AVVERTENZE
Questo apparecchio è destinato solo all’uso
domestico per la cottura di toast, secondo le
modalità indicate in queste istruzioni. Ogni altro
uso è da considerarsi improprio e pericoloso.
Esempi di apparecchi per ambiente domestico
sono apparecchi per tipiche funzioni
domestiche, usati in ambito domestico, che
possono essere utilizzati anche da persone non
esperte:
- innegozi, uffici ealtri luoghidi lavorosimilari;
- in aziende agricole o similari;
- da clienti di alberghi, motel e altri ambienti di
tipo residenziale;
- in ambienti del tipo bed and breakfast.

Il costruttore non potrà essere ritenuto

improprio, erroneo e irresponsabile e/o da
riparazioni effettuate da personale non

L'utilizzatore non deve lasciare l’apparecchio
senza sorveglianza quando è collegato
all'alimentazione.
Utilizzare l’apparecchio solo in ambienti chiusi.
Non lasciare l’apparecchio esposto agli agenti
atmosferici (sole, pioggia ecc..).
Usare l’apparecchio completo degli accessori in
dotazione. Non usare accessori diversi da quelli
in dotazione: può essere pericoloso per l’utente
e danneggiare l’apparecchio. Non inserire mani,
forchette o altri utensili all’interno delle cavità
pinze né in nessuna apertura dell’apparecchio.
Attenzione: il tostapane deve funzionare solo
con il vassoio raccoglibriciole inserito nelle
propria sede.

Il supporto in filo metallico al di sopra delle
cavità per le pinze è destinato unicamente a
sostenere unabrioche ounpane e riscaldarla/o
durante la tostatura: questa funzione è
utilizzabile solo se il supporto è sollevato (vedi
paragrafo Uso) e permette così che il calore
possa evacuare. Non appoggiare piattio
utensili o altro sul supporto metallico, né
direttamente sopra le cavità.
Durante il funzionamento le superfici sono
calde: maneggiare solo parti in plastica.
Attenzione: Il pane può bruciare, quindi il
tostapane non deve essere utilizzato in
prossimità di materiali combustibili (plastica,
sacchetti, ecc).
Attenzione: verificare sempre il tostapane
durante il funzionamento. Se il pane o altre parti
producono fiamme, non tentare in nessun caso
di spegnerle con acqua, ma disattivare la presa
di corrente tramite l’interruttore del quadro
elettrico,esolodopotoglierelaspinadallapresa

di corrente e soffocare la fiamma con un panno
umido.
Se l’apparecchio non è in funzione togliere la
spina dalla presa di corrente e anche se non è
utilizzato per pochi istanti.
La presa di corrente deve essere facilmente
accessibile in modo da poter disinserire con
facilità la spina in caso di emergenza.
L’apparecchio non deve essere posizionato
immediatamente al di sotto di una presa di
corrente.
Non spostare l’apparecchio quando è in
funzione.
Questo apparecchiopuòessere utilizzato da
bambini dagli 8 anni in su e da persone con
ridotte capacità fisiche, sensoriali o mentali o
con mancanza di esperienza o conoscenza se a
loro è stata assicurata un’adeguata
sorveglianza oppure se hannoricevuto
istruzioni circa l’uso in sicurezza
dell’apparecchio e hanno compreso i pericoli
correlati. I bambini non devono giocare con

l’apparecchio. Le operazioni di pulizia e di
manutenzione non devono essere effettuate
da bambini a meno che non abbiano più di 8
anni e sianosorvegliati.
Mantenere l’apparecchio e il suo cavo fuori
dalla portata deibambini con meno di 8 anni.
Attenzione: quandosi utilizzano apparecchi
elettrici, occorresempre rispettare le
precauzioni di sicurezza di base per evitare i
rischi di incendio, di scosse elettriche e di lesioni
fisiche.
Non tirare il cavo per spostare l’apparecchio.
Non lasciar pendere il cavo in un luogo dove
potrebbe essere afferratodaun bambino.
Non toccare l’apparecchio con mani o piedi
bagnatio umidi.
Noncoprire l’apparecchio mentre è in uso.
In caso di caduta o cattivo funzionamento,
scollegare immediatamenteilcordoneelettrico.
Verificare che nessuna parte sia danneggiata, e
dopo questi accertamenti accenderlo: incaso di

dubbio rivolgersi a personale
professionalmente qualificato.
Al fine di evitare ogni rischio di scossa elettrica,
non immergere mai la spina, il cordone elettrico
e l’apparecchio nell’acqua od in nessun altro
liquido.
Non tirare il cavo di alimentazione o
l’apparecchio per disinserire la spina dalla presa
dicorrente.
Non utilizzate l'apparecchio come fonte di
calore.
Se il cavo di alimentazione è danneggiato, esso
deve sostituito dal costruttore o dal suo servizio
assistenza tecnica o comunque da una persona
conqualificasimilare,inmododaprevenireogni
rischio.
Questo apparecchio non è destinato a essere
fatto funzionare per mezzo di un
temporizzatore esterno o con un sistema di
comando a distanza separato, per evitare il
rischio di incendio nel caso l’apparecchio sia
coperto o sia posizionato in modo non corretto.

Le temperature delle superfici di metallo
accessibili possono essere elevate (calde) quando
l'apparecchio è in funzione.
INSTALLAZIONE
Dopo aver tolto l’imballaggio, assicurarsi dell’integrità dell’apparecchio; in caso
di dubbio non utilizzarlo e rivolgersi a personale professionalmente qualificato.
Gli elementi di imballaggio (sacchetti in plastica, polistirolo espanso, chiodi, ecc.)
non devono essere lasciati alla portata di mano di bambini in quanto potenziali
fonti di pericolo; smaltirli secondo le norme vigenti.
Prima di collegare l’apparecchio controllare che i valori di tensione riportati sulla
targa dati corrispondano a quelli della rete elettrica, e che la presa sia dotata di
efficace messa a terra (la casa costruttrice declina ogni responsabilità derivante
dalla mancata osservazione di questa norma). In caso di incompatibilità tra la
presa e la spina dell’apparecchio, far sostituire la presa con altra di tipo adatto
da personale professionalmente qualificato, il quale accerti che la sezione dei
cavi della presa sia idonea alla potenza assorbita dall’apparecchio. Verificare che
sulla linea elettrica non siano collegati altri apparecchi ad elevato assorbimento,
per evitare sovraccarichi e rischi di incendio. In generale è sconsigliato l’uso di
adattatori e/o prolunghe; se il loro uso si rendesse indispensabile, devono essere
conformi alle vigenti norme di sicurezza e la loro portata di corrente (ampères)
non deve essere inferiore a quella massima dell’apparecchio.
Prima di ogni utilizzo verificare che l’apparecchio sia in buono stato, che il
cordone elettrico non sia danneggiato: in caso di dubbio rivolgersi a personale
professionalmente qualificato.
Posizionare l’apparecchio:
-lontano da altre fonti di calore (ad es. altri forni, fornello gas, ecc. ), da materiali
infiammabili (tappezzerie, ecc.), materiale esplosivo (bombolette spray) e da
materiali che possono deformarsi con il calore.
-su un piano d’appoggio orizzontale e ben stabile, la cui superficie non sia
delicata (ad esempio mobili laccati, tovaglie, ecc), in posizione dove non possa
subire urti, e a debita distanza dal bordo del mobile, in modo che non possa
cadere.
-lontano da contenitori di liquidi, ad esempio lavelli ecc. Nel caso dovesse
inavvertitamente bagnarsi o immergersi in un liquido, staccare
immediatamente la spina dalla presa di corrente, farlo raffreddare, asciugarlo
con cura, e verificare che le parti elettriche non si siano bagnate; in caso di
dubbio rivolgersi a personale professionalmente qualificato.

Assicurarsi che il cavo sia posizionato correttamente e che non sia a contatto
con parti calde o spigoli taglienti, né avvolto intorno all’apparecchio o
attorcigliato su se stesso e non si impigli, onde evitare una caduta
dell’apparecchio. Verificare che non vi si possa inciampare, per evitare cadute
accidentali o danni alle persone.
Non posizionare il tostapane sotto un pensile o in un angolo.
In caso di guasto o cattivo funzionamento spegnere l’apparecchio e farlo
controllare da personale professionalmente qualificato.
USO
Il tostapane è dotato dei seguenti elementi di regolazione:
-Tasto “AVVIO”(1): abbassato a fondo aziona la tostatura, e allo scadere del
tempo programmato il tasto scatta in alto e la interrompe.
-Tasto “STOP”(6). Interrompe la tostatura: il tasto di avvio scatta da sé in alto.
-Tasto “DEFROST”(7). Incrementa del 10% circa il tempo di tostatura. Si
seleziona subito dopo aver avviata la tostatura.
-Tasto “REHEAT”(8). Tosta per 30’’circa. Si seleziona subito dopo aver avviata la
tostatura.
-TIMER. Regola il tempo di tostatura ①(min)= 50’’ ⑥(max)= 3’20’’circa: per
posizioni intermedie il tempo è ridotto in proporzione.
-Manopola SUPPORTO (2). Solleva e richiude il supporto brioche al di sopra
delle cavità, per scaldarla durante la tostatura. Ruotando la manopola in un senso
o nell’altro il supporto si apre e si chiude. Il supporto è idoneo solo a sostenere
una brioche o un pane di comune dimensione: né piccola altrimenti può cadere
nella cavità, e né troppo grande.
, ed è corredato da:
-PINZE (10) per trattenere e inserire nelle 2 cavità il toast o la fetta di pane:
l’impugnatura socchiude anche la pinza e facilita l’inserimento o l’estrazione del
toast.
-Luci SPIA: evidenziano le funzioni attive.
-VASSOIO (3) raccogli briciole: è inserito nella base e raccoglie eventuali briciole
durante la tostatura. E’ estraibile e deve essere correttamente inserito durante
l’uso del tostapane.
-AVVOLGICAVO al di sotto della base.
Primo utilizzo
Lavare e asciugare le pinze, inserirle nelle relative sedi (a vuoto, senza pancarrè).
Inserire la spina nella presa di corrente. Regolare il timer alla posizione ⑥,
abbassare il tasto AVVIO della tostatura: si eliminano così eventuali residui di
lavorazione. Al termine del tempo impostato, la tostatura si arresta.
Eventualmente ripetere una seconda volta l’operazione, dopo la pausa di un
minuto di raffreddamento.

Utilizzo
Inserire il toast farcito o la fetta di pancarrè all’interno della pinza, e inserire la pinza
nella propria sede.
Inserire la spina nella presa di corrente. Regolare il timer, e abbassare il tasto AVVIO
tostatura.
Terminato l’utilizzo togliere la spina dalla presa di corrente e attendere che sia
raffreddato prima di pulirle o riporle.
PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE
Attenzione: prima di procedere alla pulizia dell’apparecchio disinserire la spina dalla
presa di corrente e attendere che sia completamente raffreddato. L’apparecchio e tutti
i suoi elementi a contatto con gli alimenti (pinze, Supporto scalda brioche, ecc…)
necessitano di pulizia accurata e al termine di ogni utilizzo.
Non immergere l’apparecchio in acqua o in altro liquido, non lavarlo sotto il getto
d’acqua o in lavastoviglie.
Pulire periodicamente le pinze: possono essere pulite mediante un normale detersivo
per stoviglie e le sole parti in metallo con una paglietta morbida.
Pulire periodicamente il vassoio raccoglibriciole (3), altrimenti residui di cibo
accumulatisi sul fondo potrebbero causare fumo e anche prendere fuoco; pulirlo
utilizzando un normale detersivo per stoviglie. Asciugarlo prima di reinserirlo nella
sede.
La superfice esterna deve essere pulita con un panno morbido. Non usare detergenti
avrasivi che potrebbero rovinare la superficie.
Quando non si utilizza l’apparecchio, coprirlo e riporlo in un luogo asciutto. Non
immergere il tostapane in acqua o in altro liquido.
Se si decide di non utilizzare più l’apparecchio, si raccomanda di renderlo
inoperante tagliando il cavo di alimentazione (prima assicurarsi d’aver tolto la spina
dalla presa di corrente), e di rendere innocue quelle parti che sono pericolose
qualora utilizzate per gioco dai bambini.
Avvertenze per il corretto smaltimento del prodotto ai sensi della Direttiva Europea
direttiva 2011/65/UE.
Alla fine della sua vita utile il prodotto non deve esser smaltito insieme ai rifiuti urbani.
Può essere consegnato presso gli appositi centri di raccolta differenziata predisposti
dalle amministrazioni comunali, oppure presso i rivenditori che forniscono questo
servizio.
Smaltire separatamente un elettrodomestico consente di evitare possibili conseguenze
negative per l’ambiente e per la salute derivanti da un suo smaltimento inadeguato e
permette di recuperare i materiali di cui è composto al fine di ottenere un importante
risparmio di energia e di risorse. Per rimarcare l’obbligo di smaltire separatamente gli
elettrodomestici, sul prodotto è riportato il marchio del contenitore di spazzatura
mobile barrato. Lo smaltimento abusivo del prodotto da parte dell’utente comporta
l’applicazione delle sanzioni amministrative previste dalla normativa vigente.

The slotsbecome hot during operation:only

Warning: Bread can burn, so the toaster must
not be used in proximity to combustible

operation. If the bread or other parts burst into
flame, never attempt to put the fire out with
water.Disconnectthepowersupplybyturningoff
the control panel switch, and only then remove
the plug from the power socket and smother the
fire witha damp cloth.
Iftheapplianceisnotinuse,removetheplugfrom
the power socket, even if unused only for a few
moments.
The power socket must be easily accessible so
that the plug can be removed easily in an

The appliance must not be placed just below a

Attention: the temperature of the outer surface
may be high when theappliance is operating.
INSTALLATION
After removing the packaging, check that the appliance is intact; if in doubt, do
not use it and call in qualified staff. Packaging components (plastic bags,
expanded polystyrene, nails, etc.) must not be left within reach of children since
they are potentially hazardous; dispose of them in accordance with the current
law.
Before connecting the appliance, check that the voltage values marked on the
nameplate are the same as those of the electrical mains, and that the power
socket is properly earthed (the manufacturer declines all responsibility arising
from failure to comply with this rule). If the appliance's plug is not compatible
with the socket, have the socket replaced with another of suitable type by
qualified staff, who must ensure that the socket's wire gauge is suitable for the
appliance's power draw. Check that there are no other appliances drawing large
amounts of power on the electrical line, to avoid overloads and fire risks. In
general, the use of adapters and/or extension leads is not recommended; if their
use is unavoidable, they must comply with current safety regulations and their
current rating (amps) must be no lower than the maximum current draw of the
appliance.
Before each use, check that the appliance is in good condition and ensure that
the power cord is not damaged and do not switch it on unless certain it is intact:
if in doubt, call in qualified staff.
Place the appliance:
-well away from other heat sources (e.g. other ovens, gas hob, etc.), flammable
materials (upholstery, etc.), explosive materials (spray cans) and materials
which may warp in heat.
-on a firm, horizontal surface which does not have a delicate finish (e.g.
lacquered kitchen units, tablecloths, etc.), in a position where it cannot be
knocked, and far enough from the edge of the unit to ensure that it cannot fall
off.
-well away from containers holding liquids, such as sinks, etc. If it accidentally
gets wet or is immersed in a liquid, remove the plug from the power socket at
once, leave it to cool, dry it carefully and check that the electrical parts are not
wet; if in doubt, call in qualified staff.
Make sure that the cable is correctly positioned and is not in contact with hot
parts or sharp edges, or wound around the appliance or twisted, and does not

become entangled, to prevent the appliance from falling. Check that no-one
can trip over it, to avoid accidental falls or injuries.
Do not place the toaster underneath a wall unit or in a corner.
In case of a fault or malfunction, switch the appliance off and have it checked
by qualified staff.
USE
The toaster has the following regulator devices:
- “START” button: press fully down to start toasting; springs back to the raised
position to stop the process at the end of the programmed time.
- “STOP” button. Stops toasting: the start button automatically springs back to
the raised position.
- “DEFROST” button. Increases the toasting time by about 10%. Selected
immediately after toasting starts.
- “REHEAT” button. Toasts for about 30". Selected immediately after toasting
starts.
-TIMER. Sets the toasting time ①(min)= 50’’ ⑥(max)= 3’20’’ approx.: for
intermediate settings, the time is reduced proportionally.
- SUPPORT knob. Raises and retracts the croissant support above the slots, to
heat it during toasting. The support is extended and retracted by turning the
knob in one direction or the other. The support is only suitable for a standard
sized croissant or bread roll: neither so small that it may fall into the slot, nor too
large.
, and is complete with:
- CLAMPS: to secure the sandwich or slice of bread for toasting and insert it in
the 2 slots: the handle also releases the clamp for easier toast insertion and
removal.
- INDICATOR lights: signal the active functions.
- Crumb TRAY: inserted in the base to collect any crumbs during toasting. It is
removable and must be correctly fitted during use of the toaster.
- CABLE REEL underneath the base.
First use
Wash and dry the clamps and insert them in the slots (empty, without bread).
Connect the plug to the power socket. Turn the timer to the ⑥setting and press
the toaster's START button; this will burn off any production residues. At the end
of the set time, toasting will stop. If necessary, repeat this operation a second
time, after the one-minute cooling pause.

Use
Place the sandwich or slice of bread in the clamp and insert the clamp in the slot.
Connect the plug to the power socket. Set the timer and press the toasting
START button.
After use, remove the plug from the power socket and wait for the toaster to cool
completely before cleaning it or putting it away.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Warning: before cleaning the appliance, remove the plug from the power socket
and wait for it to cool completely. The appliance and all its components in contact
with foods (clamps, croissant warmer support, etc.) need thorough cleaning after
each use.
Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid and do not wash it
under running water or in a dishwasher.
Clean the clamps regularly; they can be cleaned with ordinary washing-up liquid,
using a soft scouring pad on the metal parts only.
Clean the crumb tray (3) regularly; otherwise, accumulated food residues on the
bottom might cause smoke and even catch fire; clean it with ordinary washing-
up liquid. Dry it before putting it back in place.
The outside surface must be cleaned with a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive
cleaners which might damage the surface.
When the appliance is out of use, cover it and store it in a dry place. Do not
immerse the toaster in water or any other liquid.
If you decide not to use the appliance any more, it must be rendered unusable
by cutting off the power supply cord (first making sure that the plug has been
removed from the power socket), and any parts which are hazardous if used as
children's playthings must be rendered harmless.
Information for correct disposal of the product under the European Directive
directive 2011/65/EU.
At the end of its lifetime, the product must not be disposed of with ordinary urban
waste.
It can be consigned to the special waste recycling centres provided by local
government, or by the retailers who provide this service.
Proper disposal of a household appliance prevents possible detrimental effects on
the environment or health arising from its incorrect disposal and allows the
recovery of its constituent materials, generating major savings of energy and
resources. The product bears the crossed-out symbol of a wheeled rubbish bin to
indicate that it must be disposed of separately. Illegal dumping of the appliance
by the user will be subject to prosecution under the relevant law.
