Amount of laundry, soiling, water hardness ( ask your water supply
company) and manufacture r's instructions.
Pour liquid detergent into the appropriate dispenser and place in the drum.

laundry for the relevant pr ogramme.
– Wash no rmally soiled laundry without a pre-wash.
– Instead of LFCottons 90 °C, choose the programme
LFCottons 60 °C with the additional function jEcoPe rfect.

You can change the spin speed and the temperature before the selected programme starts
and while it is running. The effects dep end on the programme progress.

You can change the displayed washing temper ature. The maximum selec table temperature
depends on the current programm e.
ʑReady in
When you select the programm e, the relevant programme dur ation is displayed. You can
delay the start of the programme be fore it begins. The Ready in- time c an be set in
increments of one hour up to a m aximum of 24 hours. Press the Rea dy in button
repeatedly until the required number of hours is displayed (h = hour).
Choose $Start/Reload.
ʑrpm (spin speed / without final spin)
You can change the d isplayed spin speed. The m aximum selectable spin speed depends on
the model and on whic h programme is currently selec ted.

You can lock the w ashing machine to prevent the functio ns you have
set from being changed inadvertently.
ON/OFF: Press and hold t he $Start/Reload button for 5 seconds after
the start/end of the programme.
Note: The childproo f lock can remai n activated until you wish to s tart
the next programm e, even after sw itching off the m achine.
Then you can d eactivate the childpro of lock before the start of the
programme and activate it again as necessary on ce the programme
has started.
YES +oReload
If you want to add a dditional items of laundry after the progra mme has
started, choose $Start/Reload. Th e machine ch ecks whether
reloading is possible.
YES + illuminated: Relo ading is possible .
NO flashes: wait until YES + light up.
Note: do not open the door until both the YES + symbols are lit.
NO: It is not possible to reload.
Note: For safety reasons, the washing m achine door remains locked
when the water level and/or temperat ure is high, or during spinning.
To continue the programme, pres s the $Start/Reload button .

Protecting the laundr y and the machine
– W hen determining the dosag e of all washing p owders, additives and c leaning agents, you
must follow the manufacturer's instructions.
– Empty pockets.
– Look out for m etal items (paperclips, etc.).
– Wash d elicates in a laundry bag (tights, curtains, u nderwired bras).
– Fasten zips , do up any buttons.
– Brush san d out of pockets and c ollars.
– Remove c urtain fittings or place in the laundr y bag.
Laundry with varying degrees of soiling
Wash new items of c lothing separately.
light Do not pre-wash. If required, choos e the additional function
iSpeedPerfect.
Pre-treat any stains as necessary.
intense Do not load as much laundry.
Choose a programme with a prewa sh.
Soaking Load laund ry of the same colour
Pour soaking agent/detergent into compartment II in accord ance with the manufacturer 's
instructions. Turn the prog ramme selector to LFCottons 30 °C and press $Start/Re load.
After approx. 10 minutes, press $Start/Reload to pause the programme. Once the requir ed
soaking time has elaps ed, press $Start/Reload again to continue the programme, or select
a different programme .
Starch Laundry should n ot be treated with fabric softener.
Starching is possible in a ll wash programmes if liquid starch is used. Pour the starch i n
accordance with the manufactur er's instructions into fabric softener com partment ~(rinse first
if necessary).
Dyeing/Bleaching
Dye should only be used in normal household quantities. Salt may damage stainless steel.
Always follow the dye ma nufacturer's instructions! Do not use the wash ing machine for
bleaching clothes!
