Attachhandletovacuum
1. Locatethebagthatcontainsthe extension
wandsupport,owercordwrap,andscrews.
Removethe screwpacketfromthe bag.
2. Standthevacuumuprightandfromthe rear
ofthe unit,slidethe baseofthe handlefirmly
intothegroovesatthetop ofthe vacuum
body.
3. Ensurethatthe handleisfirmly attachedto
thevacuumbody.Thefrontofthe handle
shouldbeflushwith thefrontof thevacuum
body. Ifthereareanygaps,continueto push
the handleuntilit is secure.
,Removetwoofthe fourscrewsfromthe
screwpacket.Insertonescrew,intoeachof
the existingholesinthe handle.Witha
screwdriver,tighteneachscrewcompletely.
Attachstorageclips, tools, andvacuumhose
,Locatemebagmatcontainsmeextensionwand
support,lowercordwrap,andremainingtwo
screws.
2. Attachmeextensionwandsupporttotherear
ofmeunit.Extensionwandsupportshouldbe
placedabouthalfwaydownmevacuumbody.
Usingoneofmetworemainingscrews,insertone
screwintomeexisfdnghole.Wireascrewdriver,
ldghtenscrewcompletely.
3. Attachmelowercordwraptotherearofmeunit.
Lowercordwrapshouldbeplacedtowardme
bottomofmevacuumbody.Usingmelastscrew,
insertscrewintotheexisfdnghole.Witha
screwdriver,fdghtencompletely.
4a. AttachTwist'nSnapTM hosebyplacingmetabbed
endofmehoseintomeopeningofmeunit,
locatedonmeleftsideofthevacuum(when
viewingfrommeback.)
4b. Turnmehosetomerighttolockintoplace.Place
meworkingendofmehoseintomeholeonme
rightsideoftheunit,nearmewheel.
NOTE:Thevacuumwill not operate
effectivelyunlessthehoseisfirmly
attached.

Transportingyourcleaner
1. Tomoveyourcleanerfrom roomto room,
putthe handlein the uprightposition,tilt
the cleanerbackon its rear wheelsand
pushforward.
2. Thecleanercanalsobe movedbyusingthe
carryhandleonthefront.
PowerCord
Tostorepowercord,wrapcordaroundthe upper
cordwrapandlowerextensionwandsupport.
Oncewoundtightlyusetheclipontheendofthe
plugtoattachtheplugtothecord.
Toreleasethepowercord,rotatetheuppercord
wrapdownandgentlypullthepowercordoffof
the uppercordwrap.

Operation
Brush Switch
Therotatingbrushisturnedonoroffusingthe
switchlocatednextto thepowerswitchonthe
topofthetank. Whenthebrushswitchison,the
brushwillstart rotatingwhentheunitisreclined.
Thebrushshouldbeonfor mostcarpetedfloors.
Youmaywanttoturnthe brushofffor barefloor
cleaningorotherdelicatesurfaces.
Pushthe rockerswitch"ON"(I)toturnthebrush
on,and"OFF"(0)toturnbrushoff.
Height Adjustments
Therearesevenheightsettingsavailablefor
variousfloorsurfaces.Turnthedialonthefootof
thecleanertothedesiredsetting.
Lowestsetting- for low pilecarpetor bare
floors.Topick updebris it may benecessary
to moveupone setting.
Mediumsettings- for mediumpilecarpet.

withwear.Repeatedstrokesinthesamearea
mayaggravatethiscondition.Considersetting
yourcleanerona higherthannormalsettingfor

Brush Auto Shut Off Feature
Whenyourcleanerisin theuprightposi-

1. Makesurethe cleaneris in the upright

1. Ensuredirt containerhasbeenemptied.
.Whilethe dirt containerisstill out ofthe unit,
graspthe innercyclonescreenandtwist to
the right untilthe lockingtabs stopthe
rotation.Pulldown the innercyclonescreen
to removeit.
3. Cleanthe innercyclonewith acloth or soft
brushto removedust or debris.

Wipeoutthe insideofthe uppertank and
the innercyclonewith a dampcloth moist-
enedwith wateror a mild cleaningsolution.
Let completelydry beforenextuse.
Ifdesired,the lower dirt containermaybe
washedin warm water.Makesureit is

put in the dishwasher.
Toreassemble,replacethe innercyclone
screenbyslidingit intothe uppertank and
rotatingit to the left untilthe lockingtabs
stopthe rotation.The innercyclonescreen
is labeledfront andback.Whenproperly
assembledthe front graphicshouldface out.

Cleaning the pre-motor filter
Thepre-motorfiltershouldbechecked
often andwashedas neededtomaintain
performance. Moreor lessfrequent
cleaningmayberequiredbasedon
individualvacuuminghabitsandtypesof
debrispicked up.
1. Unplugthevacuumfromelectrical
outlet.
.Thepre-motorfilter protectsthe
motorfrom dirt particles.It islocatedin the
slideout tray underneaththe dirt container.If
the filter becomesdirty,pull out the tray,lift
out the foamfilter padand cleanit.
Note- The.pre.-motor filter may be
ano wasneo in cold water with mild
detergent. Rinse well and air dry
thoroughly before replacing.
ReplacingtheHEPAmediafiltercartridge
Thepost-motor HEPAmediafilterassistsin
thefiltrationprocessto returncleanairto
theroom.It islocatedunderthepre-motor
filtertray.Unitmustbedetentedtolocate
thepost-motor HEPAmediafilter.
TheHEPAmediafilter cartridgeshouldbe
replacedifmachineperformanceis

Whenthethermalprotectoractivates,themain
vacuummotorwillstopoperating.Ifthishappens,

electricaloutlet.

wraparoundthebrushandhamperits
abilityto effectivelycleanyourcarpet.Also
removeanydebristhathasaccumulated
underthebrushcover.

graspingthe bulb andpullinggently.Install
the new bulbby pushingit gentlyinto the
socket untilthe bulb snapsinto place.
Repositionthe lensoverheadlightbyfirst
insertingtab on lower portionof the cover
intothe vacuumfoot.Pushgently oncover
to lock tabs intoplace.
