vapours given off by oil base paint, paint thinner, some
mothproofing substances, flammable dust, or other

nails, screws, coins, etc.
» Keep appliance on a level surface.
» Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking,
such as cigarettes, matches, or hot ashes.
» Do not use without all filters in place.
» This appliance is provided with double insulation. Use
only identical replacement parts.
» Unplug before connecting or disconnecting the
TurboBrush® Tool.
» Hold plug when rewinding onto cord reel. Do not allow
plug to whip when rewinding.
» Use only the type and amount of liquids specified
under the Operations section of this guide.
» Liquid must not be directed towards equipment
containing electrical components.

Insert vacuum separator into
collection tank top lid and
press firmly into place.
Open top cover by pulling
out and then up on top
cover lever. Continue to lift
up until top cover locks

WARNING
Do not plug in your cleaner until you have completely assembled it per the following
instructions and are familiar with all instructions and operating procedures.

IMPORTANT
Your cleaner is a water filtration vacuum. NEVER use it with the vacuum separator installed
without adding clean tap water inside the collection tank. You MUST fill the collection tank
with clean tap water to the clean water fill line on the back of the collection tank for the
cleaner to function properly. Vacuuming without clean water in the collection tank may
cause damage to the motor and may void the guarantee.

Filling Your Tank:

“clean water fill line” on back of tank.

Filling Your Tank:
Wet Clean Mode

Open top cover by pulling
out and then up on top
cover lever. Continue to lift
lever until top cover locks
into open position.

Place collection tank
back into body and close
top cover, pushing down
firmly to lock into place.

Remove collection tank
from body and set aside.
NOTE: Fill with hot (140°F/60°C MAX) tap water and add the appropriate
BISSELL solution. DO NOT USE BOILING WATER. DO NOT HEAT WATER OR
TANK IN MICROWAVE. Be sure to use BISSELL cleaning formulas when wet
cleaning. Do not substitute BISSELL cleaning formula with other household
cleaning products as permanent machine damage may occur.
Remove solution tank by
pulling up and out of body.
Unscrew cap from top of
solution tank and fill with
clean, hand-hot tap water to
water fill line. Add BISSELL 2X
cleaning formula to formula fill
line (74 ml). Screw cap back
onto solution tank and place
back into body.
FORMULA:
a) For carpet and upholstery cleaning, use BISSELL 2X
cleaning formulas for carpet and upholstery.
b) For sealed hard floor cleaning, use BISSELL 2X cleaning
formula for hard floors.

Water Filter Vacuuming
Suction power can be increased or decreased to clean
a variety of surfaces. Push + control on top panel to
increase suction power, push – control to decrease
suction power.
NOTE: Surface icon will illuminate when suction power
+ or – control matches surface.
HELPFUL TIP
If cleaner loses suction, stop vacuuming and check collection tank full level,
pre-motor filters, collection tank filter and post-motor filters.

Tips Before Wet Cleaning
WARNING To reduce the risk of fire and electric shock due to internal
component damage, use only BISSELL cleaning formula intended for use with this cleaner.
Non-BISSELL cleaning formula may harm the machine and void the guarantee.
• Plan activities to give carpets and upholstery time to dry.
• Thoroughly dry vacuum area to be cleaned
• If wet cleaning carpet, plan your cleaning route to leave an exit path.
It is best to begin cleaning in the corner farthest from your exit.
• Check for colourfastness in an inconspicuous place.
• If possible, check upholstery stung. Coloured stung may bleed
through fabric when wet.

For carpet cleaning,
attach wet clean
floor tool to end of
extension wand and
attach solution hose
to grip connector.
ATTENTION
Do not over wet carpet.
IMPORTANT
If using in wet clean mode to clean upholstery, be sure to check
manufacturer’s tags before cleaning: “W” or “WS” on the tag means you can
use your cleaner. If the tag is coded with an “X” or “S” (with a diagonal stripe
through it,) or says “Dry Clean Only,” do not proceed with wet cleaning. Do
not use on velvet or silk. If manufacturer’s tag is missing or not coded, check
with furniture manufacturer or dealer.

HELPFUL TIP
If cleaner loses suction, stop wet cleaning and check collection tank as
suction will shut o when float inside collection tank reaches full level. If
cleaner stops spraying, immediately press power button o and check
solution tank level.
For upholstery
cleaning, attach wet
clean upholstery tool
directly to grip and
attach solution hose
to grip connector.
Place wet clean floor tool directly
on carpet and press spray trigger to
spray cleaning solution while pulling
tool back towards you. Release spray
trigger and make slow backward dry
passes over the same area to remove
any residual water. Continue to clean
entire surface until no more dirt can be
removed.
Attach the wet clean
soft surface tool
adapter directly to grip.
Attach solution hose
to grip connector and
attach cleaning tool to
end of adapter.

Tips Before Wet Cleaning

Connect the hard
floor attachment
to bottom of wet
clean floor tool by
pushing in button
on side of tool
with one hand and
with other hand
slide hard floor

CLEANING WITH SQUEEGEE INSERT
Rest squeegee on hard floor surface and press spray trigger to moisten floor
with cleaning solution while pulling tool back towards you. Release spray
trigger, tilt tool forward and pull back across cleaned floor with stationary
squeegee engaged to remove any residual water. Continue to clean entire
surface with wet then dry backwards strokes.
ATTENTION
Do not over saturate mop pad.

CLEANING WITH MOPPING INSERT
Rest mop pad on hard floor surface and press spray trigger
to moisten pad with cleaning solution. Move tool back
and forth as needed, using solution and mop pad to clean.
Release spray trigger, tilt tool forward and pull back across
cleaned floor with stationary squeegee engaged to remove
any residual water. Continue to clean entire surface with wet
mopping strokes and then dry backwards strokes.

Empty Collection Tank
WARNING
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or injury, turn power OFF and disconnect plug from
electrical outlet before performing maintenance or troubleshooting.
Insert proper
separator back into
top lid and place
on tank. Place tank
back onto body
and close top cover.
Reconnect hose
and solution hose.
NOTE: If dry debris accumulated in back chamber of collection tank, slowly and
carefully empty dirty water out first. Then, empty dry debris into a trash container.
Lift collection tank
up and out of body.

sink, toilet or
outside and
rinse clean.
Disconnect hose
from cleaner.
Allow all parts to
dry then reassemble
back onto top lid.

either indented
side of connector.
Solution hose
will pop out of
connector.
Remove pill-shaped float
from stack and sponge filter
from under top lid and rinse
all under running tap water.
Remove float assembly
from top lid by turning
counterclockwise to unlock
and pulling straight down.

Open top cover. Remove
separator and rinse under
running tap water.

inside of tank and rinse
both filter and tank clean

Insert proper separator back into
top lid and place on tank. Place
tank back onto body and close
top cover. Reconnect hose and

Cleaning Machine After Use
WARNING
To reduce the risk of electric shock, turn power switch o and disconnect plug from
electrical outlet before performing maintenance or troubleshooting checks.
Hold the plug
and press the
cord rewind
button.
Disconnect solution
hose from connector
by pushing in on
either indented side
of connector. Solution
hose will pop out of
connector.
Remove hard floor
attachment by pressing
tab on front of tool and
pulling down to unlock
from tool. Then, push in
button on side of tool to
release attachment.

NOTE: Cleaning solution can be left in the solution tank for next use.
Remove all tools that
were used and rinse
clean under running tap
water. Allow to air dry
completely before storing.
Store all cleaned and
dried separators and
tools in tool storage bag.
Store cleaner and tool
storage bag in protected,
dry area at room
temperature (4⁰ to 43⁰ C).
Disconnect hose and
empty any residual water
in a sink. Run tap water
through hose to rinse clean.
Allow to air dry completely
before storing.

Maintenance: Pre-Motor Filter
WARNING
To reduce the risk of electric shock, turn power switch o and disconnect plug from
electrical outlet before performing maintenance or troubleshooting checks.
Remove filter door by
pulling up on tab on front
of filter door, lifting out of
cleaner and setting aside.

Remove bottom
pleated filter. If
filters are dirty,
replace with new
filters or rinse clean
under running tap
water. Allow to
air dry completely
before placing back
into cleaner.
Once filter door is
removed, lift out top
foam filter.
Maintenance: Post-Motor Filter
Open top cover and remove
collection tank and solution
tank; set aside.

tabs on back of
door into notches
in pre-motor
filter opening and
pushing down on
door until tab on
front locks into
place.

of filter door. Remove filter
door by pushing tab on side
of filter door in and pulling

Remove top foam filter
and bottom sponge filter.
If filters are dirty, replace
with new filters or rinse
clean under running tap
water. Allow to air dry

back into filter door.
To re-attach filter door,
insert two tabs on side
of door into notches in
side of post-motor filter
opening and push door
back in to place until tab
on opposite side of door

This Guarantee is given to the original purchaser of the product from
new and is not transferable. You must be able to evidence the date
of purchase in order to claim under this Guarantee.
Limited Two-Year Guarantee
Subject to the *EXCEPTIONS AND EXCLUSIONS identified below,
BISSELL will for two years from the date of purchase by the
original purchaser repair or replace (with new or remanufactured
components or products), at BISSELL’s option, free of charge, any
defective or malfunctioning part or product.
BISSELL recommends that the original packaging and evidence
of the date of purchase be kept for the duration of the Guarantee
period in case the need arises within the period to claim on the
Guarantee. Keeping the original packaging will assist with any
necessary re-packaging and transportation but is not a condition of
the Guarantee.
If for your product is replaced by BISSELL under this Guarantee,
the new item will benefit from the remainder of the term of this
Guarantee (calculated from the date of the original purchase). The
period of this Guarantee shall not be extended whether or not
your product is repaired or replaced.
*EXCEPTIONS AND EXCLUSIONS FROM
THE TERMS OF THE GUARANTEE
This Guarantee applies to products used for personal domestic use and
not commercial or hire purposes. Consumable components such as
filters, belts and mop pads, which must be replaced or serviced by the
user from time to time, are not covered by this Guarantee.
This Guarantee does not apply to any defect arising from fair wear
and tear. Damage or malfunction caused by the user or any third
party whether as a result of accident, negligence, abuse, neglect, or
any other use not in accordance with the User Guide is not covered
by this Guarantee.
An unauthorised repair (or attempted repair) may void this Guarantee
whether or not damage has been caused by that repair/attempt.
Removing or tampering with the Product Rating Label on the
product or rendering it illegible will void this Guarantee.
SAVE AS SET OUT BELOW BISSELL AND ITS DISTRIBUTORS ARE NOT
LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE THAT IS NOT FORESEEABLE
OR FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY
NATURE ASSOCIATED WITH THE USE OF THIS PRODUCT INCLUDING
WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFIT, LOSS OF BUSINESS, BUSINESS
INTERRUPTION, LOSS OF OPPORTUNITY, DISTRESS, INCONVENIENCE OR
DISAPPOINTMENT. SAVE AS SET OUT BELOW BISSELL’S LIABILITY WILL
NOT EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT.
BISSELL DOES NOT EXCLUDE OR LIMIT IN ANY WAY ITS LIABILITY FOR
(A) DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY CAUSED BY OUR NEGLIGENCE OR THE
NEGLIGENCE OF OUR EMPLOYEES, AGENTS OR SUBCONTRACTORS; (B)
FRAUD OR FRAUDULENT MISREPRESENTATION; (C) OR FOR ANY OTHER
MATTER WHICH CANNOT BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED UNDER LAW.
