work on heavy-duty transmissions, including Spicer, Mack, Allison, Clark, Mercedes, Volvo and Iveco.
This heavy duty transmission jack features a wide chassis, fully adjustable 4way tilt cradle,
four 75mm diameter easy-roll castors and a swivel pump handle that can be repositioned in tight
spots. Our hydraulic wide chassis transmission jack is designed to be used as an aid in the removal

is for use under portable lift equipment, where vehicle must be supported by a pair of appropriately
rated vehicle stands. This Heavy Duty piece of kit weighs a stubborn 146kg and lifts transmissions up
to 900kg
2. BEFORE USE
Prior to each use conduct a visual inspection checking for abnormal conditions, such as cracked
welds, leaks, and damaged, loose, or missing parts.
Purge the hydraulic system to eliminate any air in the system:
1. Remove the oil fill plug from the top of the hydraulic ram.
2. Turn the release valve counter-clockwise to open.
3. Pump the handle up and down quickly several times to purge air from the system.
4. Check the hydraulic oil level and fill to 6mm below the fill port.
5. Replace the oil fill plug and close the release valve by turning it clockwise.
3. OPERATION
Warning:
Vehicle must be properly and adequately supported before commencing work with this

in firm contact.
11. Wrap the chain securely around the transmission, and hook the chain to the bracket on the
other side of the saddle.
12. Once it is securely fastened, release the bolts holding the transmission in place.
13. Make sure the area is clear of people and tools, and check the transmission is securely held in
place.
14. Slowly open the release valve to lower the transmission lifter.
