CAUTION To prevent personal injury
and/or product/property damage:

The device is intended only for domestic/private
use, not for commercial use.
•
Keep device away from moisture, dust, chemicals,
toiletries, liquid cosmetics, extreme hot and cold
temperatures, and sources of heat (e.g., open
flames, radiators).

Prevent impacts with hard objects.
•
Cleaning: You can clean the device with a damp
cloth and a mild detergent, if required.
•
Never immerse the device in water or rinse it under
running water.

Repairs may only be performed by an authorized
service center. Contact Customer Service with any
questions regarding operation, usage, or repair of
this product.

Children must not play with the device.

Battery Handling Safety Precautions
•
Use only the size and type of batteries specified.
•
Be sure to follow the correct polarity when installing
the batteries. Reversed batteries may cause
damage to the device.
•
Do not mix different types of batteries together (e.g.
Alkaline and Carbon-zinc or rechargeable batteries)
or old batteries with fresh ones. Always replace
batteries as a simultaneous set.
•
If the batteries in the device are depleted or the
device will not be used for a long period of time,
remove the batteries to prevent damage or injury
from possible battery leakage.
•
Do not try to recharge batteries not intended to be
recharged; they can overheat and rupture (follow
battery manufacturer’s directions.)
•
Do not dispose of batteries in fire, batteries may
explode or leak.

Clean the battery contacts and also those of the
device prior to battery installation.
•
Remove discharged batteries from the product and
dispose/recycle in compliance with all applicable
laws.
•
Keep batteries away from children and pets.
Batteries may be harmful if swallowed. Should
a child or pet swallow a battery, seek medical
assistance immediately
•
If your skin or eyes come into contact with battery
fluid, rinse the affected areas with water and seek
medical assistance.

3. To Set Up
1.
On the bottom of the device, press the tab on the
Battery Compartment Cover to remove it. Insert
three “AA” size batteries and then replace the cover.
NOTE: the batteries provided with this unit are carbon-
zinc but regular alkaline batteries may also be used.
2.
Y
ou can as well use this unit with the included USB cable.
To do so, connect the USB cable to the USB jack and to
a standard USB port on a computer or other USB power
supply (adapter not included). Route the USB cord so
that it does not pose a trip hazard.
3.
P
lace the device on a flat, steady, level surface in a dry
indoor location.

Power/Volume Button: Rotate clockwise to turn on
the device; continue turning clockwise to increase the
playback volume. Rotate counterclockwise to decrease
the volume; continue turning until the knob clicks to shut
off the device.
2.
SOUND Button: Press to choose one of six soothing
sounds: White Noise, Ocean, Rain Forest, Summer Night,
Bird or Bubbling Brook. The symbol for the selected
sound will illuminate in blue.
3.
TIMER Button: Press to select a playback time of 15, 30,
or 60 minutes. The selected playback time will illuminate
in blue. After the selected playback time has elapsed, the
device will shut off. To activate the device again, press
the SOUND Button. If no playback time is selected, the
device will operate indefinitely.

5. Care and Maintenance
•
Clean the device with a dry cloth.
•
Do not use any abrasive cleaning products.
•
Ensure that no water enters the device. If water reaches
the internals of the device, ensure it is completely dry
before reuse.
•
Never immerse the device or power cord in water or other
liquids.
•
Protect the device from impacts, moisture, dust,
chemicals, large temperature fluctuations, and nearby
sources of heat (ovens, heaters).
Disposal
Observe the local regulations for material disposal. Dispose
of the device in accordance with local regulations. If you
have any questions, please contact the local authorities
responsible for waste disposal.
