Ensure the area around the pole or optional ground sleeve installation is clear of obstructions. A minimum of 12'
diameter around the pole or ground sleeve is recommended.
1. Use Connector (B), 5/16" X 2 1/4" Hex Bolts (D) and 5/16" Lock Nuts (E) to assemble Tetherball Poles (A).
Make sure the anti rotation notch is down on both Tetherball Poles (A). Insert the Eye Bolt (C) into the hole on the
top of Tetherball Pole (A), use 5/16" Lock Nut (E) to secure Eye Bolt (C) to Tetherball Pole (A). Install Pole Cap
(F) on top of Tetherball Pole (A) See Figure 1.
2. If you intend to permanently install the Tetherball Pole (A) into the ground, dig an 8” diameter by 30”
deep hole and proceed to instruction #4. See Figure 2.
2. If you intend to use the optional Ground Socket (H) to allow removal of the Tetherball Pole (A) when
not in use, follow the instructions provided in the Ground Socket (H).
3. Mix the 60# Premix Concrete (I) to relatively dry consistency and fill the hole to within approximately
2” from the top.
4. Insert Tetherball Pole (A) into the center of the concrete agitating it as it is lowered. Ensure the
Tetherball Pole (A) extends 10’ above the playing surface and is plumb as the concrete cures.
See Figure 2.
5. Add 60# Premix Concrete (D) if necessary to fill the remaining void, finish top of concrete and wipe
excess concrete from Tetherball Pole (A).
6. Install the TB50-B Tetherball Assembly (G) onto the Tetherball Pole (A) using instructions supplied with
the TB50-B Tetherball Assembly (G) after the concrete is fully cured.
