How to adjust the European adjustable hinges on doors
Shipping may cause doors to go out of alignment. If you find that the doors need to be adjusted slightly,
turn the appropriate screw, as illustrated.
1. TO ADJUST DOOR FORWARD OR BACKWARD.
2. TO ADJUST DOOR TO RIGHT OR TO LEFT.
3. TO ADJUST DOOR UP OR DOWN.

Important
Before you begin: Open, identify and count all parts prior to assembly. Lay out parts on a flat and non-
abrasive surface. You will need the parts identified on page 4 and 5 of this instruction manual.
NOTE: IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO USE GLUE WITH DOWELS. EXCESS GLUE CAN BE WIPED OFF
WITH DAMP CLOTH.
Insert Dowel at least half way by tapping lightly with a rubber mallet IF NECESSARY.
CAM LOCK SYSTEM OPERATION
HOW THE KNOCK DOWN (KD) ASSEMBLY SYSTEM WORKS
1. Screw Cam Bolt into the pre-drilled small holes on panel. Connect both panels together; making
sure Cam Bolt goes into pre-drilled hole on the end of panel with Cam Lock.
2. Insert Cam Lock into pre-drilled large hole on panel. Make sure arrow on Cam Lock is pointed toward
Cam Bolt.
3. Once Cam Bolt is connected inside Cam Lock, take a Phillips screwdriver and tighten Cam Lock clockwise.
4. Plug Cam Cap into the cross slot of the Cam Locks to conceal the cam.
You are now ready to assemble the KD unit.

Assembly Instructions
1. Unpack the unit and confirm that you have all the hardware and required parts. Assembly the unit on a
carpeted floor or the empty carton to avoid any scratch.
2. Securely screw the Cam Bolts (2) into the designated small holes on the Top Panel (A), Side Panels (B
and C) and Partition Panel Moldings (Q) by a Phillips screwdriver, as shown in the illustration.

4. Insert two Wood Dowels (3) into the inner holes on the end of Left Lower Partition Panel (F). Tap in
with a rubber mallet, if necessary. Make sure that you use a small amount of glue with both ends of all
dowels.
5. Align the drilled holes on one Partition Panel Molding (Q) with the inserted Wood Dowel (3) on the
Left Lower Partition Panel (F), and then firmly press them together as shown. Attach the Partition Panel
Molding (Q) in place by engaging three Cam Locks (1) (Refer to page 3 on Cam Lock system operation
supplement).
6. Repeat the same procedure to combine the Right Lower Partition Panel (G) and the other Partition Panel
Molding (Q) together.

7. Align and attach the Middle Crossbar (H) to the Fixed Shelf (E) with two wood dowels (3) and three
cam locks (1). As shown.

8. Insert four Wood Dowels (3) into the inner holes of Fixed Shelf (E) at both ends.
9. Align and attach the assembled Fixed Shelf (E) between the Left and Right Side Panels (B and C) and
keep the Middle Crossbar (H) facing the bottom edge, by using four Cam Locks (1) as shown.
NOTE: There are cam bolt holes on the top edge of partition panels.

them to the Fixed Shelf (E) by using four Cam Locks (1). As shown.

Assembly Instructions
11. Insert eight Wood Dowels (3) into the inner holes on the bottom edge of the Side Panels (B and C) and
the Lower Partition Panels (F and G).
12. Ask for assistance to position the Bottom Panel (I) onto the inserted Wood Dowels (3) making sure the
back edges are flush with each other. Attach the Bottom Panel (I) in place by using eight 40 mm Wood
Screws (5).

13. Securely screw the four Feet (O) and Center Support (P) into the threaded inserts on the Bottom Panel (I)
and set the pre-attached floor leveler on the center support to the correct height. As shown above.

16. Insert one Wood Dowel (3) into the large hole on the Fixed Shelf (E). Attach the Upper Partition Panel
(D) to the Fixed Shelf (E) by engaging two Cam Locks (1).

17. Insert five Wood Dowels (3) into the top inner holes of the Upper Partition Panel (D) and Side Panels
(B and C). Position the Top Panel (A) onto the inserted Wood Dowels (3) and fasten it in place with six
Cam Locks (1).

18. Fasten the Middle Crossbar (H) to the Partition Panel Moldings (Q) by attaching two Metal Brackets (8)
at the joints, using two 12 mm Screws (4) per Bracket.

Assembly Instructions
19. Pick up the Upper Back Panel (L) and align the pre-drilled holes against the upper long edge with the
pilot holes on the back stretcher of Top Panel (A). Attach the Back Panel (L) in place using the
provided Washer Head Screws (6).
20. Align and attach two Lower Back Panels (M) to the mantel base with the provided Washer Head
Screws (6).

Assembly Instructions
21. Insert four Shelf Pins (12) into the holes at your desired height inside each side compartment. Tilt and
rest the Adjustable Shelves (K) onto the Shelf Pins (12).
22. Plug the Cam Lock Covers (11) onto the visible cams locks to conceal the cams.

Assembly Instructions
23. Attach the Knob (9) to the outside of each Door (J) with the provided Knob Bolt (10).
24. Pick up one Door (J) and attach the extended Hinge Arms to the Hinge Bases installed on the Left Side
Panel (B). Loosen the bolt on the back of Hinge Base for an easy fit. Align and insert the “U” slot on
Hinge Arm under the bolt head on the back of Hinge Base. Make sure that both door hinges engage and
function properly. Tighten the bolt on the Hinge Base to lock the hinges in place.
25. Repeat the same procedure to attach the other Door (J) to the Right Side Panel (C).
26. Open and close the doors to make sure they are aligned and shut correctly. If necessary, adjust the
screws for a good fit. Refer to the hinge sticker on door for adjustment.
