ATV/UTV IMPLEMENTS

WARNINGS

• For use ONLY on ATV or UTV equipment. DO NOT attach to cars, trucks, tractors, etc…

• Use caution when operating an ATV or UTV with equipment attached to the unit. Additional weight can change the handling and maneuvering

characteristics of the ATV/UTV. Allow more distance for braking and turning. Turning radius will be increased due to additional weight on the rear

of the vehicle.

• It is recommended to use the Black Boar Suspension Lock System when using the Implement Lift with an ATV.

• Do not exceed ATV/UTV manufacturers’recommended towing capacity.

• Follow all ATV/UTV manufacturers’warnings.

• Do not operate ATV/UTV faster than 5 MPH when using the Black Boar Implements.

• Do not operate any of the Black Boar Implements in reverse.

• Do not traverse terrain with steep grades.The weight distribution of the ATV/UTV will be signicantly aected by the attachment of the Black Boar

Implement Lift and Implements, changing the center of gravity and typical handling characteristics, which may result in overturning the vehicle.

• Do not traverse terrain with abrupt changes – such as ditches or terraces. The cantilevered load of the Implement Lift and Implements may impact

the ground causing implement damage, vehicle damage, and/or bodily harm to the operator.

• Use the minimum amount of down force from the Implement Lift to accomplish the job. Too much down force will lift the rear of the ATV/UTV –

reducing traction and potentially causing undue stress on the vehicle chassis. It is preferred to make multiple shallow passes rather than fewer

strenuous deep passes.

• The Black Boar Implement Lift Actuator is equipped with a force limiting clutch. This clutch is designed to limit the down force and lifting force

of the Implement Lift. When this force threshold is reached, an audible‘clicking’can be heard. If this audible cue is heard cease actuation of the

Implement Lift. Reduce the load or down force – continued slipping of the clutch will reduce the life of the Actuator. It is normal to hear the

audible cue at the top and bottom of the stroke of the actuator.

• Do not use the Actuator clutch mechanism to set down force for implement depth. This maximum down force may exceed the capabilities of the

ATV/UTV.

• Monitor your ATV/UTV while using the implements to ensure the engine or other components are not adversely aected by the earth moving

process. Take periodic breaks to allow ATV/UTV to cool.

• The Implement Lift should be actuated remotely using the Control Grip. Keep all bodies away from Implement Lift and Implements during use.

• The Implement Lift should not be used for lifting anything other than the securely attached implement in use. Do not lift or carry persons on the

Implement Lift or any attached Implement.

• The Black Boar Implement Lift should be used only with Black Boar Implements.

Chisel Plow Assembly

1. Remove all contents from box and arrange components in an area where all components can be laid out for assembly.

2. Insert (1) Chisel (Item 2) into Bracket (Item 1) slot. Align hole in Chisel (Item 2) with hole in Bracket (Item 1) and secure with

(1) Chisel Pin (Item 6), and (1) Linch Pin (Item 7). Close Linch Pin to lock in place. See Figs. Below.

NOTE: Repeat this step for all 6 Chisels (Item 2).

3. Repeat step 2 for all Chisel assemblies, then attach to the Implement Lift. Attach each Chisel assembly using (1) Carriage Bolt (Item 3),

(1) 1/2" Washer (Item 4), and (1) 1/2" - 13 Locknut (Item 5). Install the rst Chisel assembly 4 inches from the end of the Implement Bar and all

others 6 inches apart.Tighten Connections. Proper orientation is critical to prevent components of the Implement Lift from colliding and potentially

causing damage. See Figs. Below

Implement Lift Operation

This Implement Lift is equipped with a linear actuator with an over load prevention clutch to quickly raise and lower implements as needed for proper

soil preparation. The raising and lowering of the Implement Lift is controlled by the Control Grip. This ergonomic grip can be mounted using the hook

and loop strap or operated from a hand hold orientation. With your chosen Implement mounted to the Implement Bar, raise and lower the Implement

for travel to and from the worksite and to properly control the down force of the Implement into the ground. This action is readily achieved using the

two position switch on the Control Grip.

LIMITED WARRANTY

ThisWarranty applies solely to the Black Boar Chisel Plow Implement (the "Product") manufactured by Camco Manufacturing,

Inc. ("Camco")

1. Warranty andWarranty Period. Camco warrants to the original purchaser or consumer (the "Purchaser") of the Product will

be free of defects in manufacture and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of consumer purchase or Camco

will replace the Product free of charge (the "Warranty").ThisWarranty is non-transferrable and applies only to the original

vehicle on which the Product was installed.

2. Limitations on theWarranty.This Warranty does not cover the following: (a) normal wear and tear; (b) service or labor

charges which are incurred in removing or replacing any Product; (c) the nish placed on the Product; (d) Product damage or

failure which occurs as a result of abuse, neglect or misuse in any manner; and (e) damage which occurs to a Product that is

misapplied, overloaded, improperly installed, or altered in any manner by anyone other than Camco.

3. Obligation of Purchaser. To obtain the benets of this Warranty, the Purchaser must complete the following steps:

(a) ll out onlineWarranty Registration within 10 days of purchase at www.camco.net/warranty; (b) promptly present the

defective Product together with the proof of purchase to any of Camco dealer, distributor, or return it to the factory located

at 121 Landmark Drive, Greensboro, NC 27409 and (c) pay all handling, transportation, and shipping charges incurred for the

return of the defective Product. Any defective Product returned to Camco shall become the property of Camco.

4. Obligations of Camco. Subject to the terms and limitations set forth in thisWarranty, Camco’s sole obligation will be to

replace for the original Purchaser free of charge any Product that is found to be defective.

5. Legal Rights.THISWARRANTY GIVESYOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS ANDYOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTSWHICH

VARY FROM STATETO STATE. CAMCO MAKES NO EXPRESSED OR IMPLIEDWARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS

GARANTIE RESTREINTE

Cette Garantie ne concerne que l'extirpateur lourd Black Boar (le «Produit») fabriqué par Camco Manufacturing,Inc.

(«Camco»)

1. Garantie et période de garantie. Camco garantit à l'acheteur initial ou au consommateur («l'Acheteur») du Produit que

ce dernier ne présentera pas de défauts quant à sa fabrication et à sa qualité d'exécution pendant 12mois, à partir de la

date d'achat. Dans le cas contraire, Camco remplacera gratuitement le Produit (la «garantie»). Cette Garantie n'est pas

transférable et concerne uniquement le premier véhicule sur lequel le Produit a été installé.

2. Restrictions de Garantie. Cette Garantie ne couvre pas les conditions suivantes: (a)l'usure normale; (b)les frais d'entre-

tien ou de main d'œuvre découlant du retrait ou du remplacement d'un quelconque Produit; (c)les nitions apportées à

un Produit; (d)les dommages ou les dysfonctionnements d'un Produit apparaissant suite à une utilisation abusive, une

négligence ou une quelconque mauvaise utilisation; et (e)les dommages causés à un Produit mal utilisé, surchargé, mal

installé ou modié de quelque manière que ce soit par quelqu'un d'autre que Camco.

3. Obligations de l'Acheteur. Pour bénécier de cette Garantie, l'Acheteur doit suivre les étapes suivantes:

(a) remplir le formulaire de garantie en ligne dans les 10jours suivant la date d'achat sur www.camco.net/warranty;

(b) présenter rapidement le Produit défectueux accompagné de la preuve d'achat à n'importe quel concessionnaire ou

distributeur Camco ou le renvoyer à l'usine située à l'adresse 121Landmark Drive / Greensboro, NC27409, É.-U. et (c)

s'acquitter des frais d'acheminement, de transport et d'expédition occasionnés par le renvoi du Produit défectueux. Tout

Montage de l'extirpateur lourd

1. Déballez tous les composants de la boîte, et disposez les composants à un endroit où ils peuvent être exposés en vue du montage.

2. Insérez le (1) chisel (élément2) dans la fente du support (élément1). Alignez le trou dans le chisel (élément2) avec le trou du support (élément1), et xez

solidement avec (1) la tige de chisel (élément6) et (1) la goupille (élément7). Fermez la goupille pour l'enclencher.Voir gs. ci-dessous.

REMARQUE: Répétez cette étape pour tous les 6chisels (élément2).

3. Répétez l'étape2 pour tous les chisels, puis xez au dispositif de levage d'instrument. Fixez le chisel à l'aide du (1) boulon de carrosserie (élément3), (1) de

la rondelle 1/2po (élément4), et (1) du contre-écrou 1/2po - 13 (élément5). Installez le premier chisel à 4pouces de l'extrémité de la barre de l'instrument.

Tous les autres doivent être espacés de 6po. Serrez les raccords. Une orientation correcte est essentielle pour éviter que les composants du dispositif de levage

d'instrument ne se heurtent et ne causent éventuellement des dommages.Voir gures. ci-dessous

Utilisation du dispositif de levage d'instrument

Ce dispositif de levage d'instrument est équipé d'un actionneur linéaire muni d'un embrayage de prévention des surcharges, qui relève et abaisse rapidement les

instruments selon les besoins, pour le bon travail du sol. Le relevage et l'abaissement du dispositif de levage d'instrument sont contrôlés par la Poignée de commande.

Cette poignée ergonomique peut être xée au moyen d'une sangle autoagrippante. Elle peut aussi être utilisée en orientant le guidon. Après avoir xé l'instrument

que vous avez choisi à la Barre de l'instrument, relevez et abaissez l'instrument pour aller d'un point à l'autre du chantier, et pour bien contrôler la déportance de

l'instrument dans le sol. Cette action s'eectue facilement en utilisant le commutateur à deux positions situé sur la poignée de commande.

OUTILS POUR VTT ET UTV

AVERTISSEMENTS

• Pour utilisation exclusive sur un véhicule tout-terrain (VTT) ou un véhicule utilitaire (UV). NE l'attachez PAS aux véhicules, aux camions, aux tracteurs, etc.

• Soyez prudent lorsque vous utilisez unVTT ou un VU avec un équipement xé à l'unité. Le poids supplémentaire peut modier le comportement et la

manœuvrabilité duVTT/VU. Gardez une distance susante pour les freinages et les tournants. Le rayon de braquage va augmenter en raison du poids

supplémentaire à l'arrière du véhicule.

• L'utilisation du système de blocage de suspension Black Boar est conseillée quand on utilise le dispositif de levage d'instrument avec unVTT.

• Ne dépassez pas la capacité de remorquage recommandée par le fabricant pour unVTT/VU.

• Respectez tous les avertissements du fabricant à l'égard desVTT/VU.

• Ne faites pas rouler unVTT/VU à plus de 8km/h (5mi/h) quand vous utilisez des instruments Black Boar.

• N'utilisez jamais des instruments Black Boar en marche arrière.

• Ne franchissez jamais des terrains en pentes abruptes. La répartition du poids du VTT/VU sera fortement inuencée par l'installation du dispositif de levage

d'instrument et des instruments Black Boar, modiant ainsi le centre de gravité et le comportement type du véhicule. Ce qui peut occasionner un retournement

du véhicule.

• Ne franchissez jamais des terrains ayant des changements abrupts, comme les fossés ou les terrasses. La charge en porte à faux du dispositif de levage

d'instrument et celle des instruments peut aecter le terrain et causer des dégâts à l'instrument, au véhicule, et/ou des lésions corporelles à l'opérateur.

• Pour faire vos travaux, utilisez un minimum de déportance du dispositif de levage d'instrument. Une trop grande déportance soulève l'arrière duVTT/VU, ce qui

compromet la traction et cause parfois une sollicitation excessive du châssis du véhicule. Il est préférable de faire plusieurs passages peu profonds que de faire

peu de passages profonds et pénibles.

• L'actionneur du dispositif de levage d'instrument Black Boar est équipé d'un embrayage à limitation de force. Cet embrayage est censé limiter la déportance

et la force de levage du dispositif de levage d'instrument. Quand ce seuil de force est atteint, un «déclic» sonore se fait entendre. Si vous entendez ce signal

sonore, cessez de manier le dispositif de levage d'instrument. Réduisez la charge ou la déportance: le patinage continu de l'embrayage réduira la durée de vie de

l'actionneur. Il est normal que le signal sonore se fasse entendre lorsque l'actionneur est au point le plus élevé et le plus bas de sa course.

• N'utilisez pas le mécanisme d'embrayage de l'actionneur pour régler la déportance de la profondeur de l'instrument. Cette déportance maximale peut dépasser

les capacités duVTT/VU.

• Surveillez votreVTT/VU pendant l'utilisation des instruments pour s'assurer que le moteur ou les autres composants ne subissent pas les eets néfastes du

processus de terrassement. Prenez des pauses périodiques pour permettre que leVTT/VU refroidisse.

• Le dispositif de levage d'instrument doit être actionné à distance à l'aide de la Poignée de commande. Gardez toutes les parties du corps à l'écart du dispositif de

levage d'instrument et des instruments pendant leur utilisation.

• Évitez d'utiliser le dispositif de levage d'instrument pour soulever autre chose que l'instrument en service solidement xé. Ne soulevez ni ne portez des personnes
