WORK AREA SAFETY
• Keep work area clean and well lit

PERSONAL SAFETY
• Be attentive, concentrate on the job and use common sense when working with power tools. Do not operate a power
tool when you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of carelessness when using the
power tool can lead to serious injury.
• Avoid unintentionally starling the power tool. Ensure that the power switch is in the‘OFF’position before connecting the
power tool to the mains. Carrying the power tool with your finger on the trigger or connecting the power tool to mains
when switched on can lead to accidents.
• Remove any adjusting tools or keys before turning the power tool on. A tool or key connected to a rotating part of the
power tool can lead to injuries.
• Do not over-reach. Maintain a stable posture and keep your balance. This can improve your control over the power tool in
unexpected situations.
• Wear appropriate clothing. Do not wear loose fitting clothes or jewellery. Keep hair, clothing, and gloves away from
moving parts. Loose fitting clothes, jewellery or long hair can be caught up in moving parts.
• lf dust extraction or collection power tools can be fitted, ensure these are connected and correctly operated. Using these
power tools reduces the danger posed by dust

ELECTRICAL SAFETY
• The main plug must fit the socket. The plug may not be modified in any way. Do not use adaptors with earthed
equipment. Unmodified plugs and appropriate sockets reduce the risk of electric shock.
• Avoid bodily contact with earthed objects (such as pipes, radiators, ovens and refrigerators). There is an increased risk
of electric shock when your body is earthed.
• Keep the power tool out of rain and wet environments. Water increases the risk of electric shock.
• Do not use the main cable for purposes for which it is not intended, such as carrying or hanging up the power tool and
do not pull the cable to disconnect the tool or the charger from the mains. Protect the cable from heat, oil, sharp edges
and moving parts.
• Damaged or twisted cables increase the risk of electric shock. Damaged mains cables must be replaced using original
Blaupunkt replacement parts Main cables may only be replaced by the manufacturer, an authorised service centre or
qualified person.
• Check extension cables regularly for signs of damage. Damaged extension cables must be replaced. Cable reels should
only be used when fully unwound.
ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELDS EMF
• This Power Tool complies with all standards regarding electromagnetic fields (EMF). lf handled properly and according
to the instructions in this user manual, the Power Tool is safe to use based on scientific evidence available today.
DANGER
• Never soak/immerse the power tool in water or any other liquids.
• Do not put cleaning detergents, vinegar or other cleansers on to the power tool.
• Do not use chemically processed water.
WARNING
• Check if the voltage quoted on the model plate of the power tool is suitable for the local mains voltage before
connecting the Power Tool to the mains.
• DO NOT use if the Power Tool has signs of damage to the mains plug / cable, casing or if the Power Tool itself is
damaged). lf the Power Tool leaks or is cracked DO NOT use.
• Please contact Blaupunkt if your Power Tool is damaged.
• Do not allow the Power Tool to run unattended. Always switch the Power Tool off and unplug from the mains when
not in use. Do not leave the power tool until it has come to a complete stop. - DO NOT LEAVE THE POWER TOOL
UNATTENDED IN THE PRESENCE OF CHILDREN OR ANIMALS.
• Keep children far from the area where you are working and DO NOT allow children to drag / pull the power cable, this
could cause serious injury.
• Do not use other high-power electrical Power Tools on the same circuit, this will help prevent overload.
• Always place and use the Power Tool on a stable, level and horizontal surface.
• Disconnect the power tool from the mains switch in the locked off position before making any adjustments, changing
accessories, or storing the power tool. Such preventative safety measures reduce the risk of starting the power tool
accidentally.
• Use clamps or another practical way to secure and support the work piece to a stable platform. Holding the work by
hand or against your body is unstable and may lead to a loss of control.
• Maintain / clean power tools with care
• Use only accessories that are recommended by the Blaupunkt for your model. Accessories that may be suitable for one
power tool may create a risk of injury when used on another power tool.

SPECIAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR ANGLE GRINDERS
• Check that the maximum speed indicated on the grinding disc corresponds to the maximum speed of the machine.
The speed of the machine must not exceed the value on the grinding disc.
• Make sure that the dimensions of the grinding disc correspond to the specifications of the machine.
• Make sure that the grinding disc has been mounted and fastened properly. Do not use reducing rings or adapters to
make the grinding disc fit properly.
• Treat and store grinding discs in conformance with the supplier’s instructions.
• Do not use the machine for grinding workpieces with a maximum thickness exceeding the maximum grinding depth
of the grinding disc.
• Do not use grinding discs for deburring.
• When grinding discs have to be mounted on the thread of the spindle, make sure that the spindle has sufficient thread.
Make sure that the spindle is sufficiently protected and does not touch the grinding surface.
• Before use, inspect the grinding disc for any damage. Do not use grinding discs which are cracked, ripped or otherwise
damaged.
• Before use, let the machine run idle for 30 seconds.
• Immediately switch off the machine in case of abnormal vibrations or occurrence of another defect. Carefully inspect
the machine and grinding disc before switching the machine on again.
• Make sure that sparks do not put people into danger or that they contact highly flammable substances.
• Make sure that the workpiece is sufficiently supported or clamped. Keep your hands away from the surface to be cut.
• Always wear safety goggles and hearing protection. If desired or required also use another kind of protection like for
example an apron or helmet.
• Ensure that mounted wheels and points are fitted in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
• Ensure that blotters are used when they are provided with the bonded abrasive product and when they are required.
• If a guard is supplied with the tool never use the tool without such a guard.
• For tools intended to be fitted with threaded hole wheel, ensure that the thread in the wheel is long enough to accept
the spindle length.
• Ensure that ventilation openings are kept clear when working in dusty conditions. If it should become necessary to
clear dust, first disconnect the tool from the mains supply (use nonmetallic objects) and avoid damaging internal parts.
• Though poor conditions of the electrical mains, shortly voltage drops can appear when starting the equipment. This
can influence other equipment (eq. blinking of a lamp). If the mains-impedance Zmax <0.348 Ohm, such disturbances
are not expected (in case of need, you may contact your local supply authority for further information).
• With suitable accessories, the angle grinder can be used for grinding and cutting (With a cutting disk) metal or stone.
To use the tool for cutting, purchase a suitable cutting disk (not included in the product package-purchase it at a store
that offers such accessories). Following the instructions contained in this manual will ensure safe use of the appliance.
The product is designed for private/household use only, not suitable for professional use.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
INSTALLING AND REMOVING THE SIDE HANDLE
ENSURE THATTHE PLUG IS NOT INTHE SOCKET WHEN FITTING OR REMOVING THE AUXILIARY HANDLE.
• To attach the side handle (4) screw it clockwise as deep as it goes into one of the three holes in the tool body. Undo the
handle (4) to remove it
INSTALLING AND REMOVING THE DISK GUARD
1. Place the disk guard (1) on the tool so that the tabs on the guard match the seats in the tool body-the guard will then
be parallel to the tool.
2. Position (rotate) the guard (1) for maximum protection from sparks and debris.
3. Tighten the setting screw with a screwdriver (not included).
4. Reverse steps 1-3 to remove the guard.
CAUTION!
NEVER OPERATE THE TOOL WITHOUT THE GUARD ATTACHED.
ENSURE IT IS IN PLACE AND ATTACHED FIRMLY BEFORE STARTING YOUR WORK.

REPLACINGTHE GRINDING DISC
1. Ensure the tool is disconnected from the mains.
2. Lay it on a flat and solid surface.
3. Insert the spacing flange (12) onto the spindle (2). Ensure that the seat in the spacing flange (shown below) matches
the seat in the spindle. Install the spacing flange so that the seat is directed towards the spindle.
4. Place the grinding disk (11) on the spacing flange (12).
5. Insert the fastening (outer) flange (10) on the spindle (2) and tighten manually.
6. Press the lock button (3) and tighten the fastening flange (10) with the wrench (9).
7. Reverse the foregoing steps to remove the disk.
CAUTION!
REPLACINGTHE GRINDING DISC
1. Check that the tool is in perfect working order before every use.
2. Check that the tool is free from cracks or any other damage.
3. Always hold the tool with the both hands.
4. While grinding, hold the disk at an angle of approx. 15° to the surface of the workpiece. This will provide the best result
and prevent exerting excessive strain on the tool.
5. While using a new grinding disk, do not move the tool in direction B, as the disk will start to cut into the workpiece.
After the edge of the disk gets rounded as a result of usage, you will be able to move the tool in both directions.
6. Grinding or cutting metal produces sparks, which is normal.
7. Disconnect the tool from the mains before handling it in any way (changing attachments or performing maintenance).
8. Wear goggles while working.
9. Keep the tool and its ventilation slots clean and unobstructed for safe and efficient operation.
10. Use disks intended for your purpose the material you are working.
THE PLACEMENT OFTHE FASTENING FLANGE DEPENDS ON THE DISK.
FOR A CUTTING DISK FLAT OR WITH DEPRESSED CENTER HOLE, INSTALL
THE FLANGE WITHTHE FLAT SIDE FACINGTHE DISK INWARDS. FOR A
COARSE GRINDING DISK WITH DEPRESSED CENTER HOLE, INSTALL THE
FLANGE WITHTHE FLAT SIDE FACING OUTWARDS.
DISCONNECTTHE DEVICE FROM THE MAINS BEFORE INSTALLING OR
REMOVING A DISK.

11. When cutting, move the tool in a direction opposite to that in which the disk is rotating.
12. The tool may be used as a grinder or as a cutter.
13. Do not cut or machine light metals with a magnesium (Mg) content exceeding 80%, as such metals are flammable.
14. Do not cut objects thicker than the cutting depth of the disk.
15. Do not cut hard material thicker than 20 mm.
16. Ensure that the workpiece is securely fixed.
17. Have the carbon brush in the motor replaced without delay when it becomes necessary to do so.
18. The tool works with maximum grinding wheels thickness 6 mm and 125 mm in diameter.
19. The user-replaceable parts include the grinding/cutting disk, disk guard and side handle. Contact the service for
carbon brush replacement or repair.
CAUTION
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
ATTENTION! BEFORE PERFORMING ANYWORK ON THE EQUIPMENT, PULLTHE POWER PLUG.
• Keep the ventilation slots of the machine clean to prevent overheating of the engine.
• Regularly clean the machine housing with a soft cloth, preferably after each use.
• Keep the ventilation slots free from dust and dirt.
• If the dirt does not come off use a soft cloth moistened with soapy water.
NEVER USE SOLVENTS SUCH AS PETROL, ALCOHOL, AMMONIA WATER, ETC.THESE SOLVENTS MAY DAMAGE THE
PLASTIC PARTS.
LUBRIFICATION
• The machine does not require any specific lubrication.

SERVICE

the service for repair.

• Clean the device according to the instructions and leave until it is thoroughly dry. It is recommended that the device be
stored in its original package.
• Store the device in a dry and well-ventilated place inaccessible to children.

• This product has 2 Years Warranty for manufacturing defects. The warranty period will be counted from the date of
purchase of the product, according to purchase invoice. Product warranty only covers manufacturing defects, defects
resulting from improper use, such as dropping, improper transportation, connection to the mains power supply not in
compliance with the voltage specified in this manual, insertion of foreign objects and natural wear of parts and parts

INSTRUCCIONES DE OPERACIÓN
INSTALACIÓN Y EXTRACCIÓN DEL ASA LATERAL.
ASEGÚRESE DE QUE EL ENCHUFE NO ESTÉ EN EL ZÓCALO CUANDO INSTALE O RETIRE LA MANIJA AUXILIAR.

SUSTITUCIÓN DEL DISCO DE ESMERILADO.

CONSIGNES DE SECURITE PARTICULIERES POUR LES MEULEUSES ANGULAIRES
• Vérifiez que la vitesse maximale indiquée sur la meule correspond à la vitesse maximale de la machine. La vitesse de la
machine ne doit pas dépasser la valeur indiquée sur le disque d'affûtage.
• Assurez-vous que les dimensions de la meule correspondent aux spécifications de la machine.
• Assurez-vous que le disque de meulage a été monté et fixé correctement. Ne pas utiliser d'anneaux réducteurs ni
d'adaptateurs pour adapter le disque de meulage correctement.
• Traitez et stockez les disques de meulage conformément aux instructions du fournisseur.
• N'utilisez pas la machine pour rectifier des pièces dont l'épaisseur maximale dépasse la profondeur maximale de
rectification du disque de rectification.
• N'utilisez pas de disques abrasifs pour l'ébavurage.
• Lorsque des disques d'affûtage doivent être montés sur le filetage de la broche, assurez-vous que la broche a
suffisamment de filetage. Assurez-vous que la broche est suffisamment protégée et ne touche pas la surface de
meulage.
• Avant utilisation, inspectez le disque de meulage pour vous assurer qu'il n'est pas endommagé. N'utilisez pas de
disques de meulage fissurés, déchirés ou endommagés.
• Avant utilisation, laissez la machine tourner au ralenti pendant 30 secondes.
• Éteignez immédiatement la machine en cas de vibrations anormales ou d'apparition d'un autre défaut. Inspectez
soigneusement la machine et le disque de meulage avant de remettre la machine en marche.
• Assurez-vous que les étincelles ne mettent pas les personnes en danger ou qu'elles ne soient en contact avec des
substances hautement inflammables
• Assurez-vous que la pièce est suffisamment soutenue ou serrée. Gardez vos mains loin de la surface à couper.
• Portez toujours des lunettes de protection et une protection auditive. Si vous le souhaitez ou si vous en avez besoin,
utilisez également un autre type de protection, par exemple un tablier ou un casque.
• Assurez-vous que les roues et les pointes montées sont montées conformément aux instructions du fabricant.
• Assurez-vous que les buvards sont utilisés lorsqu'ils sont fournis avec le produit abrasif lié et lorsqu'ils sont nécessaires.
• Si un protecteur est fourni avec l'outil, n'utilisez jamais l'outil sans un tel protecteur.
• Pour les outils destinés à être équipés d'une roue à trous filetés, assurez-vous que le filetage dans la roue est
suffisamment long pour accepter la longueur de la broche.
• Assurez-vous que les orifices de ventilation sont dégagés lorsque vous travaillez dans des conditions poussiéreuses.
S'il est nécessaire d'éliminer la poussière, débranchez d'abord l'outil du secteur (utilisez des objets non métalliques) et
évitez d'endommager les pièces internes.
• Bien que le réseau électrique soit en mauvais état, de courtes chutes de tension peuvent apparaître lors du
démarrage de l'équipement. Cela peut influencer d’autres équipements (le clignotement d’une lampe, par exemple).
Si l'impédance du secteur Zmax <0,348 Ohm, de telles perturbations ne sont pas attendues (en cas de besoin, vous
pouvez contacter votre fournisseur local pour plus d'informations).
APPLICATION
• Avec des accessoires appropriés, la meuleuse d'angle peut être utilisée pour meuler et couper (avec un disque de
coupe) du métal ou de la pierre. Pour utiliser l'outil de coupe, achetez un disque de coupe approprié (non inclus
dans l'emballage du produit, achetez-le dans un magasin proposant de tels accessoires). Le respect des instructions
contenues dans ce manuel garantira une utilisation sûre de l'appareil. Le produit est conçu pour un usage privé /
domestique uniquement, ne convient pas pour un usage professionnel.
