Biamp AUTOONE User manual

The autoONE Automatic Mixer is affordable, extremely versatile, and easy to use. Features include
NOM attenuation, adaptive threshold sensing, speech-frequency filtering, manual priority override,
selectable channel-off attenuation, and selectable last mic hold. The autoONE is compatible with all
other BIAMP products, providing the ultimate expandable system. The autoONE is covered by BIAMP's
five-year warranty.
ARCHITECTS & ENGINEERS SPECIFICATION
The automatic mixer shall provide eight balanced mic/line input channels. Each input channel shall include trim, pad, & level
controls, as well as a combined active/peak indicator and a TRS ¼" phone patch jack. DIP switches on each channel shall allow
selection of gating, 24V phantom power, & patch jack pre/post gate. Channels 1~7 shall be individually assignable to trigger signal
present ducking of channel 8 by 12dB. Channel 8 assignment to an auxiliary output shall be defeatable, to provide a mix-minus
capability. Each input channel shall provide a discrete transistor, differentially balanced mic/line preamp for low-noise & low
distortion, with connections via plug-in barrier strip.
Balanced main & aux outputs, as well as a balanced stacking input, shall be provided on plug-in barrier strips. The main output
shall include a selectable high-pass filter. The aux output shall be assignable to receive pre/post gate signal from the channels.
The stacking input, along with a master/slave switch & an expansion jack, shall allow linking of multiple units to increase the
number of mixer inputs. The expansion jack shall include a priority terminal for muting of all inputs, except channel 1, via an
external contact-closure.
The main output shall provide NOM attenuation, with automixing functions to include Adaptive Threshold Sensing, Speech-
Frequency Filtering, & 6dB of hysteresis, for increased stability of gating operations. Other automixing functions shall include
selectable last mic hold & -12dB/-40dB channel-off attenuation. Eight logic outputs shall be provided on a 9-pin Sub-D connector,
for control of external circuits based upon active status of the channels.
Frequency response shall be +0/-0.5dB (20Hz~20kHz @ +4dBu) THD+N shall be less than 0.05% (20Hz~20kHz @ +4dBu)
Output Noise shall be less than -75dBu (20Hz~20kHz, main & channel @ nominal) Power consumption shall be less than 15 Watts.
Dimensions shall be 1.75 inches (1 rack space) high, 19 inches wide, and 11 inches deep. Weight shall be 10 lbs. Warranty
coverage shall be 5 years. The unit shall be CE marked, include a UL / C-UL listed power source, and incorporate AES
recommended grounding practices.
The automatic mixer shall be a BIAMP autoONE.
