3 General description
The automatic and the manual filling link are Type CA, non-verifiable disconnectors
according to EN 14367-2005.
The filling links have a backflow prevention device and can be left permanently
connected to the heating system up to category 31) heating water according to
EN 1717-2000.

In case of inhibitor/additive/anti-freeze usage, please check the
water classification according to EN 1717-2000. Make sure that
the backflow preventer is suitable for water class. AFV/MFV
cannot be used with heating water higher than category 3.

4.1 Fitting and servicing the manual filling link
The manifold shown has hexagonal connection, some manifolds have octagonal
connections, the fitting method is identical.
▶ Close the isolating valves on the DHW inlet and CH return connections.
▶ Unscrew and remove the blanking plugs from the DHW inlet and CH return
connections.
▶ Ensure that the filter is positioned inside the inlet of the filling link.
▶ Assemble the filling link onto the DHW inlet and CH return connections.
▶ Ensurethat thefilling linkis pushedin fullyup tothe stoptabs onboth sidesof the
filling link.
▶ Fit two screws and lock washers in each of the isolating valves.
▶ Open the isolating valves on the DHW inlet and CH return connections.
There may be mains and system water pressure present behind
the blanking plugs, ensure that the isolating valves are closed.

4.2 Fitting and servicing the automatic filling link
▶ Close the isolating valves on the DHW inlet and CH return connections.
▶ Unscrew and remove the blanking plugs from the DHW inlet and CH return
connections.
▶ Ensure that the filter is positioned inside the inlet of the filling link.
▶ Assemble the filling link onto the DHW inlet and CH return connections.

▶ If the needle on the appliance pressure gauge reads less than 1 bar or low
pressure shown on HMI, re-charge the system.
▶ Pull the blue lever down to start the filling process.
▶ Monitor the pressure gauge or HMI.
▶ When the needle reaches between 1 to 1.5 bar on the gauge or HMI indicates that
the pressure is ok, release the blue lever to stop the filling process.

6.1 For zero hour filling with auto filling link
▶ For first installation of appliance filling link of auto filling link should be used.
▶ Turn filling link screw via screwdriver clockwise 90 degree gently to open and
pressurize your system.
▶ Check the pressure gauge during filling operation.
▶ Close filling link via screwdriver gently when the desired system pressure is
reached.

6.2 For daily usage filling with auto filling link
• The automatic filling link does not require any operation for filling the system. It
automatically keeps the system pressure at desired pressure.
• Additionally, the automatic filling link is capable to diagnose if sanitary water
pressure is low or there is a leakage in the heating system. For error codes and
functional information, please check your boiler operation manual.
A few drops of water may leak out of backflow preventer drain due
to pressure fluctuations in the heating system and sanitary water
circuit. This is for safety. In case of continuous leakage please
contact with your service.

Der automatische und der manuelle Systemtrenner sind Armaturen vom Typ CA mit
nicht kontrollierbarer Trennung nach EN 14367-2005.
Die Systemtrenner verfügen über einen integrierten Rückflussverhinderer und
können bis zur Heizwasserkategorie 31) gemäß EN 1717-2000 dauerhaft mit der
Heizungsanlage verbunden verbleiben.

Bei Verwendung von Inhibitoren, Zusatzmitteln oder Frostschutz-
mittel siehe Wasserklassifizierung nach EN 1717-2000. Sicher-

4.1 Montage und Wartung des manuellen Systemtrenners
Dasabgebildete Verteilerstück hat einen Sechskantanschluss.Einige Verteiler verfü-
gen über Achtkantanschlüsse. Die Vorgehensweise bei der Montage ist identisch.
▶ Absperrhähne am WW-Einlass- und HW-Rücklaufanschluss schließen.
▶ Verschlusskappen von WW-Einlass- und HW-Rücklaufanschluss aufschrauben
und abnehmen.
▶ Sicherstellen, dass der Filter im Einlass des Systemtrenners sitzt.
▶ Systemtrenner am WW-Einlass- und HW-Rücklaufanschluss montieren.
▶ Sicherstellen, dass der Systemtrenner komplett bis zu den Anschlagnocken auf
beiden Seiten des Systemtrenners eingeschoben wurde.
▶ Jeden Absperrhahn mit zwei Schrauben und Sicherungsscheiben festschrauben.
▶ Absperrhähne am WW-Einlass- und HW-Rücklaufanschluss öffnen.
Gegebenenfalls liegt hinter den Verschlusskappen der Netz- oder
der Anlagenleitung Wasserdruck an. Sicherstellen, dass die Ab-
sperrhähne geschlossen sind.
