INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION
LWARNING 1: The oor has to be capable of supporting the expected load.
LWARNING 2: An adequate drainage system has to be provided to deal with overow water.
LIMPORTANT: Because of the combined weight of the spa tub, water and users, it is extremely
important that the surface on which the spa tub is installed is smooth, at, level and capable
of uniformly supporting this weight for the entire time the spa tub is installed. If the spa tub is
placed on a surface which does not meet these requirements, any damage caused by improper
support will void the warranty. It is the responsibility of the spa tub owner to ensure the
integrity of the site at all times.
a) Indoor installation:
Be aware of special requirements if you install the spa tub indoors.
1. The oor must be able to withstand the capacity of the spa tub. The oor should be a non-slip,
level surface.
2. Proper drainage is essential when the spa tub is installed indoors. If the spa tub is to be located
in a purpose-built room, it is recommended that a oor drain be installed.
3. Humidity is a natural side eect of spa tub installation. The eects of airborne moisture on
exposed wood, paper, etc. in the proposed location should be determined. To minimize these
eects it is best to provide plenty of ventilation in the area in question. An architect can help
you determine whether more ventilation is needed.
LNOTE: Do not install the spa tub on carpet or other material that can be damaged by moisture.
b) Outdoor installation:
1. No matter where you install the spa tub, it is important that there is a solid foundation. If you
are installing the spa tub outdoors, make sure there are no sharp objects that could damage it
and that the location is level so that the spa tub is stable and can be properly inated.
2. Water may spill out of the spa tub during lling, emptying or usage. The spa tub should be
installed near a ground drain.
3. Do not leave the spa tub’s surface exposed to direct sunlight for long periods of time.
Assembly
1. Unpack the spa tub. Fold open the spa tub and cover and make sure they are the right side up.
2. Unpack the control box.

MAINTAINING
A. Maintaining water quality
1. Clean the lter cartridge at least once after 72 to 120 hours of operation. Replace the lter
cartridge at least once a month depending on use.
2. Change the water every few days, or use appropriate pool chemicals. Consult your local spa tub
or pool retailer for more information about chemical maintenance. Pay close attention to the
chemicals manufacturer’s instructions. The warranty does not cover spa damage resulting from
misuse of chemicals and mismanagement of spa water.
A. We recommend that you maintain the water PH at between 7.2 and 7.8, while total
alkalinity should be between 80 and 120 ppm and free chlorine between 3 to 5 ppm.
B. Purchase a test kit to test the water chemistry each time you use the spa tub, or at least
once a week. Low PH will damage the spa tub and pump. The warranty does not cover
damage resulting from any chemical imbalance.
C. Water sanitation is the responsibility of the spa tub owner and is achieved through the
regular addition of an approved sanitizer. The sanitizer will chemically control bacteria and
viruses which are present in the water or are introduced while the spa tub is used.
B. Cleaning the lter cartridge
1. Unplug the spa tub from the socket.
2. Unscrew the lter cartridge.
3. Remove the lter cartridge cover.
4. Rinse o the lter cartridge with a garden hose and reuse it. Replace the lter cartridge if it is

zwembad stapt;
7. Bescherm gebruikers van het zwembad van met het water
verwante aandoeningen door het zwembadwater te verzorgen
en een goede hygiëne toe te passen. Raadpleeg de richtlijnen
