata dei bambini durante il periodo di carica.
Non effettuare la carica in ambienti umidi o bagnati.
INDICAZIONI DI SICUREZZA DELLA LAMPADA A RAGGI UV

Quando la lampada non viene utilizzata conservarla al di fuori del raggio di accesso dei bambini. Non permettere di usare
la lampada a persone che non abbiano letto le presenti istruzioni.


Per la pulizia utilizzare un panno asciutto, scollegando sempre l’alimentazione di rete dalla lampada. Non utilizzare mai
panni umidi o bagnati.

UTILIZZO
Per caricare la lampada, collegare l’alimentatore alla presa di rete, assicurandosi che la tensione di rete sia quella indica-
ta in tabella DATI TECNICI, o connettere il cavo con presa USB all’alimentatore ed alla lampada da caricare.
• La lampada è rivestita di un corpo compatto in gomma antiscivolo,
• Accendere la lampada tramite l’interruttore ON/OFF.
• Al primo “clic” si attiva la luce UV, al secondo “clic” si attiva la luce LED.
• La lampada è provvista di un gancio e di una base magnetica orientabile a 180°
ATTENZIONE: Non indirizzare mai direttamente il fascio di luce UV sulle persone o animali, in quanto può causare
accecamento temporaneo.
Riporre la lampada in una zona asciutta e priva di umidità. Per la pulizia del corpo esterno utilizzare un panno asciutto.
MANUTENZIONE
Gli interventi di manutenzione e di riparazione devono essere eseguiti da personale specializzato. Per tali interventi
potete rivolgervi al centro riparazioni di Beta Utensili S.P.A.
GARANZIA
Questa lampada è fabbricata e collaudata secondo le norme attualmente vigenti nella Comunità Europea. E’ coperta da
garanzia per un periodo di 12 mesi per uso professionale o 24 mesi per uso non professionale.
Vengono riparati guasti dovuti a difetti di materiale o di produzione, mediante ripristino o sostituzione dei pezzi difettosi
a nostra discrezione.

Non sono soggetti a garanzia difetti dovuti all’usura, all’uso errato od improprio e a rotture causate da colpi e/o cadute.


IMPORTANT! READ THIS MANUAL THOROUGHLY BEFORE USING THE ULTRAVIOLET LAMP. FAILURE TO COMPLY
WITH THE SAFETY STANDARDS AND OPERATING PROCEDURES MAY RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY.
Store the safety instructions with care and hand them over to the users.
PURPOSE OF USE
The ultraviolet lamp can be used for the following purposes:
• detecting leaks by using a contrast medium sensitive to UV rays.
The ultraviolet lamp must not be used for the following operations:
• must not be used on people or animals or for medical purposes
• must not come into contact with chemical and corrosive substances
• must not be used for any applications other than recommend ones.
WORK AREA SAFETY
Do not operate the lamp in environments containing potentially explosive atmospheres, because sparks may be generated,
which can ignite the dust or fumes.
Keep children and bystanders away from the UV lamp.

UV LAMP SAFETY
Before use, check that the lamp has not been damaged, and that no parts are worn.
Do not force the electronic circuit of the lamp.
PERSONNEL SAFETY


BATTERY USE AND CARE

Charge the lamp regularly.
The red light indicates that the battery is charging.
The green light indicates that the battery is fully charged.

Do not modify the lamp. This can reduce the effectiveness of safety measures and increase operator risk.
Connect the power supply cable to the mains socket, making sure that the mains voltage matches the one stated on the
power supply device. (See Table TECHNICAL DATA)
Keep the lamp out of the reach of children while charging it.
Do not charge the lamp in humid or wet environments.
UV LAMP SAFETY
Do not subject the lamp to voltage overcharge; always make sure that it has not been damaged.
When not in use, store the lamp out of the reach of children. Do not allow persons unfamiliar with these instructions to
operate the lamp.
Do not modify the lamp. This can reduce the effectiveness of safety measures and increase operator risk.
To clean the lamp, use a dry cloth and always disconnect the lamp from the mains power source. Do not use any humid
or wet cloths.

USE
To charge the lamp, connect the power supply to the mains socket, making sure that the mains voltage matches the one
stated in the Table TECHNICAL DATA, or connect the USB cable to the power supply and the lamp to charge.
• The lamp is covered with antislip rubber.
• Turn on the lamp by pressing the ON/OFF switch.
 
 
CAUTION: Do not direct the UV light beam at people or animals; this might cause temporary blinding.
When not in use, store the lamp in a dry, humidity-free area. To clean the exterior, use a dry cloth.
MAINTENANCE
Maintenance and repair jobs must be carried out by trained personnel only. For such jobs, you can contact Beta Utensili
S.P.A.’ s repair centre.
WARRANTY
This lamp is manufactured and tested in accordance with current EU regulations, and is covered by a 12-month warranty
for professional use or a 24-month warranty for nonprofessional use.


This warranty will not cover defects due to wear, misuse or breakdowns caused by blows and/or falls.
In addition, this warranty will no longer be valid if any changes are made, or if the lamp is forced or sent to the customer
service in pieces.
This warranty explicitly excludes any damage to people and/or things, whether direct or consequential.

IL EST IMPORTANT DE LIRE COMPLÈTEMENT LE PRÉSENT MANUELAVANT D’UTILISER LA LAMPE À RAYONS
ULTRAVIOLETS. EN CAS DE NON-RESPECT DES NORMES DE SÉCURITÉ ET DES INSTRUCTIONS POUR LE
FONCTIONNEMENT, DE SÉRIEUX ACCIDENTS PEUVENT SE PRODUIRE.
Conserver soigneusement les instructions de sécurité et les remettre au personnel utilisateur.
DESTINATION D’UTILISATION
La lampe à rayons ultraviolets est destinée à l’utilisation suivante :
• détection de fuites par le biais de l’utilisation d’un liquide de contraste sensible aux rayons UV.
Les opérations suivantes ne sont pas autorisées :
 
• la lampe ne doit pas être mise en contact avec des substances chimiques et corrosives;
• toutes les applications non envisagées dans les présentes instructions.
SÉCURITÉ DU POSTE DE TRAVAIL
Ne pas utiliser la lampe dans des milieux contenant des atmosphères potentiellement explosives car des étincelles peuvent
donner feu aux poussières ou vapeurs.
Empêcher que les enfants ou les visiteurs puissent entrer en contact direct avec la lampe à rayons UV.

SÉCURITÉ LAMPE À RAYONS UV
Avant l’utilisation, contrôler que la lampe n’ait pas été endommagée et qu’elle ne présente pas de pièces usées.
Ne pas intervenir sur le circuit électronique de la lampe.
INDICATION POUR LA SÉCURITÉ DU PERSONNEL
Nous recommandons la plus grande attention en ayant soin de se concentrer constamment sur ses propres actions.
Ne pas utiliser la lampe à rayons UV en cas de fatigue ou sous l’effet de drogues, de boissons alcoolisées ou de
médicaments.
Utiliser systématiquement les équipements de protection individuelle suivants:
• lunettes de protection pour rayons ultraviolets
Ne jamais orienter directement le rayon de lumière UV sur les personnes ou les animaux, car cela peut provoquer un
aveuglement momentané.

UTILISATION ATTENTIVE DE LA BATTERIE
Dès la première utilisation de la lampe, charger la batterie jusqu’à ce que l’indicateur de charge n’indique pas la lumière
verte.
Charger la lampe régulièrement.
La lumière rouge indique que la batterie est en charge.
La lumière verte indique que la batterie est complètement chargée.
Ne pas laisser la lampe déchargée pendant une période prolongée, car la batterie totalement déchargée pourrait
s’abîmer.


Garder la lampe hors de portée des enfants pendant la phase de chargement.
Ne pas effectuer le chargement dans des lieux humides ou mouillés.


Lorsque la lampe n’est pas utilisée, la ranger hors de porter des enfants. Ne pas permettre aux personnes qui n’ont pas
lu les présentes instructions d’utiliser la lampe.

