GENERAL INFORMATION Bluebeep Car Seat GUARDIAN®
Initialize your Bluebeep Car Seat GUARDIAN® according to the application's user guide Bluebeep
Guardian.
Attach the child to the harness restraint in accordance with the child's supplier of baby car seat. In the
event that no smartphone is connected to the module, if it is equipped with a buzzer, Bluebeep Car Seat
GUARDIAN® will emit a series of short beeps when you install the child. This signal is only audible once
aer the child is installed. Bluebeep Car Seat GUARDIAN® will then be ready to inform you continuously.

WARNINGS
Do not ingest battery, risk of chemical burn.
This product contains a battery. If swallowed, the battery may cause severe internal burns in just 2 hours, which
can be fatal.
Keep new and used batteries out of the reach of children. If the battery compartment does not close securely, do
not use the product and keep it out of the reach of children. In case of suspected ingestion of an accumulator or
introduction into any part of the body, immediately seek medical advice.
CAUTION RISK OF EXPLOSION IF THE BATTERY IS REPLACED BY A TYPE BATTERY INCORRECT. DISPOSE OF USED
BATTERIES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
USING THE Bluebeep Car Seat GUARDIAN® system
When you first install Bluebeep Car Seat GUARDIAN® on a baby car seat, initialize it in accor-
dance with the Bluebeep Guardian Application User Guide.

Bluebeep Car Seat GUARDIAN® is designed to go into sleep mode if no event nor child presence
are detected. To wake it up, see it on your smartphone, and activate the monitoring, you should
slightly shake the baby car seat or simply the harness on which it is mounted. This awakening is
performed naturally at the child's installation.
Aer leaving the vehicle and being far away (about 80 feet), the application Bluebeep GUAR-
DIAN will sound a reminder alerting you if the baby is still in the vehicle. This reminder is accom-
panied by the sending of SMS and Email messages to the addresses you have entered.
When using on an aircra : remove the Bluebeep Car Seat GUARDIAN® battery.
To comply with the FAA Electronic Device Regulations, the battery must be removed before
take-o.
Note: Aer landing, put the battery back in place.
LIMITED WARRANTY
Bluebeep warrants this product (including accessories) to the original user ("Buyer") to be free from defects in materials Or
manufacture for a period of 1 year from the date of original purchase of this product or, as the case may be, over the legal
period of the national regulations. The sole responsibility of Bluebeep under the terms of this limited express warranty is to
repair or replace, at its discretion, any product that will be deemed to be defective and that will be determined by Bluebeep
to be covered under the terms of this guarantee.
Repair or replacement under the terms of this warranty is the sole remedy of the buyer. Proof of Purchase in the form of an
invoice or contract of sale, proving that the Product is still under the warranty period, shall be provided to obtain warranty
service. This limited express warranty is granted EXCLUSIVELY by Bluebeep to the original purchaser of this Product and
cannot be assigned or transferred to subsequent purchasers or users of this product. For warranty service, contact your

Bluebeep Car Seat GUARDIAN® is powered by a non-supplied CR2450 lithium button battery that cannot
be recharged. The Bluebeep Guardian application informs you about the state of the battery. As soon as
the worn battery icon appears, you will have to replace it.
The useful life of the battery under normal conditions of use is estimated to be about 1 year.

IF YOUR SEAT IS EQUIPPED WITH A SHOULDER PAD, VERIFY THAT THE SHOULDER PAD IS SUFFICIENTLY WIDE
(APPROXIMATELY 2 INCHES) TO PERMIT THE POSITIONNING OF THE BLUEBEEP CAR SEAT GUARDIAN® MODULE
INSIDE THE SHOULDER PAD.

INSTALLATION OF Bluebeep Car Seat GUARDIAN®
• Open the battery cover by turning it counterclockwise.
• Place the CR 2450 battery, the + above.
• Close the battery cover.
• Pinch the harness shoulder strap into the top and bottom hooks.
• Position the module over the shoulder strap with the battery cover facing forward,
Ring upwards.
• Insert the module into the shoulder pad, as close as possible to the backrest.
• Ensure the distance from the module to the seat back :
- if the shoulder guard is sewn: form a loop around the shoulder strap by passing the strap
provided in the module ring.
- if the shoulder guard is sliding or non-existent: place the supplied strap blocker in the strap
of the module, then form a loop with this strap by passing it through the ring of the module.
Module, then pass the strap blocker in the strap passage of the backrest.
FINAL TEST:
Avoid any metal parts near (2 inches) from Bluebeep Car Seat
GUARDIAN® which could distort the information transmitted.
Check the mounting direction of the battery.
Ensure that Bluebeep Car Seat GUARDIAN® is properly positioned in the
shoulder guard, and close to the back of the baby car seat.
Make sure the harness straps are not twisted.
In accordance with the recommendations of the baby car seat supplier,
pull the harness to make sure it is well tight and secured, and does not
detach.
Check that the Bluebeep Car Seat GUARDIAN® module does not fit into
the back of the seat.
