a. Select product family by the options as below

i. Select a product family –Wireless Networking

ii. Select product line –Intel®WI-Fi products

iii. Select a product name - Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260

In this step, please make sure that you download the right bits of your operating system.

EX: Windows 7 32bit.

Windows 7 64bit.

Note: If you install wrong version, it will not allow to work.

d. After you select operating system, It will show many kind files you can download,

Which file should you download?

After selecting download from this page and accepting the end user license agreement, you will

be prompted with a popup menu. Download the appropriate file for your Operating System and

user requirements. File naming is described below.

All Files:

Wireless_16.10.0_All - This file includes all .exe and .zip files for Windows 7, 8 and 8.1. When

you download this file you may want to use the download manager program in case there is a

network issue during download. The download manager can be installed when you select the

file for download. Follow the instructions to install the Akamai download manager for Intel.

Drivers Only:

This is a compressed package which includes all files required to install the wireless adapter

drivers only. The ZIP package allows you to extract the drivers for installation on multiple

systems.
