SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
• Keep this operating manual, so that it can be
referred to in the future.
• The kettle is not meant for use by unattended
children.
• Upon detection of any damages suspend
operation of the kettle and bring it to the nearest
service center for testing, repair or replacement.
• Exercise caution when handling the kettle filled
with hot water.
• The kettle is meant only for boiling of drinking
water.
• Fill the kettle with water, so that its level was
between marks Min 500 (Minimum 0,5 l) and
Max 1700 (Maximum 1,7 l). Too little amount of
water does not guarantee reaching of the set
temperature, and can lead to premature switch
off of the kettle.
• For safety reasons all operations on repair and
maintenance of the kettle shall be performed
only by authorized representatives of BORK
certified service centers.
CLEANING
• First wipe the external surface of the kettle’s
casing with a wet napkin soaked in a soapy
solution and then wipe with a soft dry napkin. You
can also use special agents for cleaning metal
surfaces.
• Remove scale with a special descaling agent for
kettles.
Do not use wire wools, chemical agents, abrasive
cleaning agents, agents containing sulfanilamide or
formic acid for scale removal
