This user guide is based on the standards and regulations that are valid within the
UK and EU. Also the country specific directives and laws outside of the EU.
Reading and storing the user guide
This user guide belongs to this Rear Camera Bike Light (referred to as
the “product” below). It contains information on how to setup and use
the product. Read the user guide carefully, in
particularly the safety instructions before using the product. Failure to
follow this user guide may lead to severe injury or product damage.
Intended Use
This product is exclusively designed to amplify compatible entertainment devices.
This product is not intended for commercial use.
Only use the product as described in this user guide. Any other use other than
directed may lead to damage of the product or equipment and even possible injury.
The manufacturer or retailer assume no liability of damaged caused by improper or
incorrect use.
This product IS NOT a toy.

Failure to comply with safety warnings and regulations
can cause serious injury or death.
• Only connect the product if the mains voltage of the sockets matches the
information shown on the rating plate.
• Only connect the product to an easily accessible socket so that you can quickly
disconnect it from the mains power in the event of a malfunction.
• DO NOT operate this product if it has visible damage or if the power cables
or plug is faulty.
• DO NOT operate this product with wet or damp hands or other body parts.
• DO NOT immerse the product, power cable or plug in water or other liquids
or expose them to damp or moist conditions.

Setup
This product has the micro SD card pre-formatted and pre-installed for your
convenience. It is recommended that you fully charge the product before use for the
best first time experience.
Charging The Camera
To charge the camera, lift the dust cover B1and connect the mini USB end of the
supplied charge cable B2. Connect the other end of the charge cable to an
appropriate 5V/1A DC out port on a USB main adaptor.

Setup
Charging Time
The camera will take approximate 4 hours minutes to fully charge.
A full charge will last approximately up to 8 hours.
Standard Seat Mounting
The camera is mounted to the bicycle seat pole. To fit the camera, first take the
mounting strap C1and place the mounting bracket against the seat post. Next
adjust the strap C4so that the rear mount C2is on the opposite side to the
mounting bracket C1. Thread the velcro strap C4through the strap loop C3,
pull firmly and fix into place.

Aero Seat Mounting
To mount the camera to an aero seat pole, use the same process as previously
directed in the Standard Seat Mounting section (page 10).

Fitting The Camera
Use the vertical adjustment screw E1to release and align the bracket to the
preferred position for the camera.

Take the camera F1and slide it on to the mounting bracket F2.
When you hear a small click the camera is locked in place.

To release the camera, raise the clip F3and slide the camera F1off the mount.
It is advisable to take the camera with you when you’ve secured your bicycle.

Use
To turn the camera off, press and hold the power button A3for 3 seconds. You
will hear two beeps as before, the light will turn off and the camera will stop record-
ing.
When the camera reaches 5% power, it disable the recording function and only
allow the use of the light.
Recording Confirmation
As covered in the previous section the camera will automatically start recording
when it is turned on. This is confirmed with a chasing pattern LED around the lens
housing square.
Using The Camera

Turning The Camera On/Off
To turn the camera on, press and hold power button A3for 3 seconds. You will
hear two beeps. The camera will automatically start recording if there is a micro SD
card installed and the light will turn on.

The camera has 3 light modes for the rear light:
• Constant
• Flashing
• Multi Strobe
To change between light modes give the power button A3a quick press.
Brightness Control
The camera has 4 brightness levels for the rear light:
• High
• Medium
•Low
• Off
To change between brightness modes give the light button A6a quick press.

Card Installation & Removal
To install the micro SD card, raise the dust cover G1to expose the ports. Insert the
provided micro SD card G2into the card slot G3. Push the card in until you hear a
click. The click will indicate that the card is secured in place.

The micro SD card will only fit one way into the slot, data pins towards the lens.
To remove the micro SD card, press the card in until you hear a click. Let go of the
card so it protrudes further out of the slot. Now you are able to remove it from the
slot.
Please note that the card system is only compatible with Microsoft Window OS.

Accessing Footage
There are 2 methods to access the footage stored on the card. Directly off the card
and via the use of the USB cable.
To access the card directly from the card you will need the use of a Micro SD card
adaptor. Insert the micro SD card into the adaptor H1. Finally, insert the combined
card into an SD card reader.
To access the card from the camera, connect the supplied charge cable H2to the
mini USB port on the camera and the other end to a USB port on a PC or laptop.
Once connected using either method, the card’s root fold should automatically be
displayed on the desktop of the PC or laptop. If not, it is possible to access the card
through Windows Explorer.

Double left click with the mouse on the folder icon named “DCIMA”. This folder will
give access to all of the recorded video AVI files.
Double left click on any of the AVI files to view it in your default playback application.
You are able to transfer files to a PC or laptop from DCIMA folder with either the
copy and paste or drag and drop functions.
Repairing The Micro SD Card
In the event that the micro SD card becomes corrupt or doesn’t play/record, try
formatting the card. You can do this with either a micro USB adaptor or with the
charge cable connected to a PC or laptop.
Once connected in either of the aforementioned methods, right click on USB Drive in
Windows Explorer and select ‘Format’.

On the ‘Format USB Drive’ dialogue box, make sure FAT32 is selected.
Firstly try ‘Quick Format’ by making sure the check box is ticked and left click on
‘Start’. A warning box will show, left click to continue to format the card. This will take
a few minutes to perform.
Disconnect the cable and turn the camera off once the formatting is completed.
If you have formatted the card directly, remove the card once the formatting has
completed, then insert the card into the camera making sure the camera has been
turned off beforehand. When the camera is turned on the card will be automatically
be updated and ready for use.
If the card still presents issues, repeat the process, but uncheck the
‘Quick Format’ box. This will take much longer.
