Adding more or removing laundry
The drying operation can be paused to add more laundry or remove laundry.
The programme must then be cont inued until it has finished.
The drum and the door may be hot!
1. Open door, the drying process is inte rrupted.
2. Load or remove laundry and close door.
3. If required, select a new progra mme and additional functions.
4. Press the Start/Stop button.
Emptying condensation
Empty the container after every u se.
1. Remove the condensation container and hold it
level.
2. Open the locking cap.
3. Pour out the condensatio n.
Check the valve in the condensation container for dirt:
If there are fluff deposits on the v alvearinse the valve under running w ater.
Also pour some tap water into the empty cond ensation container then pour it out
again through the valve.
To do this, press the val ve in and allow all the water t o drain out.
4. Close the locking cap.
5. Always push the tank fully back in until it locks in place.
If the Container/Clean indicator light comes
on after emptying t he container asee page 10.
Cleaning the fluff filter
Clean the fluff filter after eac h drying operation.
1. Open the door, remove the fluff filter.
2. Remove the fluff (by wiping t he filter with your hand).
If the fluff filter is heavily soiled o r blocked, rinse it with w arm water,
and dry it thoroughly.
3. Re-insert the fluff filter so that you hear it click into place .
4. Remove fluff from door/door area.
Switching off the dryer
Turn the programme selector to 0(Off).
Do not leave laundry in the d ryer.
Removing the laundry
Your dryer is equipped with an automatic anti-c rease function. The drum is moved at specific time int ervals
for 30 minutes once the programme has e nded. The laundry remains loose and s oft (for 90 minutes if the
Reduced Ironing Sadditional func tion is selected, depen ding on the model).

Selecting and adjusting the programme

Dryer housing, control panel, air inlet, moisture sensors
– Wipe off with a soft, damp cloth.
– Do not use harsh cleaning agents/solvents.
– Remove detergent and cleaning agent residue immediately.
Clean the air cooler 5 or 6 times a year
or if Containe r/Clean flashes after cleaning the fluff filter.
Air cooler
Remove the air cooler before cleaning it.
– Allow the dryer to cool.
– Residual water may leak out, so place an absorbent towel underneath
the maintenance door.
1. Unlock the maintenance door (1).
2. Open the maintenance door fully (2).
3. Turn both locking levers outwards (1).
4. Remove the front insert (2).
5. Remove the air cooler.
Do not damage the air cooler.
When cleaning, use warm water only. Do not use hard or sharp-edged objects.
6. Clean the air cooler completely. Let it drip completely dry.
Clean the seals.
7. Insert the air cooler first (handle facing down), then the front insert.
8. Turn back both locking levers.
9. Lock the maintenance door.
Moisture sensors
The dryer is equipped with stainless steel moisture sensors. Moisture sensors measure
how damp the laundry is. A thin layer of limescale may build up on the moisture sensors
after prolonged use.
1. Open the door.
2. Clean the moisture sensors using a sl ightly damp sponge with a rough
surface.
Do not use steel wool or abras ive materials.

Do not tumble-dry the followi ng fabrics for example:
– Airtight fabrics (e.g. rubber -coated fabrics).
– Delicate materials (silk , curtains made from synthetic material) athe y may crease.
– Laundry contamina ted with oil.
Before using the dryer for the first time
– Do not put any laundry inside the dry er. Turn the programme selector to Timed
Programmes (apage 7) and press Start/Sto p . At the end of the programme, turn the
programme selector to 0(Off ).
Drying tips
– To ensure a consist ent result, sort the laundry by fabric ty pe and drying programme.
– Always dry ve ry small items (e.g. baby socks) togethe r with larger items (e.g. hand towels).
– Close zips, hooks a nd eyelets, and button up covers. Tie c loth belts, bands, etc. together.
– Do not over-d ry easy-care laundry arisk of creasi ng!
Allow laundry to finish drying in the ai r.
– Do not iron la undry immediately after drying, f old items up and leav e for a while a
the remaining moisture will the n be distributed evenly.
– Knitted fabrics (e.g. T-sh irts, jerseys) often shrink during the ir first drying.
aDo not use the Very Dry program me.
– Starched laundry is not always suitable for dryers astarch leaves b ehind a coating that
adversely affects the drying opera tion.
– Use the correct dosage of fabric softener as per the manufactur er's instructions when
washing the laundry to be dried.
– Use the timer programme for small loads athis impr oves the drying result.
Environmental protection/energy-saving tips
– Before drying, spin the laundry thoroughl y in the washing machine athe higher the spin
speed, the shorter the drying time will be (consumes less energy), also spi n easy-care
laundry.
– Use the maximum recommended capacity, but do not exceed it

– Make sure the r oom is well ventilated during dry ing.
– Clean the fluff f ilter after every drying operation apag e 4.
– Do not obstruct or seal up the air inlet.
