=Connect to a properly rated, protected and ized
power upply circuit to avoid electrical overload.
The di hwa her i de igned for an electrical upply
of 120 V (volt ), 60 Hz (hertz), AC, connected to a
di hwa her-dedicated, properly grounded electrical
circuit with a fu e or breaker rated for 15 ampere .
Electrical upply conductor hall be a minimum of
# 14 AWG copper wire rated at 75 °C (167 °F) or
higher. The e requirement mu t be met to prevent
injury and machine damage. Con ult a qualified
electrician if in doubt.
=Do not u e any exten ion cord or portable outlet
device to connect the di hwa her to a power upply.
=En ure that any pla tic wrapping , bag , mall
piece etc. are di po ed of afely and kept out of
the reach of children. Danger of uffocation!
=Remove the door to the wa hing compartment
when removing an old di hwa her from ervice or

6 2 PREPARATION FOR INSTALLING

In ert the hort leg upport into the leg of the di hwa her.
1. Remove the adhe ive tape (Figure A).
Place the trim trip on the front edge of the ide wall
(Figure B).
ÝNotice :
=Make ure the di hwa her i plumb and notice di hwa her
can be placed with a mall clearance under the counter
top.
Adju t the front foot level with the adju ting wrench to balance
and rai e the di hwa her to the enclo ure height.
Adju t the rear foot level with a crewdriver to balance and
rai e the di hwa her to the enclo ure height.
=Turning the crewdriver in the direction of the black arrow
will bring the di hwa her back feet up.
=Turning the crewdriver in the direction of the white arrow
will take the di hwa her rear feet down.

Remove the junction box cover by removing the crew a
hown in the figure. They will be rein talled later.

If the dishwasher is installed in a location that
experiences freezing temperatures (e g in a vacation
home, cabin etc ), you must drain all the water from the
dishwasher's interior Water system ruptures that occur
as a result of freezing are not covered by warranty
CAUTION
Do not over tighten the 90° elbow Doing so may damage
the water inlet valve and cause a water leak
6 5 PREPARING THE WATER CONNECTION (A)

In tall an ea ily acce ible hut-off valve (not upplied) in
the water upply line. All older connection mu t be made
before the water line i connected to the di hwa her water
inlet valve. Water can al o be upplied to the di hwa her
by u ing a flexible braided ho e line.
Check with your plumbing upply ource for the proper
ho e and 90° elbow and nece ary fitting for the water
upply line. Thi material i not upplied, and mu t be
purcha ed eparately.
If the water upply line i to be copper tubing, make certain
that the elbow ha a compre ion fitting. Apply Teflon tape
or other pipe ealant when required. Orient the water upply
connection on the left ide a hown in the figure o the
water line can be ea ily pulled underneath or on the ide of
the di hwa her.

The di hwa her drain ho e may be connected to the drain
plumbing in one of three way (Figure A, B, C).
In tall a Y-branch tail pipe. (Figure A)
If the local ordinance require an air gap (Figure B).
Remove the drain connection plug before attaching the
drain ho e from the di hwa her.
Every di po al ha a hook up for a di hwa her; con ult
your di po er manual for correct connection. (Figure C)

Make sure all hoses and electrical wire are pulled through
the side opening of the cabinet, no hoses are kinked
and all slack is taken out as shown in the above figure
7 PLACEMENT OF DISHWASHER INTO THE
OPENING
7 1 DRAIN HOSE CONNECTION, WATER
SUPPLY & ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
Now place the di hwa her into the opening and get ready
to connect all ho e and electrical connection .
7 1 1 DRAIN HOSE CONNECTION
Connect the drain ho e to the drain plumbing.
1. U e the upplied rubber connection ho e and drain ho e
clamp to connect the di hwa her drain ho e to the
plumbing drain connection.
2. U e the pring clamp to ecure the rubber connection
ho e to the di hwa her drain ho e. U e the crew clamp
to ecure the rubber connection ho e to the plumbing
drain connection.

7 1 3 WATER SUPPLY CONNECTION
After connection are made turn on the water upply to

7 1 4 ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
7 1 5 Grounding In truction
Thi appliance mu t be grounded. In the event of a
malfunction or breakdown, grounding will reduce the ri k of
electric hock by providing a path of lea t re i tance for
electric current. Thi appliance mu t be in talled and
grounded in accordance with all local code and ordinance .
Water upply may be connected to the di hwa her in one
of two way :
=With metal braided ho e.
=With copper tubing.

WARNING
=Improper connection of the equipment-grounding
conductor can result in a risk of electric shock
Check with a qualified electrician or service
representative if you are in doubt whether the
appliance is properly grounded

the kick plate. (Figure A)
Pa the electrical upply cable through the train relief;
make ure the train relief clamp the in ulated outer
ca ing of your electrical upply cord and not the wire

(Figure B). Tighten the train relief crew . (Make ure
you can not pull the electrical cord out) of the train relief.
Do not pre-twi t the wire before connecting them with
wire nut .
U ing the upplied wire nut , connect the electrical upply
wire to the di hwa her wire , black to black, white to
white, and green or bare to green or bare. Make certain
that the in ulated wire how no bare wire from the
bottom of the wire nut . Gently tug the wire to make
certain they are ecurely connected.

7 1 6 FASTEN JUNCTION BOX
7 2 READJUSTING FOOT LEVELS
1. Pull the wire into the junction box. Be ure that the
wire nut do not loo en.
2. Replace the cover on the junction box.
3. Secure the cover with the crew (Figure D).
Now that the di hwa her i in the cabinet you mu t
readju t the feet to bring the di hwa her up to the
required height and attach it underneath the countertop.
1. Readju t the front foot level with adju ting wrench
to balance the di hwa her and rai e it up under the
countertop, make ure the unit i level.
2. Readju t the rear foot level with a crewdriver to
balance the di hwa her and rai e it to the required
height u ing the bracket upplied.
3. Attach the di hwa her underneath the countertop
with the four crew upplied (Ø

of the countertop or damage granite.

7 3 ADJUSTING THE MOVABLE TOE KICK
Now that you have ucce fully in talled the di hwa her,
you need to attach the toe kick to the di hwa her. The two
piece toe kick can be adju ted to the height and depth
needed for your kitchen. Be ure to u e the lotted toe kick
in the front and the other behind it. They lide into each
other.
1. In ert the movable toe kick bracket into the channel
( A).
2. Make ure that the pla tic tab to the left of the L opening
on the di hwa her ha not clo ed the channel you will
pu h the bracket through.
Be ure to notice there i a left and a right bracket.
3. Now attach the toe kick to the bracket with the two
