1. Important Safety Instructions
•Prior to installing and operating the heater, read these instructions carefully and retain
for future reference.
•Indoor use only.
•Ensure the rated voltage is 230-240V.
•Do not install the heater directly below a socket.
•If using mounting feet, heater should be positioned on a flat horizontal surface.
•Arrange cord away from traffic areas so that it will not be tripped over.
•Do not place cable under carpets / rugs.
•Do not remove plug from power socket by pulling the supply cord. Always grip plug.
•Do not operate this appliance if the cable or plug becomes damaged.
•In case of heater fault or damaged supply lead, the appliance should be returned to the
distributor /manufacturer for repair.
•Ensure the appliance is switched OFF before connecting to the mains power supply.
•Do not cover heater in any manner, as the appliance may overheat and become a fire risk.
•Do not operate in areas where gasoline, paint or other flammable liquids are used or stored.
•Switch off the power supply and unplug from the mains socket when not in use, before
cleaning or changing accessories.
•Do not immerse in liquid or allow liquid into the interior of the appliance, as this could create
an electric shock hazard.
•Do not reach for an appliance that has fallen into water. Switch off at supply and unplug
immediately.
•Do not operate appliance with wet hands. Always ensure that hands are dry before operating
or adjusting any switch on the product or touching the plug and mains supply connections.

•Do not cover. NEVER use the heater to dry clothes or similar articles.
•Do not position the appliances close to curtains or other combustible materials. Keep
combustible material such as furniture, cushions, bedding, paper, clothes, curtains etc. at least
1.0m away from the heater.
•This appliance heats up when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surface.
Switch off and let cool down before moving. Store the heater in a cool, dry location when not
in use.
•This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.

3. Application
The BLISS range of personal heaters offers essential personal comfort and energy savings for anyone
who sits at a desk or workstation.
The THD 160 model is ideal for heating an individual at a single desk or workstation, and is supplied
with castor wheels for portability.
The THD 240 and THD 320 models are suitable under desk heating as well as localized heating
applications, and are provided with both castor wheels and surface mount brackets.
4. Installation and Operating Instructions
4.1 Castor Wheel Set
For portability, a castor wheel set is provided with each heater. This is easy to assemble, using the 2
screws supplied on the heater base.
• Firstly, remove the 2 screws found on either side of the heater base.
• Position the castor wheels over the screw locations and screw them to the bottom of the heater.
Once the castor wheels are fixed to the heater base, the heater can be moved anywhere to provide
energy efficient personal comfort.

Note: The power cord should be on the bottom side of the heater.
4.2 Surface Mounting
The THD 240 and THD 320 model heaters are suitable for wall or ceiling mounting.
The mounting bracket has 4 holes. Position the bracket in the desired location and mark the mounting
hole positions on the mounting surface. (Make sure the bracket is square and in line.)
Install the fixing devices. (Make sure the fixing devices are more than capable of safely securing the
heater.) The fixing devices should be suitable for the type of mounting surface; plaster, timber, brick
etc.
Remove mounting screws from the heater. There are 2 on the top, and 2 on the bottom.
Locate the heater in the mounting bracket. Fix heater to the bracket using the 4 screws provided.
Note: For wall mounting, the power cord should be on the bottom side of the heater.
4.3Operation
Plug in the heater and make sure the operating light is in the ‘ON’ position. The neon switch will
illuminate.
5. Warranty
BLISS heaters have a FIVE (5) YEAR REPLACEMENT WARRANTY*.
To claim for Warranty, please retain your receipt as proof of purchase and return the faulty heater to
the place you purchased it.
Warranty does not apply to heaters which have been misused or used in conditions other than those
for which they were intended for. Nor will it apply in the event of damage or accident resulting from
negligence, lack of care or maintenance, or if the heater has been modified in any way.
Thermofilm Australia Pty Ltd reserve the right to reject any Warranty claim deemed to be false.
