Annexe and Inner Tent Erection Instructions
520 Plus (Tall) & Aspire (Tall)
Before commencing erection of the Annexe it is vital that the awning is fully erecte , tensione an
pegge as if the Annexe were not to be use .
Tip! Sli e approx. 10 grey ‘sli ing pegging anchors’ onto the piping of the PVC splashwall, positioning 3-
4 on each si e of the Annexe skirt before erecting.
Tip! Notice the ouble ‘sewn-in’ pegging anchors at corner points C & D. It’s these that will play an
important part in stretching the Annexe canvas over its frame. Points 4 & 8 explains all!
1. Remove the appropriate si e panel from your awning. If you’ like to zip the si e panel back into
the Annexe later, you shoul leave all the pegs ‘in situ' an just with raw them sufficiently to
release the pegging la ers.
2. Attach the Annexe to the awning bringing 1 zip sli er from each si e to meet in the centre of the
zip at hea height. (Between the points ‘O’ on iagram 1.
3. Next peg the Annexe to the groun using the fixe anchors at point A (nearest to the awning si e
panel) on both si es.
4. Place a rubber pegging la er on each of the ouble ‘sewn-in’ pegging anchors at points C & D as
shown in iagram 1 (2 la ers in each corner). Peg the outsi e rubber pegging la ers on each
corner point C & D, ensuring that all 3 si es of the Annexe are taut an the Annexe is as square
to the awning as possible. The a itional la er at these points must be pulle into the Annexe
itself an will eventually (point 8) have the spike foot of the upright leg place into the 2
n
or 3
r
rung of the la er. See iagram 2.
5. Peg the remaining pegging points own at each si e an across the back.
6. Assemble the frame (as per frame iagram in box) omitting the centre roof pole at this stage.
7. Offer the ’45 egree goalpost’ arrangement along with the 2 corner upright legs into the Annexe
bo y. Be careful not to exten the legs too much at this point to allow easy entry.
8. Tip! To stop the frame from slipping, place the spike foot of each of the ‘45 egree legs’ into
the pegging la ers on the ‘awning’ (not the Annexe). The spike foot of the corner ‘upright’ legs
can now be place into the 2
n
or 3
r
rung of the la er that you pulle into the Annexe from
points C & D – see point 4 an iagram 2.
9. Tension the upright legs an the 45 egree legs until a equate tension is achieve .
