MODELS WTS (ICE)
User’s Manual
The WTS (ICE) range has been protecting people from harmful bacterial and viral contamination for decades. Even at low doses, UV radiation provides
protection against chlorine-resistant pathogens such as Cryptosporidium and Giardia. The models are engineered to sterilize the water supply of ice
machines, with results of instantaneous deactivation of contaminant loads and deodorization of water.

1.3 Note from the manufacturer
Thank you for choosing BLUESTERI sterilization technologies. We have designed the devices in accordance with the applicable European directives and standards. We
developed applications for disinfection and cleaning of air, water and surfaces. There are four categories of light wavelengths that we use UV: UV-A, UV-B, Vaccum UV and
UV-C. The high energy from short wavelength UV-C light is absorbed into cellular RNA and DNA, preventing contamination and reproduction of microorganisms. The device's
construction relies on UV-C wavelengths at 254 nm to inactivate microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses and protozoa. UV-C energy is an effective, environmentally friendly
and chemical-free way to prevent the reproduction of microorganisms in any aquatic environment.
1.4 Marking label
The marking plate is located at the back. It contains the main technical data for the
equipment and identifies the MODEL and SERIAL NUMBER, which is vital information
for any queries to the manufacturer.
European Directive on waste electrical and electronic equipment.
The International (WEEE) Directive specifies that, at the end of the life cycle of an
appliance, its components and consumables should be sent separately to be recycled
or reused.

2.6 Instructions and installation examples
WTS ICE appliances have been designed in a way that allows them to be installed in
multiple locations such as on the floor of internal kitchen cabinets or supported on walls
next to consumption points.
They can serve the supply of the ice maker and at the same time the consumptionof a tap.
The external stainless steel cabinet allows us to place objects on top of the appliance.
For the placement of the device we must have the most ideal
position, without having the possibility of support from
sockets of the device on the point (6).
Insert the cable of the package into the power input of
the device (8) and then into the appropriate socket.
Place the water supply to theappliance at the point
(5) and the return of the appliance (4) to your
consumption.
Switch on the device by the on/off button (9).
Use the wireless on/off control to activate the device
from a distance of up to 8 metres.
When the lamp is switched on you will see the
colour of the indicator lamp (3) is red

The drawing above shows the components that are included in the UV reactor. To replace the lamp, we must have drained the water from the device by closing the water inlet
tap (L) in the reactor and opening the consumption supply (F) to depressurize the internal pressure of the reactor. We then need to rotate the rack (A) counterclockwise and
watch that it will detach from the fixed rack (E). Pull back the fitting pulling the lamp and the rubber connector (D). Disconnect the power supply connector (B) from the lamp
and remove the lamp from the reactor.
Replace the new bulb in the reactor and fit the rubber sealing connector (D) to the fixed connector (E). Connect the power plug (B) to the bulb and screw the rack (A) clockwise
to the fixed connector (E) until it terminates. Open the supply from the valves (F) and check for any leaks between the rack (A+E). If there is no leakage you can switch on the
device.
CAUTION: To replace the lamp. To replace the lamp, disconnect the appliance from the power supply and depressurize the water
pressure. Wear gloves throughout the replacement process.
