ADDITIONAL FEATURES
Boil First function to boil the water first and then get the required
temperature depending on the tea variety.
The Keep Warm function enables to mantain the selected temperature
upto 10 minutes.
You can reset all the settings any time by simply taking the kettle
offthebase.
TEMPERATURE SETTINGS
BORK K780 has five preset temperature settings for different teavariety.
Such function allows you to brew a perfect drink that reveal thetrue
tealeaf flavor.

KEEP WARM
The Keep Warm function allows to maintain
the selected temperature inside the vessel for
longer time.
Activate the Keep Warm function before setting
water temperature inside the kettle is reached.
Maximum operation time of the Keep Warm
function — 10 minutes.
• To activate the Keep Warm function, press
and hold buttons and for 2 seconds.
Indication will be displayed.

• To cancel the Keep Warm function, press and
hold buttons and for 2 seconds or take
the kettle off the base.
POWER OUTLET CONNECTION RULSE
• Do not touch the power cord plug with wet
hands
• Connect the device to grounded sockets only.
• When removing the plug from the power
outlet, do not pull the cord; always take
bytheplug.
FIRST TIME USE
• Fill the kettle with water till МАХ level, then
boil it by pressing button , pour the water
away.
OPERATING
• Connect the kettle to the power outlet.
Thecontrol panel will switch to ready, and
thefollowing indications will be displayed:

• Fill the kettle with water between level marks
MIN (500 mℓ) and MAX (1,700 mℓ).
• Put the kettle onto the base.
• Using button select the desired
temperature settings:
White 65°С
Green 75°С
Oolong 85°С
Herbal 95°С
Black 100 °С
• Push button to start heating, indication
will be displayed together with current
water temperature.

• When the selected temperature is reached,
it will be announced by a sound signal and

CLEANING AND CARE
• Disconnect the kettle from the power outlet
and let it cool down before cleaning.
• Do not use abrasive detergents or scrubs
forcleaning.
• Wash the kettle lid with running water and
a liquid detergent, then wipe it with a soft dry
cloth.
• Rinse the glass flask interior with clean
running water.
• Wipe the glass flask exterior with a cloth
wetted with a soap solution. Then wipe it with
a dry cloth.
• Do not use for cleaning of metal surfaces
any abrasive items, lemon acid, hard sponge
orwire wool.
• Remove scale on a regular basis using
a special lime scale remover.
To avoid damage, do not wash the device
oritscomponents in a dishwasher.

damage the kettle.
The device power base and vessel bottom
arenot designed for immersion in water during
cleaning.
STORAGE
It is recommended to store the device
intheassembled condition in a cool dry place
isolated from places for storing acids and
alkalies at5 to 30°С temperature and maximum
relative humidity of 65 %. Do not expose
thedevice to significant temperature changes
ordirect sunlight.
STAND BY MODE
If kettle is not used and Keep Warm function is
inactive, the appliance will automatically switch
to stand by mode after 3 minutes. Thedisplay is
off in this mode.
• To bring the kettle back to the operating
mode, take it off the base and then put it
back, or push any button on control panel.
PRELIMINARY BOILING FUNCTION – BOIL FIRST
• This function allows to prepare water for
optimal tea brewing.
• Having selected the temperature settings,
press and hold button for 3 seconds.
• Indication 100 will be displayed temporarily
toindicate that Boil First function is active.
• Then will be displayed, as well as the
current water temperature inside the kettle.

• As soon as the water boils, indication
will be displayed and the water temperature
inside the kettle will start dropping
totheselected value.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Failure/Issue Solution
Е1/Overheat Let the device body cool down.
Then fill the kettle with water.

• Make sure the mains voltage correspond
tothedevice parameters prior of using it.
• Connect the device to grounded sockets only
(if grounding is not implemented
inconformance to the local regulations,
themanufacturer/manufacturer’s authorized
representative disclaims any indemnity liability).
• Proceed with caution using a kettle filled with
hot water.
• To avoid burns, do not touch the kettle body,
only use the handle. Be careful with the hot
steam coming out of the lid.
• Do not open the kettle lid during water heating
or just after switching off.
• Use the kettle for water heating only.
• Do not put the kettle in close vicinity to heat
sources or onto uneven surfaces.
• Do not put the kettle close to items that may
bedeformed by heating.
• Do not fill the kettle with water above
themaximum level to avoid spillage
ontheconnector.
• If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may
beejected.
• This appliance is intended to be used
inhousehold and similar applications such as:
– Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other
working environments;
– Farm houses;
– By clients in hotels, motels and other
residential type environments;
– Bed and breakfast type environments.
• The heating element surface is subject
toresidual heat after use.
• It is necessary to remove scaling from thekettle
on a regular basis, see the Cleaning and
care section. Scaling can change the internal
surface color, cause an excessive noise
during operation, kettle switching-off issues
upon reaching the selected temperature,
andincrease the water heating time.
• The kettle is only to be used with the stand
provided.
• Warning: Avoid spillage on the connector.
• Warning: Potential injury from misuse.
• Appliances can be used by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities
or lack of experience and knowledge if they
have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way
and understand the hazards involved.
• The device is not a measuring instrument.
Indication errors may take place due to external
influence.
• Do not remove the nameplate specifying
thedevice serial number and data and
donotlet it get damaged. It is required
for precise device identification in case
ofa malfunction.
• This appliance can be used by children aged
from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities
or lack of experience and knowledge if they
have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way
and understand the hazards involved.

The BORK company carries warranty for 1 years from the date of sale of this product.
To avoid misunderstandings, we kindly ask you to carefully study the Operating Instructions,
the conditions of warranty, check the correctness of the warranty card. Warranty is valid if
correctly and legibly indicated: model, serial number of the product, the date of sale, clear
stamps of the firm-seller, the buyer’s signature. The model and serial number of the product
must correspond to those in the warranty card.
If any of these conditions or when the data specified in the warranty card, altered, deleted
or overwritten, the warranty card shall be deemed invalid. If the date of the sale cannot be
established, in accordance with the legislation on consumer protection, the warranty period
and service life are counted from the date of manufacture.
Product KETTLE The date of manufacture is encoded in the serial number, for example:
1 and 2 signs — the week of manufacture; 3 and 4 signs — the year of manufacture;
the last 5 signs — serial number.

Warranty does not cover:

The warranty does not cover products

failure to observe the supplied operating instructions;
• foreign objects, substances, liquids, insects or animals

• impact of high and low ambient temperatures on heat
sensitive parts of the product;
• mechanical impact;
• Improper repairs and other interventions resulting
inchanges to the product design;
• connecting to the network with a voltage other than
specified in the instructions for use of the product,
or a non-compliance of the electric supply to state
standards of the Russian Federation;
• using the product for industrial and/or commercial
purposes;
• damaged electrical cords;
• using cleaning products, not specified in the operation
manual;
• the use of non-standard (non-original) consumables,
accessories, spare parts;
• force majeure circumstances (fire, flood, lightning).
Replacing faulty parts in the product (parts, components,
assembly units) during the warranty period does not lead
to the establishment of a new guarantee period either for
the entire product or the part replaced.
