AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS
Your fitting has a high quality finish and should be treated with care to
preserve the visible surfaces.
All surface finishes will wear if not cleaned correctly, the only safe way to clean
your product, is to wipe with a soft damp cloth. Stains can be removed using
washing up liquid. All bath cleaning powders and liquids can damage the
surface of your fitting even the non-scratch cleaners.

Before starting any installation project please consider:
Prior to drilling into walls, check there are no hidden electrical
wires, cables or water supply pipes with the aid of an electronic
detector. If you use power tools do not forget:
- Wear eye protection
- Unplug equipment after use

Warning
Please ensure these instructions are followed carefully- if you are unsure about any
aspect of the installation before hand consult your supplier.
Do not use mole grips on plastic nuts.
Do not use a sealing compound as damage may occur to plastic components.
Do not over tighten plastic nuts.
Pre-Installation
Fitting your filling valve.

1. Turn off water supply to cistern & remove cistern lid.
2. Flush the cistern & remove any loose dirt from inside the tank.
3. Disconnect & remove existing filling valve.
1. Insert correct filter restrictor into the threaded tail.
If pressure 4 bars (60p.s.i):whole piece
If 1 bar (14 p.s.i) pressure 4 bars (60 p.s.i): cut
here (mains pressure)
If pressure 1 bar (14 p.s.i): cut here (gravity
pressure/header tank)

2. Fit the filling valve. Ensure that the valve does not obstruct the flush mechanism.
Do not over tighten the back nut.

3. Important for new build installations: before turning water on ensure that one cold
water tap is open, so that dirt & loose particles in the pipework are flushed through
the tap ( we also recommend to flush through the water supply pipe to the cistern).
4. Connect water supply.
5. Turn on water supply, allow cistern to fill adjust the water level:
(A) Flush the cistern & turn off water supply
(B) Unclip the adjustment rod from the float (5b)
(C) Adjust the height of the float basin on the body (5c)
(D) Clip the adjustment rod on the float (5d): check that the red arm
(E) Check the water level is right.
(F) Check that the high level of the float basin is lower than the top
level of the flushing valve overflow.
