The drying operation can be paused to add more laundry or remove laundry.
The programme must then be cont inued until it has finished.
The drum and the door may be hot!
1. Open door, the drying process is inte rrupted.
2. Load or remove laundry and close door.
3. If required, select a new progra mme and additional functions.
4. Press the Start/Stop button.
Emptying condensation
Empty the container after every u se.
1. Remove the condensation container and hold it
level.
2. Open the locking cap.
3. Pour out the condensatio n.
Check the valve in the condensation container for dirt:
If there are fluff deposits on the v alvearinse the valve under running w ater.
Also pour some tap water into the empty cond ensation container then pour it out
again through the valve.
To do this, press the val ve in and allow all the water t o drain out.
4. Close the locking cap.
5. Always push the tank fully back in until it locks in place.
If the Container/Clean indicator light comes
on after emptying t he container asee page 10.
Cleaning the fluff filter
Clean the fluff filter after eac h drying operation.
1. Open the door, remove the fluff filter.
2. Remove the fluff (by wiping t he filter with your hand).
If the fluff filter is heavily soiled o r blocked, rinse it with w arm water,
and dry it thoroughly.
3. Re-insert the fluff filter so that you hear it click into place .
4. Remove fluff from door/door area.
Switching off the dryer
Turn the programme selector to 0(Off).
Do not leave laundry in the d ryer.
Removing the laundry
Your dryer is equipped with an automatic anti-c rease function. The drum is moved at specific time int ervals
for 30 minutes once the programme has e nded. The laundry remains loose and s oft (for 90 minutes if the
Reduced Ironing Sadditional func tion is selected, depen ding on the model).

– Wipe off with a soft, damp cloth.
– Do not use harsh cleaning agents/solvents.
– Remove detergent and cleaning agent residue immediately.
Clean the air cooler 5 or 6 times a year
or if Containe r/Clean flashes after cleaning the fluff filter.
Air cooler
Remove the air cooler before cleaning it.
– Allow the dryer to cool.
– Residual water may leak out, so place an absorbent towel underneath
the maintenance door.
1. Unlock the maintenance door (1).
2. Open the maintenance door fully (2).
3. Turn both locking levers outwards (1).
4. Remove the front insert (2).
5. Remove the air cooler.
Do not damage the air cooler.
When cleaning, use warm water only. Do not use hard or sharp-edged objects.
6. Clean the air cooler completely. Let it drip completely dry.
Clean the seals.
7. Insert the air cooler first (handle facing down), then the front insert.
8. Turn back both locking levers.
9. Lock the maintenance door.
Moisture sensors
The dryer is equipped with stainless steel moisture sensors. Moisture sensors measure
how damp the laundry is. A thin layer of limescale may build up on the moisture sensors
after prolonged use.
1. Open the door.
2. Clean the moisture sensors using a sl ightly damp sponge with a rough
surface.
Do not use steel wool or abras ive materials.

Do not tumble-dry the followi ng fabrics for example:
– Airtight fabrics (e.g. rubber -coated fabrics).
– Delicate materials (silk , curtains made from synthetic material) athe y may crease.
– Laundry contamina ted with oil.
Before using the dryer for the first time
– Do not put any laundry inside the dry er. Turn the programme selector to Timed
Programmes (apage 7) and press Start/Sto p . At the end of the programme, turn the
programme selector to 0(Off ).
Drying tips
– To ensure a consist ent result, sort the laundry by fabric ty pe and drying programme.
– Always dry ve ry small items (e.g. baby socks) togethe r with larger items (e.g. hand towels).
– Close zips, hooks a nd eyelets, and button up covers. Tie c loth belts, bands, etc. together.
– Do not over-d ry easy-care laundry arisk of creasi ng!
Allow laundry to finish drying in the ai r.
– Do not iron la undry immediately after drying, f old items up and leav e for a while a
the remaining moisture will the n be distributed evenly.
– Knitted fabrics (e.g. T-sh irts, jerseys) often shrink during the ir first drying.
aDo not use the Very Dry program me.
– Starched laundry is not always suitable for dryers astarch leaves b ehind a coating that
adversely affects the drying opera tion.
– Use the correct dosage of fabric softener as per the manufactur er's instructions when
washing the laundry to be dried.
– Use the timer programme for small loads athis impr oves the drying result.
Environmental protection/energy-saving tips
– Before drying, spin the laundry thoroughl y in the washing machine athe higher the spin
speed, the shorter the drying time will be (consumes less energy), also spi n easy-care
laundry.
– Use the maximum recommended capacity, but do not exceed it

– Make sure the r oom is well ventilated during dry ing.
– Clean the fluff f ilter after every drying operation apag e 4.
– Do not obstruct or seal up the air inlet.

Installation
– Delivery specification : dryer, instructions for installation and use.
– Check dryer for transpor t damage.
– The dryer is very heavy. Do not attempt to lift it on your own.
– Be careful to avoid sharp edges.
– Do not lift the dryer by protruding parts (e.g. the door) - risk of breakage.
– Do not set up in a room that is susceptib le to frost.
Freezing water may cause dam age.
– If in doubt, have the appliance connect ed by an expert.
Setting up the dryer
– The appliance plug must always be accessible.
– Ensure th at the appliance is installed o n a clean, level
and firm surface.
– Keep the air inlet on the front of the dryer clear.
– Keep the area ar ound the dryer clean.
– Adjust the height of the dryer using the threaded
feet at the front.
– Do not unscr ew the threaded feet furth er than
20 mm.
Do not remove the threaded feet under any
circumstances.

– Connect to an AC earthed sock et. If in doubt have the socket checked by an exper t.
– The main s voltage and the voltage shown on the rating plate (aPage 9) must correspond.
– The connected load an d necessary fuse protection are specified on the ratin g plate.

Washer-dryer stack connection set
The dryer can be placed on top of a suitable washing machine with the same width and depth
to save space. This connection set must always be used to secure the dryer to th e washing
machine. If the worktop of the was hing machine is less than 544 mm deep, please consult
the after-sales service or your spec ialist retailer.

For easier loading and unloading. The basket in the pull-ou t can be used for carrying the
laundry.

If you cannot rectify a f ault yourself, please con tact our after-sales serv ice. We will always find
an appropriate solution an d will avoid unnecessary visit s by engineers. Trust the expe rtise of
the manufacturer and re st assured that the repair will be carried out by trained service
technicians using original spare pa rts. The contact details of your local after-s ales service can
be found in the enclosed after-sales service directory. When co ntacting the after-sales service,
please quote the applianc e's product number (E no.) and pro duction number (FD) (see the
inside of the door).

– Do not operate the dryer if there is a risk of frost.

– Connect the dryer acc ording to specifications to an AC earthed socket, as
otherwise it cannot be guaranteed that the applia nce is completely safe.
– The cable cross-section m ust be sufficient.
– Only use earth-leaka ge circuit breakers with the following symbol:

– Do not use multiple plugs/couplings and/or exten sion cables.
– Do not touch or hold the appliance plug with wet hand s

Operation – Only load the drum w ith laundry.
Check the contents before you sw itch the dryer on.
– Do not use the dryer if the laundry has been in contact with solven ts, oil, wax,
grease or paint (e.g. hair setting spray, nail polish remover, stain remover,
cleaning solvent, etc.) afire/explosio n hazard.
– Dust (e.g. coal dust, flour) poses a d anger:
do not use the dryer aexplosion hazard.
– Do not put laundr y containing foamed material/rubber in the dryer aelastic
material may be destroyed and the dryer may be damaged d ue to possible
deformation of the foamed material.
– Switch off the dryer once the programme has ended.
– Condensation is not drinking water and may be contami nated with fluff.
Defect – Do not use the dryer if it is defective or if you suspect it is .
Repairs must only be carried out by the after-sa les service.
– Do not use the dryer if the mains cable is defective. To avoid danger, only
have the defective mains cable replaced by the after-sales service.
Spare parts – Only use genuine spa re parts and accessories for sa fety reasons.
Disposal – Dryer: pull out the applian ce plug, cut off the mains cable from the
appliance. Dispose of the applianc e at a municipal waste disposal f acility.
– Packaging: do not leave children alone with pack ing parts
arisk of suffocation.
– All materials are envi ronmentally safe and can be reused. Dispose of all
materials in an environmentally-respons ible manner.

– To ensure a consistent result, sort the laundry by fabric type and drying programme.
– Always dry very small items (e.g. baby socks) together with larger items (e.g. hand towels).
– Close zips, hooks and eyelets, and button up covers. Tie cloth belts, bands, etc. together.
– Do not over-dry easy-care laundry arisk of creasing!
Allow laundry to finish drying in the air.
– Do not iron laundry immediately after drying, fold items up and leave for a while a
the remaining moisture will then be distributed evenly.
– Knitted fabrics (e.g. T-shirts, jerseys) often shrink during their first drying.

Installation
– Delivery specification: dryer, instructions for installation and use.
– Check dryer for transport damage.
– The dryer is very heavy. Do not attempt to lift it on your own.
– Be careful to avoid sharp edges.
– Do not lift the dryer by protruding parts (e.g. the door) - risk of breakage.
– Do not set up in a room that is susceptible to frost.
Freezing water may cause damage.
– If in doubt, have the appliance connected by an expert.
Setting up the dryer
– The appliance plug must always be accessible.
– Ensure that the appliance is installed on a clean, level
and firm surface.
– Keep the air inlet on the front of the dryer clear.
– Keep the area around the dryer clean.
– Adjust the height of the dryer using the threaded
feet at the front.
– Do not unscrew the threaded feet further than
20 mm.
Do not remove the threaded feet under any
circumstances.

– Connect to an AC earthed socket. If in doubt have the socket checked by an expert.
– The mains voltage and the voltage shown on the rating plate (aPage 9) must correspond.
– The connected load and necessary fuse protection are specified on the rating plate.

Washer-dryer stack connection set
The dryer can be placed on top of a suitable washing machine with the same width and depth
to save space. This connection set must always be used to secure the dryer to the washing
machine. If the worktop of the washing machine is less than 544 mm deep, please consult
the after-sales service or your specialist retailer.

Emergency – Pull the appliance plug out of the socket immediately or disconnect the fuse.
ONLY use the
dryer...
– In rooms inside the house.
– To dry fabrics.
The dryer must
NEVER...
– Be used for other purposes than those described above.
– Be modified in terms of its technology or attributes.
Dangers – The dryer must not be used by children or persons who have not been
instructed in its use.
– Do not leave children unsupervised near the dryer.
– Keep pets away from the dryer.
– Remove all objects from pockets.
Make especially sure that cigarette lighters are removed as they constitute an
aexplosion hazard.
– Do not lean or sit on the door arisk of tipping.
– Open the door carefully. Hot steam may escape.
Installation
– Secure loose cables atripping hazard.
– Do not operate the dryer if there is a risk of frost.

– Connect the dryer according to specifications to an AC earthed socket, as
otherwise it cannot be guaranteed that the appliance is completely safe.
– The cable cross-section must be sufficient.

– Switch off the dryer once the programme has ended.
– Condensation is not drinking water and may be contaminated with fluff.
Defect – Do not use the dryer if it is defective or if you suspect it is.
Repairs must only be carried out by the after-sales service.
– Do not use the dryer if the mains cable is defective. To avoid danger, only
have the defective mains cable replaced by the after-sales service.
Spare parts – Only use genuine spare parts and accessories for safety reasons.
Disposal – Dryer: pull out the appliance plug, cut off the mains cable from the
appliance. Dispose of the appliance at a municipal waste disposal facility.
– Packaging: do not leave children alone with packing parts

– All materials are environmentally safe and can be reused. Dispose of all
materials in an environmentally-responsible manner.
